Yu Mei and her staff are wonderful and will fix anything you want, the choices are endless and delicious. Fred entertains the entire bar every night as one of the best bartenders in Seattle. Can't find a better combination. Really good pot stickers.

Great food, great friendly staff! We celebrated a birthday with several friends and many had various dietary needs from vegan to gluten free. They accommodated us graciously and the flavor was not compromised at all. Wonderful! If you are in the neighborhood ... "go"! ;-)

This is by far the best Chinese food on the west coast. The food comes out piping hot, flavorful, and exactly as I remember it year after year. Nothing compares, and this is the best, and beats any restaraunt in the International District, hands up. I am always happy every single time I eat here!!

Always great food, and great service! You have to order their salt and pepper chicken wings for starters. Honey walnuts prawns are yummy!

Authentic Chinese food, definitely healthy sized portions. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and it had a wonderfully interesting spin. There's no rice with those orders so you hafta order rice separate, and that's enough for two people. Reminds me of NYC restaurants

A wonderful neighborhood eatery. My favorite foods are the Honey Walnut Prawns and the Singapore Noodles. Delicious drinks...check out the Ginger Cosmo. The servers are great. Fred and Steven are the type of bartenders who care about the time you spend in their bar...strong drinks, bawdy jokes and good conversation. They have takeout and delivery but I recommend coming in. The owner, YuMei is a wonderful host. You will leave happy and satisfied. Tons of gluten free options too. Plus...FREE PARKING!!!

What makes an amazing dining experience? Friendly staff, an amazing owner who comes to your table and greets you with smiles, hugs and the occasional treat... Amazing food, a cut way beyond the average Chinese restaurant. A wonderful place to catch an amazing meal before enjoying a show downtown. Yummy margaritas too...

It was great to see them introduce a plant based menu. It was a busy place full of activity and people on Sunday. The food was decent (what I would call Chinese food for the majority of US people) food. It wasn’t overly spicy. Decent food that arrived quickly. The crispy eggplant was very sweet. I think this was sweet forward. Mapo tofu was decent.

This is great Chinese food. Slightly more upscale than most American Chinese joints. Ask for anything you like—they’ll take care of you! The menu is not huge like spots in ID-Chinatown, but everything I’ve tried and my family has tried has been superb! Highly recommend.

If you're in Seattle and wanting Chinese food with great drinks, this will always be my go to spot. Very friendless service and Fred is great at the bar. Food was absolutely delicious. The wings were great and the shrimp were to die for and they had a great crowd on Saturday evening

Separate plant based Chinese food menu, that's served almost all day. The crispy eggplant has a very well balanced sauce. It could use more actual eggplant. The Mongolian duck is good, it tastes like something homemade. I'd skip the spicy dragon mushrooms, they're bland, and have too much fried coating. Overall there's a wide variety of vegetable and tofu dishes. No dessert though :(. Service is wonderful! Very friendly and attentive staff.

I am enamored by the experience I had here. What an absolute gem of the Emerald City. I’m vegetarian and they had a whole menu catered to my taste. Hands down the BEST Sesame Tofu I’ve EVER had! I am new to the city, and I’m SO excited to make this a regular spot for my wife and I. And the dining experience is so clean! They take such good care of you while you’re here! To top it off, they even box the food up to go for you, taking all the work away from you, so you can have a relaxing meal in their care. This is one of those places that you tip 33%. Oh, and it’s family owned and ran, and they are so kind and sweet. I can not say enough about this place. Just please try it for yourself

Their plant-based menu is a must for vegetarians and vegans! This was the first place we ate at when we visited the city and it was an amazing choice! So happy this place was recommended to us by a fellow vegan. We ordered the orange mock duck and the sesame tofu and we left feeling so full and satisfied! I would absolutely love to come back here again. And great service too! Easy walking distance from tourist attractions like the Space Needle, Seattle Center, Olympic Sculpture Park, etc.

We stopped in because they have a separate plant based menu. When we entered it was during lunchtime and there weren’t too many people inside. We were greeted immediately and told to sit wherever we would like to. We were handed menus shortly after(if you are looking for the plant based menu just ask and they will kindly bring it out to you). I ordered their Chinese margarita(super tasty) and my bf ordered an IPA. We decided to share some veggie spring rolls which came with a DELICIOUS dipping sauce. I ordered the plant based orange mock-duck and it was amazing. The flavor was delicious and the mock duck was nice and tender. It’s a generous portion that comes with a side of rice. My bf ordered the Singapore rice noodles and loved it. The portions were very generous. The server was so nice. She checked in on us throughout our meal and even boxed it up for us when we were ready to leave. Plant based Chinese food is hard to come by where I’m from so this place was a must try while I was visiting Seattle. We were at the space needle and this wasn’t a bad walk from there. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.

I've ordered large quantities for both delivery and pickup! The food was still nice and warm both times. The owner Yu-Mei is very patient and helpful. Service is top notch here. I recommend the Singapore noodles and Kung Pao Chicken!

Amazing food I can't express the care that goes into this food. Each dish has a lovely flavor and was delicious. I will come back just for the food but the service is next level my waitress was funny kind and knowledgeable about the dishes if I could give more stars I would ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place is wonderful! We had planned to go to Chinatown for dinner, but discovered Uptown China right down from our hotel. What a find! Yu-Mei is a treasure. The restaurant was lovely, the service was excellent, the food was spectacular, and the portions were ample. We had selections from the regular menu as well as the vegetarian menu. Everything arrived hot and perfectly prepared. Loved every bite.

Food was very good. We had potstickers, shrimp ravioli, house fried rice, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and dry fried green beans. All the food was solid and the beans and beef were especially good. Service was good, and rather than scoff at our rotten toddler throwing a fit, the owner brought three fortune cookies before our appetizers, which greatly improved our experience. Kid should have ate his dinner though, he missed out on some good solid food. There's more authentic dishes and menus to be found, but this joint serves very solid fare at fair prices.

Amazing VEGAN Chinese Food! High Quality texture, flavor, and ingredients. Jenny was a phenomenal server. So kind and warm and sweet. Wonderful first experience. I even saw her be so caring to some family's kids. She escorted the little girl to the sink, who needed help to wash her hands and said "come, sweetheart." As she took care of this little girl while her parents got to relax. Then she gifted the kids some treats. They gifted this family some rice noodles since the cooks accidentally put egg in the dish we ordered. Before they even could bring it to us so we could notice, she gifted us rice for our other dish and quietly got the cooks to make us a new noodle dish. Spectacular service. Great energy here. What a good surprise! Love and gratitude

Wow! This place is a gem. I got the chicken fried rice and Singapore noodles to-go. The atmosphere was bright and clean, it even had a dedicated bar space to watch games. While I waited (a quick ten minutes) the bartender kindly poured me some water and the staff were really friendly. My food was fresh, the servings were generous and the flavors were amazing! I’ll be going back soon
