We have been patrons to this restaurant for a few years now and can honestly say that their food is consistently outstanding. If you go I highly recommend the Don margarita, the nachos Chingones appetizer, which is the most tasty and delicious nachos I have ever had anywhere (it has pork and a delicious Oaxaca cheese that is superb). Their fish tacos in beer batter is fantastic and their Churros and ice cream for dessert is to die for. Always super tasty and way above expectations! Plus they have live music���
I was in town from Atlanta and my friend took me here. It was by far some of the best authentic Mexican tacos I’ve ever had. I would have eaten every meal here had we not had other places to try.

Our waitress was awesome last Saturday, super attentive. But the best part of the evening was opening the menu to see my beloved Chiles en Nogales that I had years ago and never forgot. I savored every last bite of that deliciousness. Barrio Queen is a toda madre indeed!
To be brief, I love this place. Everything about it is good, wait staff, drinks, and most of all excellent food. It’s my go-to place to eat.
Love this place. Food is very good and so are the margaritas. The atmosphere is colorful and the servers are friendly. We bring out of town guests here and they love it, too. Highly recommend Barrio Queen to everyone.

Always GR8! Servers and bartenders are excellent! Have never had bad food or service! Try the chicken sopes! Only $7 during happy hour! Don’t forget Taco Tuesdays! Prices are unexpectedly low considering it’s in the 5th Avenue area.
Its restaurant week and a friend and I had dinner. I had the vegetable chili rellenos as my main course and it was outstanding!! The elote appetizer was great! So was dessert. I will definitely be back! It's the best Mexican food I've had in a long time!
The food was very fresh, and gave good portions. I loved how they had a good selection for vegetarians and vegans. Great customer service! I would definitely eat at Barrio Queen again ���
The guacamole was great, as was the roasted corn and jalapeno margarita. The service was exceptional in every way, and made our evening wonderful. I wasn't a fan of the relleno or enchilada but I'm also no gourmet eater, so it is entirely a taste preference and not a reflection on the food. For what it's worth, people were happily eating everything on their tables.
Food was good, sever was very nice did his job well. Very packed. My kids loved the art all lover the walls made a fun experience for them. Didn't have a waiting, while we waited for our tables but other than that was a good experience staff was very helpful. Beet was cold and water tasted good. I will be going back.
Loved our meal at Barrio Queen. The margarita flight was fantastic with a wide variety of flavors. The premium tacos were all full of flavor. We also order the winter chicken tamal, which is we would not order again. The tamal was very light on any chicken.
I went in as a solo visitor. I sat at the bar. This is my second time eating and having a drink at this restaurant. Marco and Tianna were amazing bartenders. They recommended really good drinks and food. The food was excellent, and the service was phenomenal. I will be back each time I visit Scottsdale, AZ. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food and service were excellent. We had the Enchilada Trio and the Summer Shrimp Tacos. Both meals were great. The Guacamole appetizer was awesome! Barrio Queen is definitely a place we'll go back to again and again.
Hands down some of the best tacos I've had in my life. They were so accommodating with my no cilantro and lettuce shell. I ordered 3 different ones and inhaled the one before I took a photo. Each one tasted just as amazing as the other. There was so much flavor packed into them.
My bartender was professional, kind, held good conversation, and was very accommodating.
If I lived here, I wilt l would eat here all of the time.
Dinner while in Scottsdale. Our waiter was very good with recommendations and dietary needs. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. Margarita were good. Tacos were good but the tortillas were very good.
Simply, excellent tacos and an excellent tequila selection. I did not care for the chips that come with the salsa. They are too thick for my liking, but that's a personal choice so I only mention it, not to criticize the restaurant, but to let you know what to expect. But the service, tacos, and tequila made up for it!
It takes two 2 mango!!! Such a delicious drink and it was large. Guacamole is okay??? I like their twist but it felt like it was missing something. Overall, everyone enjoyed their meals!

First time here; now it's my favorite Mexican restaurant!
As soon as we arrived, the aroma of grilling made my mouth water. We started with cervezas and the made-at-tableside guacamole -- a delectable mix of avocado, garlic, tomato and onions -- topped with lots of fresh pomegranate, served with thick, crunchy corn chips. The char-grilled fajitas trio served as our main dish and was big enough to share! The meats were grilled to perfection: crispy and flavorful on the outside and tender inside.
We dined outside. Although it was busy, our server, Adrian, was very attentive and kept our glasses filled.
We loved the Dia de los Muertos decor and the restrooms were impeccably clean. Their slogan “comida a toda madre” doesn’t translate literally into English, but it refers “absolutely awesome food”. I agree! If you've never been here, please try it. This is a wonderful overall dining experience!
This place is not some Mexican restaurant with a standard Spanish name like “el toro” or “Pablo’s” What I mean by that is this is legit Mexican food. None of that overpriced straight out of a can garbage.
I ordered tacos: birria, shrimp, and al pastor. They were pretty tiny but were so good I had to order another round.
Very good food! I had the cochinita pibil and a margarita. Both were excellent!
