I come to this location when staying anywhere in the Phoenix area. I love this property it is in a great area. A lot of restaurants and activities are in this area to make your stay enjoyable. All employees are professional and willing to do whatever they can to make your stay successful. My special thanks to Robert (manager) and Kurt (at the outside desk) who have been helpful to me time and time again. Happy holidays to the whole staff at this property.
Just returned back from an amazing stay at the Westin Villas. We had a very professional and friendly check-in experience with Robert. He took his time giving us every detail we needed to know to enjoy our time on property. it was a GREAT 1st meeting with the Westin team. Our room was one of the recently renovated rooms on the property and it was very comfortable and nice in every way. We actually stayed on property for the entire 8 days and did not feel like we missed anything off property by not leaving. The pool and lounge areas were perfect for us and the Food & beverage/Pool team members made our stay most enjoyable. In fact, this group of professionals treated us better than any of our recent stays at many different brands. We need to highlight the following exemplary employees: Joe, Justin, Sierra, Daniela, & Katie (all at the pool). One night we were enjoying the lobby area and had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Lauren G. with F & B/Recreation. She is another great ambassador representing the Westin/Marriott Brand, very personable and knowledgeable. It was VERY hot with temperature between 105-113 degrees and the pool team made sure we had ample refills of delicious cold water throughout the day. We dined at the pool bar more than a few times and each meal was very tasty and well presented. The kitchen staff should be acknowledged! Lastly, the grounds were well maintained and we saw many employees doing landscaping work and power washing different areas to keep the grounds looking great. It takes teamwork and a good deal of pride to keep this property in great shape! We look forward to a return visit.
First time to Scottsdale! Didn't realize it could be hot in February. But the resort was awesome! We rented a car and drove all over Scottsdale. It is actually very conveniently located; we were recommended to visit a wildlife preserved and got the opportunity to feed lions! Ya - you heard that right! I was mesmerized, by the area, the animals, the people, the geography. Very dry - I guess it has to be; it's a desert! Very interesting experience for me.
It's my 1st day. Seems a little isolated...but fun property and the staff have been very helpful. They have a shuttle only until 4pm...Uber's are a little spendy since the property is far from Old Scottsdale and the casino. I will be spending a lot of time at the pool which looks very nice
Incredible service all week at the Villas. Great drinks and food also. I remember a bartender named Devon was great all week. I wish I could remember the other two that provided equally great service. Nick maybe was one of them?
We love this location. However for some reason they stuck us in a lockoff. Super small kitchen area without a range. But I needed a vacation more than I needed to complain. Fortunately I brought my Ninja Grill to be able to cook meals. So all and all I highly recommend the Kierland Villas
I was here for a business conference; besides the classrooms being freezing cold, the hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are nothing to write home about (unless you stay in the villas across the way), but they're nice, comfortable, and of course have the famous Marriott beds and bedding.
Super nice 1 and 2 bedroom style villas, all with kitchenettes and pull out sofas. Multiple on-site pools with kid friendly activities daily. Also includes access to main Westin Kierland pools with lazy river and surf pool.
We go here every spring training season!

Incredible staff. Extremely clean rooms. Comfy bed, great sleep. You get full access to all that the main hotel offers.
Simply a great place to stay. Would love to go back when it's cooler. One hundred 10 degrees each day was a bit much! 🫠
Westin never disappoints! I’m going to start off by saying the suites are incredible, clean, modern, and cozy. Very nice rooms, would stay again. The service is amazing, and assisted me with my questions or concerns. The amenities this resort has to offer is INCREDIBLE. So many different pools, mini golf, basketball, ping pong, chess, checkers, a play area, and an amazing wave pool that you wouldn’t see anywhere else. The kids will love it. The location is amazing, right by the Kierland commons which has so many shops to go around. Many restaurants. This is the ultimate Westin and doesn’t disappoint at all. Definitely staying next time I’m in Phoenix!
Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at The Westin Kierland Villas in Scottsdale, AZ, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with kindness and hospitality by the staff, the resort's dedication to creating a family-friendly atmosphere definitely impressed us. The staff really deserves immense praise. They were welcoming, warm, and provided an exceptional level of service. We felt valued by their attentiveness, friendliness, and most importantly always being available.
Their commitment to catering to families and kids was evident in every aspect of our stay. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The villa we stayed in was very well-appointed with tons of amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer, which was a godsend for kids who spend most of their day in the pool. The resort's pools, slides, lazy river, hot tubs, and other water features provided hours of entertainment. The lazy river and slides were definitely their favorites.
The menu and cocktail options at the pool were great, but hands down the kids' favorite always seemed to be the Dippin Dots! The perfect treat for a cool down. The pool staff was very friendly and attentive. There are plenty of pool options from cabanas to daybeds to numerous umbrellas perfectly placed around the pool so that you can comfortably watch your kiddos from the shade.
Lastly, I cannot overlook the picturesque surroundings of the resort. Our room was on the 3rd floor in the Villas overlooking the golf course. The views were breathtaking and very tranquil. I sincerely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable vacation or staycation in Scottsdale, AZ.

We had a great experience here! Our family of four had two adjoining villas - 2 bedroom suite. Overall, the concierge, Kris, and the rest of the employees were kind and helpful. Especially to help us choose activities in the area. Great walking proximity to restaurants & stores. The adult pool was very nice and we could always find a chair. Would definitely stay here again!
For the most part, our stay here was very good, dare I say excellent. I loved our view of the mountains and desert 🏜. It was my 1st time in scottsdale and it's very different than what I'm used to. We had a nice and modern kitchen, living area, bedroom and a huge bathroom. There are 2 different floors and But it's a very nice place, I would say the food isn't as good but the grounds makes up for it. You can shop at the nearest grocery store and cook your own food. Lots of shopping and golf and swimming to do.
Really nice place. Staff is very helpful and patient. Rooms are furnished nicely, there's a frieplace (nice touch). Bath has a large jetted tub and spacious separate shower. Pools, golf course, etc. It's Scottsdale, very nice! Tons of shopping nearby, and there is a shuttle to some venues. There are tons of things to do locally, great restaurants close by, and a lovely resort if you just want to relax.
Really enjoyed the 24/7 hot tub and the free access to their spa steam room and sauna. The front desk staff was really friendly helpful. The resort also let us use their facilities all day on our checkout day. The lazy river at their sister resort nextdoor was also spectacular, which is free to access for guests here. The resort grounds are also beautiful with many different types of cacti all over.
This is a great place to stay. There are four pools to choose from and it's very spread out has a nice golf course the staff is very friendly and go out of the way to help you out. I have a nice convenience store and the frozen yogurt machine actually works which is definitely a perk. There are tons of restaurants on this property and they are all very good. At 6:00 you can watch a bagpipe player play which is pretty interesting and pretty much a fantastic view from the lobby
