Great place for a quick bite! We went early, before 8am, and got lucky with no line. Soon after leaving there was a queue so keep that in mind!
We got the curry chicken rice and the beef and onions and both were good! I preferred the curry and my partner preferred the beef. For me, the beef was too finely minced and lacked texture. For him, he wanted a stronger curry flavor.
Overall we would return to try out all the other piroshky!
Highly recommend for early morning breakfast to avoid waiting in line! The bacon, hashbrown, egg and cheese pastry was my favorite. The smoked salmon pate tastes similar to bagel and lox especially with dill flavoring. The beef and cheese tastes like a meat pie. There's no seating so we took our pastries to eat in the public seating areas within pike place market.
If you like croissants and savory bread, this is the right place to go.
As it is one of the famous places in Pike Place, expect long queue. However, you don’t have enough time to wait queue, there’s other Piroshky Piroshky in Seattle.
I tried Smoked Salmon Pate, Beef & Cheese and Beef & Onion. Out of all three, I enjoyed the Beef & Onion the most and would recommend it.
Last but not least, they do not accept tap or Apple pay, so bring actual credit card or cash.

Piroshky Piroshky appears on most lists of F&B places to visit in Seattle and hence we couldn’t give it a miss. We tried the Salmon Pate, Beef & Cheese and Ocean’s star (sweet), all of which were really good.
Always expect a queue in the morning as this place quite famous among tourists & residents.
All in all a very nice place to have breakfast to start your sightseeing day around Seattle
There was a long line when we arrived but the lines moves very quickly. It was cash only when we visited. The salmon pate was a little dry but the bread is very soft. The beef and cheese was tasty and reminded me of Asian beef baos. The sweet cream cheese on the Oscar star was very good. The pastry is flaky and a little crunchy. This place was worth the visit.
This bakery is worth the wait!! We were hesitant because of the long line up but the line moves quite quickly and waiting time wasn’t too bad thanks to the efficient cashiers. We bought a signature salmon pastry and a beef and onion patty. There’s a generous portion of stuffing in each pastry. You can taste the freshness of salmon and cream cheese filling in the salmon pastry. The been n onion filling is also nicely sautéed with sweetness of onion. We will be back for more. I’m looking forward to try some sweet pastry next time.
Family owned Russian bakery serving the eponymous classic eastern European pastries since 1992. The handmade pastries are baked fresh daily using traditional eastern European recipes and are delicious. Available in both sweet and savory and even have a couple of vegetarian/vegan filling options like potato and mushroom or Impossible beef and onion. Would recommend for a flavorful and authentic experience.
Fun little pastry spot at Pike Place. Of the pastries I bought some were tasty some were not but it was great to finally try.
There’s always a massive line ESPECIALLY on weekends. You can look through the windows and see what they’re baking process is like while you wait in line.
Apple cinnamon roll and cheddar cheese garlic roll were delicious. Worth the long line, it moves pretty fast. Be sure to get there early as items sell out, we really wanted to try the marzipan roll but was sold out by 11am :(
Don't get discouraged by the long line! The line was to the street and the employees were running people through so quickly it only took 15 minutes. We got the cheddar garlic roll, which was my favorite, so flaky and flavorful and still warm. We also got the beef and cheddar and unfortunately I can not remember the name of the sweet one, but they were both amazing. The sweet cream on the sweet one isn't overpoweringly sugary, more cream cheese icing like than butter cream if that isn't your thing
Love their savory flavors! I got the smoked salmon and potato cheese, and both of them were delicious! The bread is very soft and pairs perfectly with the filling.
The first time I passed by the store, there was a long line. The second time I passed by was before noon, and there were only a few people! I was lucky that I didn't need to wait that long. But whether there's a line or not, it's worth the wait!
This bakery has multiple high quality items. There is a line outside. I see roughly 20 people in front of me and it took me 15-20 mins to get in my turn, so, it’s not that crazy.
Smoked Salmon is good. Fresh and savory salmon stuffed in a chewy bread.
Beef and cheese is an interesting experience. I was expecting something similar to a cheesesteak within a bread, but the cheese part is something different. It still taste good.
Chocolate and Hazelnut Roll is my favorite. I don’t usually enjoy sweet stuff but this one is just so good.
There are so many items on the menu and I guess I will return for Oscar Star.
Coming from Eastern European descent, piroshky will always have a special place in my heart, and sometimes outside of Brooklyn NY it gets difficult to find quality, properly made piroshky. When I took my first bite but the meat and onion option, I instantly had a flashback to my grandmothers kitchen. The line is sometimes long, but moves quick. My recommendation is to stick to the most popular options, as those seemed to be the classic fillings. They do get a little fun with their options. Will definitely stop by for a morning bite the next time I’m around.
We got curious to check out this place since the line was so long especially on weekends. We tried the chicken curry and rice patty and chocolate cream hazelnut roll. Taste were average but it’s worth trying it.
Plenty of options for vegetarians. I recommend veggie chipotle (vegan option), potato and cheese and the cheddar garlic roll. Be prepared for long lines. Service here is pretty fast.
I can't say Anthony Bourdain was the sole reason that I visited, but he was a heavy influence. I remember watching an episode of No Reservations where he had visited Seattle, and I remember him stopping by Piroshky Piroshky. I figured I might as well stop by while visiting and was very happy that I did. In 2017, when I visited there was a pretty steady, but moving, line at the place and I don't recall having to wait more than a few minutes to order. As for the menu, there were plenty of sweet and savory options. I got the salmon and a cardamom one. I'm going off of memory, so the menu may have changed. If you are in the area, pay them a visit. It's worth it.
Everything is so good every time.
I would recommend beef and cheese and the Potato and cheese one.
There is a line most of the time so be ready to wait around 5 minutes on weekdays and 10-15 minutes on a weekend.
They don’t have Apple/Google pay and have a card or cash ready!
