Surprising boutique bakery in the middle of the industrial neighborhood of Seattle in Sodo. I love this place! I’ve never had anything bad, ever! I especially love the little mango popovers that they have. My favorite bread is Giuseppe bread.
Came in for a pick-me-up after changing time zones. This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I’m so glad she suggested it. I had the CATE sandwich and a vanilla latte with oat milk. Both hit the spot. A great welcome to Seattle.
They have sweet and savory baked goods. We got sandwiches and chicken pot pie. They were very tasty.
Servers are friendly and cheerful. There are counter with bar stalls and tables for dine in.
The shop is small but has a high ceiling, so that feels like nice vibes.
Street parking available. It may be difficult parking when there is a game or event going on at the stadium.
Always love this bakery. Their cinnamon rolls are my favorite! Today enjoyed one of the breakfast sandwiches and a latte!
Very friendly service. We took a chicken pot pie and a chocolate crunch cake along with 16oz of mocha. The total was 24$.
However, they were good quantity and we were so full we had leftovers.
The ambience is amazing and the service too.
The barista was extremely friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend 5his cafe.
My hubby and I've been here many times and love all bakeries and Sandwiches even drinks. We parked cross street and walked in the store. We bought espresso and pastrie this time and headed to the DT Seattle event. If you come here, you should come in the morning. Last time I came in the afternoon, there weren't many items in the bakery.
Great bakery branch with excellent service! Airy and spacious seating. Fantastic organic Skagit sourdough with crispy and lightly burnt spelt crust (perfectly balanced flavors)! Delicious, fresh, but not overly sweet Blueberry & Nectarine pie. Grilled cheese made with Beecher’s on Rustic potato was also very tasty. Brunch offerings on weekends looked appetizing and we look forward to trying more items in the future.
Coffee was local and well crafted. They have amazing cinnamon rolls, flaky and puffy versus dense. Decent selection of vegan pastries(chocolate Muffin, chocolate cookie, scone).
The breakfast sandwich was fine, but the ham wasn't my favorite.
Macrina bakery has a cozy urban atmosphere with super friendly staff. They greeted me as I walked in and gave me some menu suggestions for my first time. I had no expectations, as I just drove by and decided to check it out when I saw it. The breakfast sandwich I had, was packed full of flavor and really savory (Bialy Egg Sandwich). I had the drip coffee black, and it meshed well with the pecan sticky bun pastry. To boot, prices did not break the bank! It's also a very chill place to work remote. I might make this a regular spot to get away from some of the tech hustle and bustle!
COVID-19 delivery. Fantastic! The breakfast sandwich didn’t disappoint having a moist biscuit, well textured and flavored sausage and perfectly complimented cheese. We sampled a couple slices of the bread and these too were expertly balanced, not allowing the banana or orange flavors to overwhelm as is so often the case. Added to my list of delicious early morning go-to places in the Seattle area.
