Nice location, cute building with the river rock exterior, the patio has a nice view of the south end of Lake Washington (view is over Rainier Ave.) The menu had many tempting items making me think I will return. I appreciated the off street parking. We were not rushed in anyway and the server was attentive without being intrusive. I very much enjoyed it.
Love Stone House; it's a quaint and peaceful environment. Not to mention they have a great menu with great food. The staff that I have encountered are definitely very friendly and an intrusive. The owner really does care about her customers. I highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet place to eat or to have a wedding reception. Stone House cafe is for you.
This is a hidden gem!!
Love the decor and atmosphere.
The outdoor gazebo looks beautiful and the patio seating is heated.
Btw BEST Cornbeef Hash I've ever had!
Excellent food, very small and cozy place, parking is a bit challenging but manageable. I had the bacon and eggs, with a very good spicy Bloody Mary. I wish the business much continued success.
Cozy and adorable spot with a beautiful view of the water. Food was amazing and service was over the top for our very large group!
Great breakfast. Good portions and stunning view on a sunny morning!
Stopped at the Stonehouse Cafe for lunch while we were in Seattle visiting family.
The restaurant kept the around the old gas station making it a very unique and clean rustic ambience. Chairs are made/created from old 55 gallon oil drums with wheels. Everything is unique which adds to restaurants ambience!
The bar is tucked away in the back corner of the restaurant separated by a railing made of unfinished iron pipes.
The host staff is very attentive. We served with water and provided menu as soon as we were seated. Host staff dropped by frequently to ensure water was always topped off.
Everything on the menu looked appetizing but I settled on the Steak Salad. My rare steak was served on top of fresh veggies. My wife had the BLT – Salmon sandwich which was also very good with just the right about of hot smoked salmon.
Just as a FYI - parking is limited. I would highly recommend the Stonehouse Café to others!
The service was really good. Friendly staff. I cant eat bread and the staff were so accommodating that they gave me a small green salad free of charge. This was very nice and made me feel really happy. The food was ok though. Nothing too special. I also liked the lake view of the restaurant.
Excellent little spot. Staff was very nice, view from the roof was amazing. Food was good too, my biscuit was a little dry, but that's neither here nor there. Highly recommend.
The atmosphere was incredible. We had a girls group of 6 come here, yes there was a wait but it was well worth it. In the morning it is super busy. They have seating upstairs, outside, lots of variety for seating.
Stonehouse Café is delicious. You walk in and order. They give you a pager and you go find your place to sit. My favorite thing to eat is the Best Breakfast Sandwich. It is a crispy, good sized, piece of friend chicken on and big biscuit with gravy and egg. It is filling and always tasty.
Great cafeteria style cafe. We waited in a short line to have a quiet, but professional and helpful cashier take our order. They provided a pager and we found our seats after our drinks were made. The chicken biscuit gravy sandwich was to die for. High quality food. Good balance of flavors. My friend ordered the fish sandwich with a salad and spoke highly of her choice as well. I drank an iced latte. I would return if in the area again.
I really enjoyed the Veggie (egg white) Scramble . The view was spectacular. I ordered a Maple Cinnamon Latte, but it looks like they were not ready to make the fall menu drinks despite the launch (taking one star away for the drink wait time). I’d try it again when I’m back in town.
This place was good! Very simple menu and something for everyone, especially if you have a large group with different tastes. You order at the counter and seat yourself. Fast service and food was tasty. The outdoor seating has a roof and walls made out of something like plexiglass, so it’s covered but definitely not insulated-though they had many, many heaters so 40° really wasn’t so bad. There’s also lots of seating inside.
Food was so good, I barely noticed the perfect view. Had pancakes, didn't even know pancakes don't need fluff to be perfect. Like they had the butter and syrup baked right in. Tons of avo in the omelet I ordered, everyone in the group cleaned their plates. Coming back tomorrow.
This is my first visit to this lovely cafe situated overlooking Lake Washington. We placed our order, received a pager, and were able to select our desired seating. The eggs Benedict and fish n chips were served promptly and both were enjoyable. I must mention that the caramel apple mule was particularly delicious.
The atmosphere here carries a pleasant buzz, accompanied by background music. All in all, it was a satisfying experience to have breakfast at this charming local cafe. I look forward to returning in the future to explore more of their food and beverage offerings. Thank you
Great atmosphere. A lot of outdoor seating. There was also an area outside for kids to play. The line took way too long though, mostly people kept cutting. Other than that it was great though.
Went here for early lunch/late breakfast. The service is great. You go in and order your food and then pick a place to sit down. There is inside and outside seating and also an upstairs portion. The view is spectacular. Food is good or alright depending on what you get. Great place to sit and enjoy the views, sit and relax.
Cutest place! Great menu, good staff, wonderful and welcoming atmosphere. Upstairs, downstairs, 3 patios outside, covered area, so amazing! Love the decor and "home-y" feeling! Definitely coming back.
Cute neighborhood brunch spot! We loved their biscuits and gravy 😋 Monte Cristo was soft but the balance in between savory and sweet felt miscalculated for me. Cute place for lazy weekend grabs, can’t wait to revisit during summer!
What a wonderful tucked away spot! I loved the ambiance and old school feel! They had a wonderful R&B playlist going and the staff was very friendly and welcoming!
The food was awesome! Well seasoned and plated well!
I will definitely be back!
We went for Sunday breakfast at 10 am. Got eggs Benedict, baked french toast and pancakes. The eggs were the best with well seasoned potatoes. Everything came out hot and quickly for us. Everything is self serve and bus the tables yourself. There are supplies near the seating and the bathrooms are clean. The menu QR code at the entrance threw us a bit if we had to use that or order at the counter. I guess weekends they don't use the QR code but during weekdays it might be different. There are a few seating areas outside. The tented area only has a couple of heating lamps and the patio has a few warmer gas lamps. Every thing is quite filling if you usually eat a lighter breakfast like we do. I recommend sharing a few different dishes. The french toast is a baked layered dish with cinnamon sugar crumble on top. Wish there was a bit more fruit on top but it was good. We'll be back for when the weather is better as fog had set in so only a partial lake view.
