Some of my favorite memories growing up was getting ice cream in the summer. 25 years later, and I still haven’t found ice as good as this place and I’ve lived all over the country. I would go back to Scottsbluff just for this ice cream.
We were looking for icecream after hiking at Scotts Bluff National Mounment. Got mint chip waffle cone. Loved it so much!

There will never be anything that can compare to champagne ice cream. Consistency in flavor along with hometown comfort makes the creamery the best place to go on any given day. My top 3 are champagne, blue moon and raspberry but you can never go wrong with a tin roof or even a banana split.
When I was 15 years old Ron gave me my very FIRST job working at the Creamery. What an amazing experience it was learning how to make the shakes, malts, banana splits & getting some strong bicepts scooping out that delicious home made ice cream to all the customers. It was so much fun seeing all the kids come in with their pockets full of change to buy the candy which was in BIG clear containers behind the counter. They would climb up on the front of the counter and have such a hard time deciding which candy they wanted. Those were some good times! It’s been almost ten years since I’ve been able to go back home and visit. I can’t wait to go back and visit next year!
Been going there since the 70's. Still the best ice cream in the nation. Worth the stop if you're passing thru. And if you live there, you already know that.
