Absolutely a 5 star dinner and experience though some patrons could talk with a quieter tone. I dined on Chilean Sea Bass which was like butter on the palate. So light and fluffy.... delicious. My partner had duck and was delighted with his dinner; friend, Cindy had the Alaskan King Salmon, her's was so fresh( considering we are in AZ), it had a truly beautiful appearance that had the crispy top that segued into the soft texture of flaky, succulent salmon, also it melted with a rich buttery flavor . Dessert was chocolate lava cake that was shared washed down with delicious coffee. We will be returning ,soon!

We love coming to Chart House. The food and the service is on point and the location is perfect being right on the lakefront. I usually get the herb crusted prime rib or the sea bass, both are amazing dishes. They have a popular happy hour program with plates like tacos, sliders and shrimp.

I was looking for a place to take my husband for his birthday. We were recommended here. I made a reservation on Yelp for Saturday at 5:30 pm. There was a mix up and couldn’t find the reservation anywhere. So I panicked and picked a reservation for 7:15 even though that would be too late as we had other plans with family at 8 pm. I called and left a message I was not sure if I still had my original reservation. Left a voicemail. I missed the call from the manager Lauri. When I called back I talked to someone else who was not very empathetic. I was going to give up and just look for somewhere else to go last minute. I finally asked to speak to Lauri as she was the one who called. She told me that we were more than welcome to walk in and see if there was a table available or sit in the lounge. We were so thankful she told us that and didn’t just drive us away. There are many steak restaurants in Scottsdale to go to, we just wanted to try this one from recommendations. When we got there, we were only offered the lounge. It did seem there were other regular tables open. My husband thought the hostess seemed annoyed with us, I thought she was fine. She told us to pick any open spot in the lounge. But we were just happy to have a spot. The first table we sat in was uncomfortable for a meal, with low chairs which made you feel like a child at the big kids' table. but there was one table in the lounge that had regular chairs more suitable for a full dinner. I was freezing in there, we both wore our jackets the entire time. Our server was great, he was very busy so there was no chit-chat or anything like that. More just like “What can I get for you” which, is all he has to do haha. He managed to always have a drink in front of us and never kept us waiting for food. I wish I had gotten his name. Once the restaurant slowed down a bit he apologized for the service, but we thought he did a great job. He was very busy and we always had what we needed. We had an appetizer, each had dinner and a side. and two desserts. I had two drinks and my husband had 3. The only thing is we were never offered water and by the time I thought of it, we were done. I saw Laurie behind the bar making drinks, they were busy. I thanked her for letting us know about the lounge (which is also full-service service, a full menu). I’m happy the restaurant could still accommodate us, despite the lost reservation (probably my fault). We did want to sit by a window to see the water. But the lounge was fine. They didn’t do anything special for his birthday but we both loved the food. They have seafood options and delicious steaks. Which is helpful with my limited dietary restrictions. We will be back and recommend to people to double-check they have a reservation. Also being a jacket, I wore mine the entire time. It was cold. I wanted a picture on the way out and my husband didn’t want to bother the hostess, but I asked anyway. She was very sweet and took lots of pictures. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a birthday… if you’re looking for something that does something for a birthday, they don’t. Which is fine my husband is a grown man and doesn’t need anything written on his plate on his birthday. I was just a little disappointed. Overall, we will come back for a normal dinner and recommend this place. Everything was good. We will try for a window seat next time.

Dining at ChartHouse was such a good time. We had the pleasure of dining with the lovely friend. We were seated shortly after arriving and we had a beautiful view of the pond behind the restaurant. Our waiter was Vinny and he did a great job servicing us. Food that was ordered Kimichi Calamari as the appetizer The drink of the month was the Pink Lady, 10% of the proceeds goes to support Breast Cancer King Salmon entrée sauteed with pasta Clam Chowder was ordered but not received The calamari appetizer came out shortly after we ordered and was very delicious. Fresh and tender. We all ordered the same entree, which seemed like a long time for it to come out. When we received our food, everything was hot and the presentation was beautiful. The salmon was also fresh and seasoned well. The pasta was shredded and had vegetables mixed in. This was very very good. A nice treat at the end was a complimentary cheesecake dessert for E's birthday. Before we left, we saw that another table ordered the Filet Mignon. Talk about a beautiful piece of beef! The presentation of the Filet Mignon alone is what will have us back sooner rather than later. Also though we ordered the clam chowder was ordered and not received, but we were not charged.

We came for Happy Hour appetizers and dessert. I enjoyed the sliders, and the creme brulee samplers were excellent. We sat at the bar and the service was very good. We will return for Happy Hour!

I love their happy hour menu and the classy ambiance. For any occasion, the Chart House Prime Rib is the best in town. It's so perfect, they haven't changed the recipe in 50 years! 5 Stars!

Venue was great at sunset. It seemed to be understaffed as hostess was only up there and 2 small parties arrived and hostess was flustered. Not a busy night either. Our waitress was great, very friendly. Food was good but nothing spectacular.

We went to The Chart House to celebrate our Anniversary. It was a really nice experience. We were sat at a table with a great view. Our person was Greg. He is friendly and knowledgeable. All of our food came out just as it was ordered. Greg made sure we were not rushed. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I was really impressed with the restaurant. A group of 13 dined in for my friend bachelorette/ Bday celebration. They surprised us with the custom menu with her name and celebrations + a customized menu of 3 courses 😃. The food was delicious and top tier service

Celebrating our anniversary and chose The Chart house, GREAT DECISION. I made reservations online and was asked if celebrating anything, I shared it was our anniversary. They had our menus personalized w our name and Happy Anniversary. Also a card signed by staff. I order the filet w blue cheese butter, baked potato, my husband ordered New York steak ( very generous size) he said clam chowder was close to best he’s had . Our waiter was Vinny , he was very personable and made our night a absolute pleasure, we were seated by the window which overlooks a small lake and golf course. Great views. We arrived early for reservation so we enjoyed happy hour , which is very reasonable. I highly recommend The Chart House in Scottsdale! We will definitely be returning. Thanks again for making us feel special!

Went for the view and scenery, stayed for the food! Amazing views on the water, wish they would put more into outside seating with a patio and mist system…they had a small patio but not open. View from inside was still nice Service was excellent. The margaritas were excellent, food was excellent. Booths are extremely difficult ingress/egress due to fixed table that won’t move and is too large.

My husband made reservations for our anniversary. The food was very good. I ordered the chimichurri steak & shrimp and it was lovely. My husband ordered the prime rib, but 20 minutes or so later was told that they would likely run out of it, so that was a bummer. It didn't take long to get seated after arrival, however, my husband specified that he wanted a table with a view of the lake, due to the special occasion, and his request was not honored despite him being told it would. We also ordered an appetizer that never came, so that was disappointing as well. Service was a bit slow, likely due to every place being short staffed, but nothing unreasonable. Other than that, it was a very lovely evening.

Pretty good food for a steak house. Def had better. Only real issue was the guy coming around towards the end of our meal turning over chairs and using a market to fill in the scuffs on the legs with ar REALLY stinky permanent marker...wth for real?

The ambience and view here are beautiful especially for the holidays. The Kimchi Calamari was absolutely delicious. The entrees were just ok, bedsides the prime rib. All of the sides seems like they were probably made en mass & then plated out of a buffet tray. Service was very friendly and fast. I was impressed that that they had a good alcohol free mocktail menu.
