Dropped in on a Thursday just before evening commute on my friends request. She has been dreaming about the porchetta sandwich, and has a insatiable urge to stop by whenever we come near. It was not too busy when I came by but I’m told they’re prone to run out. The chef ejected the ciabatta bread out of the oven and as they cooled, chopped up the pork and drizzled a pesto sauce. Then the most crucial move, he takes some cracklins and smashes it into small chunks to sprinkle over top. To take a bite of this sandwich is so fatty, tender and rich, it’s nice to cut it with the sweet spicy sauce and mustard. It was the nicest sandwich I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend.

A welcome, and delicious, addition to the neighborhood. True to the experience in Vancouver, BC, this Meat &Bread location serves up a generous portion of delicious sandwich. Today I chose the meatball and I have zero regrets.

Really love their sandwiches, fresh and tasty. They don’t have dinning space though which is not good.

The other sandwiches were very good, but the meatball sandwich was the best one I ever had. Be prepared for it to be a little more spicy than you expect.

Got to try this place before it closed. Best sandwich I've had from a shop!! I can't wait for them to reopen!

Great fixed and daily special sandwiches, friendly staff, quick food. I work in this building and grab a sandwich from here a couple of times a week. I usually do the special, and even when I think I might not like it, I usually do. The porchetta sandwich is also very good, but usually too heavy for me at lunch. The chicken sandwich is a great standby. I haven't tried their soups, salads, or vegetarian sandwiches.

Excellent food with great service! I tried the Spicy Cajun and loved it. It had the perfect balance of flavor and spice, with the chicken being incredibly tender and juicy. I also tried the Carrot Ginger Soup and the Macaroni Salad, which were both delicious. The Carrot Ginger Soup had a very smooth flavor with a hint of spice. The Macaroni Salad was very light because it is not a mayonnaise based recipe and the shredded carrots gave it a unique crunchy texture. I can't wait to get back to Seattle so I can't eat there again...please open one in Denver!

This place is awesome and I could have the porchetta sandwich every single day. The only thing to notice is that taste varies a lot depending on the hour of the day and who makes your sandwich. Best time: right before or after peak lunchtime. Your bread will be crispy and warm, your meat will be hot, and since it's not peak time, cook will be able to not hurry and craft you a great sandwich, and line will be short. Later in the afternoony will get more meat, but food will be cold.
