The cod fish and chips were to die for and the salted pecan coconut ice cream sandwich was to die for as well. Nice little place to happen along ....they also were playing trivia in there, so we had to make sure we didn't blurt out any answers, but with a mouth full of delicious food, it wasn't hard!

We love going to the Lockspot, the food is excellent and their service is always great. We have a choice of seating atmosphere which is always a great experience in itself and top it all off with excellent food. We always start with their steamed clams which is soaked in their flavorful juices, this last time we even added fried mushrooms as our appetizers. Fish and chips you can choose from cod or halibut either one is perfect. They even offer other food items such as steak, hamburgers, spaghetti, sandwiches, soups and salads too. They even have a full bar too.

Cool place nice people and great food. Saw it on Deadliest Catch and had to check it out, all the way from Pennsylvania worth the trip, a must see when in Seattle!

Decided to eat here after exploring the ballad locks. The restaurant has some parking in the front and back of the restaurant but it’s limited. My family and I had a great overall experience but here are the key points! - The fettuccine Alfredo is the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant (tops olive garden and the cheesecake factory 💯) I forgot to take a pic of it 😫 - They don’t accept vertical IDs if you are 21 ( horizontal only as of july ‘23) - Our Server was amazing and friendly despite how busy it was (And they looked like they got a lot of people still learning the ropes)

Not a food review because I just stopped in for a d bloody Mary before more exploring in Ballard. But, super friendly, and a cool neighborhood vibe. Tables outside have blankets to help with the cold. Food coming out looks good and smells good. Fun spot.

Absolutely AMAZING! Being the foodie I am, and starting traveling to try out the hole in the spots. Well low and behold this has been around 30+ years and has a dive bar, definitely port atmosphere. Saw the kitchen and the fish was just getting delivered as well as calamari. What a treat! It tasted so FRESH! finally fresh seafood near docks! Breading was to perfection and fries were crispy and perfectly salted. The place is filled with memorabilia. ABSOLUTELY loved all the deadliest catch signatures and of course I come out when they're out fishing in the bering sea. Anyways ignore the negative reviews. You will definitely love this place!!

On the way home we decided to grab some chowder (Clam & Salmon) to go and boy are we pleased. Getting to experience each other made with some of the freshest seafood has been amazing! Definitely worth a visit.

The Lockspot has been around for years and it’s been awhile since I’ve been to this iconic place that is known for some appearances from the deadliest catch crew. Maybe you’ll get lucky if you swing on by. The food is average and nothing special but every person that works there was really nice so that’s why they get a 4 star. The restaurant was packed so obviously they are doing something right. The burger and chicken had soggy buns not sure why. The fish was good and fresh so that’s a plus! Coleslaw was on point and you can’t go without trying the chowder. If you’re by the locks walking around stop on in and check it out. It’s old school and divey so be prepared but it’s a good spot!

Stopped in to get a beverage while walking around looking like a tourist. Customer service was wonderful 👍. I am sure the food is delicious. The atmosphere was awesome. Definitely worth a stop by. I wish we would have come by when we were hungry to give the food a try.

Cute and cozy place. Really great staff. Parking was easy and you’re right next door to Ballard Locks. The food was good. Expect to pay $40/person, which seems a bit pricey for a cafe. I would recommend checking this place out.

The fish n chips were perfect. Nice thick breading cooked to a perfect crispy shell around a deliciously flaky fish. Chips were also perfectly cooked. Not too crispy, not soggy. Great flavor. And not greasy at all.

Great lunch spot! Went to see the Ballard Locks and grabbed lunch while we were there. Outdoor seating was great because we had a dog with us. Ordered the burger, chicken, and fish sandwiches and they were all great. Food came out quickly, super great spot for lunch!

In town visiting and went to see the locks just after lunch time. This little place was convenient and nice and close. Three of us ordered three different meals and it was all really good. It only took about 10 min to come out. We all agreed we would definitely stop again. We parked at the lock parking area and only paid $1 to park for 2hrs. I believe it’s outdoor seating only, we sat at a picnic table in front but it looked like they might have a small canopied area in the back.

My partner and I love this local cafe - we normally get our grilled cheeses to go and sit by the nearby botanic gardens/locks. Although they also have seating and water bowls for the dogs :) The food is always tasty, reasonably priced, and the guys who work behind the counter are great!

First of all Amazing Irish coffee, finally I spot I could enjoy them. Their food was okay, my issue was the balance in their seasonings, staff was friendly and food came on time. My grandma’s favorite place to go!

We had gone down to the locks, but no ships/boats in the locks that day so we had lunch at this cute little restaurant nearby, the Lockspot Cafe. Girls waitresing were adorable and very efficient at their jobs...working together as a team...you don't see this often anymore. The fish was delicious n chips too. Thank you for good food n great service.

I try and limit my 5 star reviews... But this placed earned it! It's easy to fall in love with this diner I don't know why but I loved it instantly. If that wasn't enough the service was amazing, they mastered the balance of not checking in to often but also making sure I was taken care of. The service and atmosphere easily earned 4 stars on their own but then you bring the food in and dang! The clam chowder was so flavorful and the fish and chips were the Freashest I've ever had! My only complaint is the portion size of the soup was kinda small. I could have eaten a gallon of it!

Best Bloody Mary I ever had. Amazing crab Benedict my man love his Mexican burrito with black beans. “Our food Slaps” on their sign sucked me in and they did not lie. We literally were going to the spot next store u’til they enticed me with their sign! And we got to watch the Seahawks game!! So grateful!!

Just outside the main entrance to Ballard Locks. Old place with no need for updating. Food was good, beer was cold, service was excellent.

My friend invited me out to have Thanksgiving Dinner here! It was my first time visiting and the fish and chips with a cup of Chowder on the side 🤤 worth it! Great location and parking around the building. They have a delicious Clam chowder! Highly recommend this place.
