Always wonderful food. My go to place on layovers in SEA. Lovely owners as well. The lokum is the best!
I live in Anchorage, AK and I haven't had a proper donor since the last time I was in Germany, several years ago. When my wife and I stumbled upon this place last weekend, we just had to try them out! Thankfully we did! The pita was fresh, the chicken was spiced deliciously, fresh veggies and great sauce! I would happily go back the next time I am in Seattle.
Timur and I went to Turkish delight for afternoon Turkish coffee. They served with #lokum and glasses of water. It was so yummy and tasty, just like at home. Thanks to Semra and Deniz for hospitality.
Whenever we visit Seattle we go to Turkish Delight - especially for the yellow lentil soup which is delicious, perfectly spiced, and served with fresh pita bread. The pistachio baklava is excellent. Finally, a little box of Turkish Delight squares to go is a must too. Very friendly service!
If you're going to be in Seattle, you've got to stop by Turkish Delight. It's a very nice restaurant where everyone welcomes you with a smile. They have the best real Turkish Delight I've had in the states.
I loved the pastry and salad. Location service and atmosphere are all flawless.
Everything was super delicious, thank you for good friendly service!!!! ( yummy lentil soup, chicken and baklava )
Real Turkish coffee and pistachio baklava?! YES PLEASE! My go to every time I come to the city.
Great coffee and baklava, and especially Semre and her husband.
Love the food and the owners! I'll keep coming back.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. Truly a gem of an experience. Their baklava is fantastic and the Turkish delight is good as well. The Turkish Coffee was spot on, rich and flavorful and served piping hot as it should be! Skip the line at Starbucks up the block and get a good cup of coffee here, it is worth the stop.
I recently dined at Turkish Delight, a charming restaurant nestled in Pike Place, Seattle. My visit was prompted by a craving for Turkish coffee, and I must say, it was truly amazing.
However, my culinary adventure didn't stop there. The lamb stew and rice pilaf caught my eye, and I couldn't resist trying them. The flavors were nothing short of exquisite.
To complement my meal, I ordered the lentil soup, which was rich and flavorful, and the baklava, which was out of this world. The perfect sweet ending to a delightful meal.
Oh, and I can't forget to mention the delightful surprise I received at Turkish Delight. Along with my coffee, they graciously offered me some Turkish sugar candy as a complimentary treat. It was simply amazing – a sweet, melt-in-your-mouth indulgence that perfectly complemented the coffee. This small gesture of hospitality added an extra layer of charm to my dining experience at this wonderful restaurant.
What truly elevated my dining experience was the warmth and attentiveness of the restaurant owner and server. They not only guided me through the menu but also prepared my food with evident love and care. Their hospitality added a personal touch to the meal, making it even more memorable.
Additionally, Turkish Delight boasts a wonderful view just outside the restaurant. The option to order takeout and savor the delectable dishes while gazing at the mesmerizing Puget Sound is a true bonus. It's the perfect place to combine a fantastic meal with a scenic experience, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists alike.
Turkish Delight is a hidden gem in Pike Place, offering not only delicious Turkish cuisine but also a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. I can't wait to return and explore more of their culinary delights.
Incredible quality. Small business. Precious family. You can really tell they care about each and every dish they serve. I had the vegetarian sandwich and was eating myself into a coma from how large and delicious it was! They consistently offered samples of their Turkish delight which was so kind. I highly recommend this place. I will be back!
The lamb stew is delightful. Had baklava (one pistachio, one walnut), a piece of turkish delight, and a coffee to complete my meal - delicious! Service was absolutely wonderful, I felt so welcomed! Don't be deterred by the long lines - it is well worth the wait.
I recently visited Turkish Delight and was blown away by the delicious food and fantastic service. I ordered the chicken doner sandwich and it was absolutely amazing - juicy and flavorful with perfectly cooked meat and a delicious sauce. The Turkish delights on the side were a wonderful touch and added a great burst of sweetness to my meal.
The service at Turkish Delight was equally impressive. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure that my dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and helped me choose the perfect dishes to try.
Overall, I would highly recommend Turkish Delight to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience. The food is delicious, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. If you’re at pike place market I’d definitely recommend making a stop here!
amazing food! Got the lamb stew, it is rich in flavor and can be split between two people if eaten with pita bread :)
Will definitely come back 💗
The food is always fresh and always delicious. The lamb stew might be one of my favorite meals in Seattle. Today I got turkish coffee, rose turkish delight, and pistachio baklava. All of them were amazing. The perfect pick me up on a drizzly wet day. A must whenever I visit the market.
Right at Pike Place Market you guys will find this gem of a restaurant. I discovered this place through a food tour and out of all the places that day, their lentil soup was what stuck with me throughout the day. Two days later I decided to check the place out again. I just arrived right after they closed but they were so kind in still letting me in and helping me out. Their service is always so phenomenal. Once again, their lentil soup is what made my day. Thank you for the great service and the amazing food. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.
First time I’ve had Turkish delight here, and it’s pretty good! We got the kebab sandwich and baklava, both were very good. The two ladies that were working were very friendly - easily 5 stars!
It was calm, refreshing and a lovely little place. The lentil soup had a wonderful coating mouthfeel, with terrific flavors from the seasonings. The kebab was a marvelous balance of flavors and very bright with the sauce and fresh vegetables. The baklava with very deep in layers of sweetness while carrying forward the flavor of the hazelnut and pistachio masterfully. Cannot wait to go again!
