Well seasoned food! I went with a very large group (+20 people - dinner after a wedding rehersal!), so we were the only ones in the restaurant, which was a unique experience! The waitstaff was very attentive and the wait time wasn't too bad, considering that we were a large group. I really enjoyed my chicken entree and the people around also seemed to enjoy their food. The hummus was quite addicting too! Also, there were some vegetarians in the group and they seemed to have be probably accommodated for with their dietary restrictions. One potential critique - everyone who got the salmon either didn't finish or didn't like it so that may be one of their weaknesses. Overall, I was pretty satisfied and would consider coming back here if I was in Seattle.
Not a bad spot, food is very tasty, but prices are high and nearby Tanoor is a bit better for the same price in my opinion. That being said, it’s still worth stopping here.
Came here with a few friends on a Friday, the place was a bit emptier than I expected. The servers were very kind, but service was a bit on the slow side.
I ordered the Zahra cauliflower to start. I have to say, this was delicious, and I thought it was better than Tanoor’s cauliflower. It was very fresh, perfectly air fried, and the tahini sauce on top was really tasty. It was served on a bed of fresh lettuce and tomatoes, and I could tell they were really high quality as the tomatoes were sweet and juicy.
Next I got the Chicken Shawarma. They were out of basmati rice so they replaced it with saffron rice, I thought it was still tasty. It came as a large plate essentially with just chicken, rice, and sauce with some onions and seasonings.
I found the sauce to be a little bit on the heavy side, but the flavors were still good and enjoyable.
Overall, I thought it was tasty, maybe I got the wrong main, but for an appetizer and main it’s easily over $35 a person.
I’d still recommend this place! It was a good experience.
Great place and great food.
The service is a bit slow, but is worth it.
Dishes are very generous! So be mindful when ordering.
We ordered the Mezza and the Lamb shawarma and they both where great. Food is delicious and fresh.
Absolutely fantastic Mediterranean restaurant!
The owner has an incredible knowledge of Mediterranean food.... Garlic cardamom, unbelievable!
Miriam can work the restaurant with style. We started with stuffed grape leaves, some of the best ever! I got the mixed kabob plate and it was like nothing I've ever had. My wife got the gyros plate and it was absolutely fantastic. We took a to go of baklava and can't wait to dig in!
Fresh and delicious Lebanese food in a warm, modern setting. There are two dining areas, one with a full bar. The food was amazing and the best I've had in Seattle. Flavors are authentic and portions are just the right size. The garlic sauce goes well on everything. Courteous and friendly staff.
You know me, I don’t give out 5 stars lightly but here I am.
Clean place. Great service. Delicious food. Fantastic prices.
The owner is the chef and the pride shows on the quality and quantity.
The baklava was out of this world. All the meat was tender. Spiced perfectly. Sigh
Go here. You’ll like it too!
It’s my first time to consume a Mediterranean cuisine, I don’t really like its flavour but it’s not the restaurant’s fault. For someone likes that flavour, I think it’s pretty good in cooking them. And the servers are very nice since we were hurrying for a show on that day, and she just let us in and put us in the order list, the cook also did it very fast since it was the crowded time. Thanks for the serving!
Place is small but beautiful. Staff is friendly and kind. Parking is difficult but if you don't mind walking it is worth the wait. Ordered Beef Kabab, and Lamb. The lamb was perfectly seasoned and the beef was cooked to medium well. Took a little bit of time to get the food out. Portions I would say are generous, I couldn't exactly finish mine. Store is owned by a local family and is not a chain. I love these smaller mom and pop stores.
On October 20 we had an unbelievable meal at Marion. The portions were all generous and SO tasty. The server, Sammy, ( I think?), was an outstanding attentive and helpful person. The atmosphere was great. Outstanding experience before the opera.
Great Mediterranean cafe with an excellent selection of Lebanese dishes (and other offerings). Super friendly people.
It gets super busy on event days so make a reservation.
We ate a variety of meat and vegetable dishes (to share) and everything was amazing. We had a great evening and since we were there early on a non-event day we were able to spend a little time talking with the owner. Very nice guy with fun stories.
Definitely we'll go again!
I've been twice, had the Gyros that was incredible, then I had the Djej Meshwi which wasn't seasoned to my personal taste, but was still good, I ate it all (2/3 of it in leftovers as there was so much.) Great hummus, and the hummus delight was so good I probably had too much of it which would explain the leftovers later. I love the rice. Only thing is, it gets loud in there and as a quiet person it was difficult for me to talk with who I was dinning with. Quick service, which is but one time had plenty of time until our show so we were hoping it'd take longer, lol. Been twice, most likely will go again and would recommend.
We've been coming to this place for years, before the pandemic it had a different name (and maybe another owner, I don't remember the details), but the chicken wings special plate is what keeps us coming back. We didn't like the wine list or that we didn't get pita with either appetizer (Zahra/cauliflower) or main courses. Also, be aware that the location close to the opera house means that waits can be long on event days.
Amazingly delicious flavorful soft juicy chicken in the Shish Tawook that I ordered. Generally I find mediterranean dishes too "dry" but this was different. It had the right amount of meat, rice, sauces, and flavor. You cannot go wrong with this dish. Tasted great the next day as well as a leftover. Will be back here to get it again.
We also ordered a veggie platter which is suitable for a vegan or vegetarian person. Tasted pretty nice.
Service was quick. No frills. Great place for a casual dinner.
So happy to have found this place. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. I had the Djej Meshwi. So good. We will definitely go back and try more.
It was not packed. Staff was great and super friendly.
The place is a bit small, but cute. It's lacking a bit of ambiance. That being said, it's a great local if seeing a show.
Also, I LOVED the food. I had the Metta as a dinner and was in heaven! It's not enough for me to go to Seattle for it alone, but DEF worth going to if in the area!
Service was fantastic and food was well seasoned, just didn't taste as fresh as I would have hoped. Still would go back again though!
