Amazing place, great food and music, the owners and staff are wonderful, it's just magical. <3 4 eva.
Good food and fun atmosphere, in the middle of hopping Capitol Hill. We had a group of 5 on a busy Saturday night and they had an opening on Open Table. My friend had mentioned this place before so I thought I'd give it a try.
Good food and good service. I would recommend it to everyone.
Amazing breakfast, I had the French Country breakfast with brisket and confit duck and it was EXACTLY what I pictured in my mind. Service was top notch and the latte was creamy and dreamy! Keep up the good work!
Excellent food and drinks! Great service and an awesome atmosphere!
I cant wait to go back.
We ordered a little of everything, a couple of specialty coffees were ordered and were great, also in our party we ordered a salad, bruleed grapefruit, the chicken sandwich, the burger, the country french breakfast and three different desserts. EVERYTHING was OUTSTANDING.
Great vibe, absolutely brilliant server. One of the best coffee's i have had anywhere in my travels around the world. Despite being short on time, this place was easy to get lost in the atmosphere and good food/drink!
My niece lived walking distance and she took me there for brunch. It was busy but it was worth the wait. My niece enjoyed our brunch.... I love their coffee! Went there again on my own for breakfast. Delightful!
The Doctor's Order is a ridiculously delicious cocktail. I don't like melted cheese or mac and cheese, but both the grilled cheese and the vegan mac with special-ordered Mama Lil's peppers are stupidly good. The Brie appetizer is worth every penny.
What a great grouo of staff and excellent food! Made this Canadian GingerBear feel so welcome. Until next time!
I have the pleasure of going here frequently because of my work. Great coffee, great pastries, great food and great service. It is located in one of the busiest corners of Seattle so I highly recommend ubering to the place.
Great people and service! We didn’t really eat but a good time at the bar!
I love this place! Great food and great atmosphere!
Love the atmosphere, excellent food (we had the French Country breakfast), Bloody Mary are delicious (ask for the infused vodka) and they do latte art (big bonus!!)
Favorite pastries and cocktails on the hill, it’s perfect
The waitress we had was super pretty and sweet! I loved the happy hour menu.
I had the most amazing birthday get-together here over the weekend. Yuki is so accommodating and sweet. The staff and food are amazing. You must go here!
Very enjoyable and safe patio dining experience! Service was great, and their covered street patio setup has space heaters. Still dress warm, but it wasn’t as chilly as some spots. We highly enjoyed the halloumi dish, and the tomato basil soup was so fresh and tasty. Generous portion sizes as well. We had to wait a bit for a table, but the service was very speedy once we were sat. Highly recommend all around!
This is definitely a must try. This is my first time and I absolutely loved the place. They have nice outdoor seating with cozy indoor dining as well. I tried the bagel with salmon and a scone. Both were very good. My wife took the pettirosso basic. I really liked the cappuccino with the scone. The staff was super friendly and would definitely come back again.
We ordered pastries and drinks and breakfast/brunch menu items. We sat in the outdoor tent seating, and our server was nice and helpful. Food was good, with large serving sizes. That tarts were delicious.
First time trying this restaurant. The menu looks good. We ordered tofu vegies scramble w/ curry sauce and toast and steak sandwich. Pretty good food. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes.
My experience at Cafe Pettirosso was very pleasant. From the person taking your name down fornthe wait list to the server, all was done efficiently and with a smile. I ordered the breakfast grilled cheese with eggs and caramelized onions and a side of fries. Both cooked.to perfection. Perhaps more onions in the sandwich would have been ideal. The garlic aiolo did not overpower the fries. The coffee was well brewed and arrived at a great temperature. Overall, an excellent experience that I would recommend you to try. Excellent brunch choice.
Overall my experience at Pettitrosso was very enjoyable. I had a grapefruit mimosa, perfectly balanced, in an appropriately gigantic wine glass which made me feel very fancy. My husband ordered the "Bartender's Breakfast" cocktail, a delicious concoction of cold brew and alcohol topped with an orange peel twist. The flavor on its own is fantastic, and the garnish adds an interesting citrus aromatic that I didn't initially thing would mesh with a creamy, coffee cocktail.
