We went here primarily to try their burrito grande aka baby burrito. At 14.5$ this is an amazing treat, great portion size and good taste. We took the tofu one which was more than filling. We also got the prawn and fish( tilapia) tacos. The tacos were okay. We got the chipotle chicken from the plates section and that was also very tasty. Definitely something I would recommend.
Incredible authentic Mexican food with an eclectic hole-in-the-wall vibe!
We came here as a pitstop before the Zoo and Seattle sights, and could not have landed a better lunch. The service was very friendly, the food was top-notch (we had the Pollo Asado plate to share), and the sit in atmosphere is super fun.
Will come again for sure
Authentic Mexican flavor. The chicken wet burrito was delicious. but be careful, despite asking for the normal size I was only able to eat half of it. The horchata is also really tasty.
A good spot for huge burritos. My friends and I are about 2/3 of our food. The horchata here was pretty good. The meat inside the burrito was okay, wish it was salsa rather than tomato chunks. Good overall.
Gorditos has quickly become my go-to spot in Seattle, serving up some of the best burritos you'll ever taste - and they're as big as newborn babies! Their wet shrimp burrito is a marvel to behold, packed full of flavors that are nothing short of a culinary delight. One burrito easily stretches to three meals, making it a fantastic value for the quality you receive.
I love visiting this family-owned gem, as it's refreshingly unpretentious and warm. The vibrant color palette of the walls adds to the inviting atmosphere, making each visit a joy. Their menu is filled with delicious options that cater to a variety of palates. But the star of the show has to be their handmade salsas - each one is a masterpiece, adding a perfect kick to your meal.
In a city filled with dining choices, Gorditos stands out. It's a testament to the passion and dedication of its owners. If you're in Seattle and haven't tried Gorditos yet, you're missing out. Can't wait for my next visit!
Gorditos is such a gem. As other reviews have mentioned, there is great value that comes with their infant sized burritos. In addition to the fresh flavors (Mexican food is traditionally healthy) the brown rice/black beans are a great addition. The real star? The Chipotle salsa. So much flavor and the best salsa I’ve in Seattle. I will be going back and trying their breakfast burritos and tofu options.
We ordered burritos to go with a side of pan-fried potatoes, and got an amazing amount of delicious food for what we paid! It's an especially great spot if you're a vegetarian looking for a family Mexican restaurant to frequent. They have so many options!
A Greenwood institution. Baby-sized burritos (don't worry-they offer smaller sizes too), stuffed with a choice of either meat or vegetarian fillings. Not the most cozy or inviting dining experience, but the furniture has been updated to bright new picnic tables. Tasty salsas and sides, but in the post-Covid era, served as individual portions than a family-style salad bar. And it's a great value too!
Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. Huge burrito at a good price. took some home for the next day and only cost ~$13
I have been coming here for over 20 years and it’s always friendly staff and great food. A Seattle staple!
The restaurant is super casual like eating at a friends house/backyard. I personally love the laid back feeling and no frills/no attitude here.
Always filling and yummy! Definitely go hungry! Generous portions! Support local small biz 💓
Definitely tied for the best burrito I've had in Seattle. Food was large, quickly prepared, and absolutely delicious. Definitely will be going out of my way to go here again.
We've been wanting to try Gordito's for so long, and really enjoyed it! Food is simple, no frills. Would definitely recommend getting your burrito "wet" and was pleasantly surprised by the range of vegetarian options.
Food was great, so were the prices ! One thing I would suggest is to get food to go as opposed to in person. The cutlery is flimsy and makes it hard to cut into a burrito. The plates are also a bit thin. Overall amazing food for the price !
