Amazing place with excellent service and very good food. I went there to meet some friends when I wasn’t hungry at all. Saw how they were making dumplings and just couldn’t help it and ordered one portion. Finished all 10 in a couple of minutes. They were sooooo good! Very recommended.

The food was great as was the service. Even though the restaurant was pack we didn't have too long off a wait. Watching as the kitchen staff prepped the food was interesting and you knew it was fresh. Can't wait to visit family in Seattle so we can eat hear again.

It’s as good as you can get from the original Dintaifung, I know, I ate regularly in the original shop long long time ago when they only had one shop in Taipei.

I love this place! The menu is so massive and I love trying new items each time I go. Whatever you do, save room for dessert and get the chocolate xiao long bao!

Best Xiao Long Bao! Outside dough slightly al dente as it is supposed to be. Soupy inside as it’s supposed to be! All our dishes were served piping hot and spaced in time for maximum enjoyment!

This is a great place to eat for a special event or group. We were able to get in within a short period as a walk up (I would recommend having reservations rather than walking up though). There is a viewing window out front that can be seen from the mall area to watch them roll out the dough and is impressive. We went with someone that had been to other locations of this restaurant otherwise we may have been unprepared to order. They were very willing to help us order.

The food here is spectacular! There was over an hour wait, but we were able to get seats at the bar. We had the chicken spicy wontons ... excellent. The green beans are phenomenal. I know, it's a green bean, but trust me on this. We also had the chicken dumplings. *I will say though, I found it weird that the hostess said "Our A/C is broken so it's hot". I went inside, and yes, it was hot. We decided to stay, however. I then asked the server about this and he said "The A/C hasn't worked in three years"!!! I sincerely hope that management isn't telling the host to say this because that is deceiving. It was 85 degrees inside, by the way.

Always book ahead when coming here. They are always busy specially for dinner and the weekend. There’s a reason why, coz their food is good!!!! Our server was Ashleigh she was attentive and very knowledgeable about the food they serve. She gave us a few recommendations and we did not regret it. Try their strings beans, beef braised soup, chocolate XLB, cucumber salad, and more they were all so good!

It has been on my list to try Din Tai Fung as I don’t have this back home. Overall a great meal with great service, but not the most authentic. Best dishes by far were the spicy wontons and garlic green beans.

I was very looking forward to trying this famous Taiwanese chain. The food was quite underwhelming. Nothing really stood out. Quite average. The soup dumpling didn’t have a kick, the beef noodle, which is a classic Taiwanese dish, was quite weak. The other dishes were very normal. I expected to try much better food, especially being so popular, and the line being almost 1 hour.

We ended up eating here twice during our trip. I highly recommend a reservation just to avoid the risk of a long wait. Location is in what feels like a deserted mall…not much to do if you need to wait. The restaurant is kid friendly and the staff is excellent. I highly recommend the noodles with spicy sauce and chocolate dumplings, I would SKIP the veg dumplings (no taste).

The dumplings are more than excellent. I like the variety of fillings. Do not hesitate to order the sweet ones for dessert. Expect a wait or better make a reservation.

Wow! This was an amazing meal. Everything was prepared perfectly. Every vegetable was very fresh. Service was very fast and helpful. Soup, dumplings and so much more good food. Chocolate and Mochi dessert is amazing.

Insanely good (as Din Tai Fung always is) - super authentic, fresh, and high quality soup dumplings & other dishes. Everything we got was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The green beans and pork XLBs are a must-order, and the chocolate XLBs for dessert are out of this world. Perfection in a meal - just a consistent 10/10. Make sure to get a reservation in advance to avoid a wait!

We did a reservation just in case since we were going at lunch time. It’s a good thing we did since they can get busy. The restaurant was clean, the staff was attentive, and prices are the same at other locations. Food quality was good. I’ve been to the Vegas and Taipei locations, Taipei is the best. This location you can’t go wrong with ordering. Get the xiao long baos, dumplings, and spicy wonton.