We also ordered a couple shareables, a jalapeno cheddar scone and a bruleed grapefruit. The scone was good, though I would have gone for more jalapeno- overall decent flavor but lacking any standout punchiness. The bruleed grapefruit was good, though the brulee didn't add much except aesthetic. I did particularly appreciate the little touch of serving it with a grapefruit spoon!
For the main meal I ordered the croque madame, which I had mixed feelings about. For one, it's an open-faced sandwich on baguette bread, which presented challenges with actually cutting into it. I'm also just not a big fan of open-faced sandwiches in general. They also replaced the traditional ham on a croque madame with turkey, and I couldn't help thinking while I was eating how much better it would be with ham. The turkey was somehow overpowering of other flavors and underwhelming. The baguette bread was delicious, as was the gruyere cheesiness with perfectly cooked eggs on top. It's unfortunate I couldn't quite get past the turkey and strange serving method to fully enjoy the meal.
Overall my impression is that it's a solid brunch restaurant with variations on traditional themes, with some working together better than others.
First time in Seattle and this was the first place we decided to try. It was a great decision! The food was absolutely delicious and the coffee tasted amazing! The atmosphere was very friendly, as were the employees. I will definitely be coming back here on my next trip to Seattle, because sadly there's no location in Chicago.
The tomato soup is great taste for its rich texture. The French toast is impressed with its pumpkin sauce and chopped apple inside. And the syrup mixs with bourbon. The atmosphere is great for small group with its space table and the distance between other tables. Which wouldn't be bothered by other noise.
Went here for breakfast recently and it was such a treat! Great vegan options! I hate to say it, but their biscuits and gravy are better than ones I've had at most vegan restaurants. They also had a bruleed grapefruit, which was delicious (and novel) and one of the best scones I've ever eaten - orange cranberry and to die for. The atmosphere is also adorable and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!
Awesome place to grab brunch indoors or on the outdoor/patio tables. The caramel latte was delicious and not overly sweet. The food was also really good.
Tasty brunch albeit with small portions. We stopped by for a brunch on a Saturdau and we had about a 15 minute wait. We ordered coffee, two servings of grilled cheese/tomato soup($20 each). It was good, but the portion of tomato soup was rather small. A member of our party ordered duck confit and they enjoyed it. Overall, nothing remarkable but a solid choice for a casual brunch if you aren't terribly hungry.
Yummy brunch with different menu items that you wouldn’t normally find on menus elsewhere. My friend and I ordered the duck confit hash and it was utterly delicious. I also ordered the brûléed grapefruit and a whole plate of fries. The fries were fresh and crispy.
The prices are a bit on the higher end but I would say worth it for the food
With so many of my favorite establishments closed in and around Seattle, I am so glad that the staff here at Café Pettirosso i’m not only open but still have the best customer service sarcasm and wit. I just died there a few hours ago today sat outside and was actually amazed at the outdoor set up they have. I hope the outdoor patio on the street stays once everything opens up. Highly recommend dining at this establishment as I have received coffee and cocktails for years. Bravo guys thank you so much.
Pettirosso is THE BEST! The owners are super nice women too. I love everything on their menu. Their desserts are exquisite, and the breakfast grilled cheese with caramelized onions is to die for! So buttery! It even travels well to-go.
Had a wonderful Mother's day brunch today. They were fast to get the food out even with how busy they were. The food was all delicious!
Friends visited from out of town and a good friend of mine chose this for brunch. AMAZING! They have a good variety for all types of diets making this a great place for a group brunch. It's a small place so there isn't a ton of seating, but that doesn't diminish the charm of the place. Staff were so attentive and friendly, it only added to how great of a place this is. I had the vegan biscuits and gravy and my friends had the duck confit hash, grilled cheese & tomato soup, and cured salmon bagel. Everyone was very pleased with the food and the ambience. We sat at the bar by the bakery case, so it was hard not to get something sweet before leaving. I got a raspberry crumble bar and I can't wait to visit again to grab another. Highly recommend.
