I'd much rather eat at placed on 15th on Capitol Hill than on Broadway. Much nicer places... Hopvine Pub is a favorite of locals. Nothing fancy. They have great outdoor seating on the sidewalk or a patio in the back. You order at the counter, but a nice local rotating beer selection. Pizzas and sandwiches are really good. Nice and casual with good service. Love it!

A longtime fave of ours. The amendment of the beer list as taps are changed often stops the lively conversations—so many devout beer lovers in the room. Also, big praise for the owners allowing well-behaved dogs inside. Our gregarious Lab loves to be around the merriment.

Really excellent pizzas and sandwiches and, as expected, a solid selection of drinks. Some fun rotating ciders and IPAs round out the menu nicely. Their weekly Wednesday open mic night (8pm-10pm) has great energy, with some quirky and quality musicians (with a sprinkling of comedy and spoken word). I'm already a returning customer.

Pretty cool. Came once before for an open mic but was cancelled so we tried to play games but wound up leaving soon. Went to open mic this Thursday and it was really good. Amazing artists both musical and comedic. I performed my open style bit. I'll be back. I give it a four stars because there were a few things I felt could have been improved. Small things. I'll list next time after my next experience.

A neighborhood pub, not too loud, avant-garde music selection, the friendliest staff with a giant selection of beer and wine.

Great place for dog owners to go and hang out on the back or front patio with your four legged companion. Descent amount of vegetarian options (more than most places) and a great tap menu. Five stars for the (food + beer + dog friendly atmosphere)

Great little neighborhood spot. Smoked wings are really good, salads are fresh, and the pizza is bomb. Very good beer selection.

The Hopvine is a special place, they have a great selection, cool staff, good vibes and a really sweet back outdoor area with alley and smoking access. The regulars here are really cool people, you'll meet magicians and wizards, and people who have depth of knowledge in eclectic topics, hippies, gurus, engineers, and beautiful gorgeous members of the opposite. Whatever you want, do a nightcap here after visiting Liberty, you won't be disappointed. The last time I was here I had the best night of my life and transcendental awakening, was pretty sweet!

This is a great spot for beer and food. They always have a good selection of beers. They also have fun events like trivia, comedy and open mic nights. The comedy shows I have been to have been particularly good. It is also the only place I've been to in Seattle that has good garlic knots. Not quite as good as you can get in New York, but the best you can do here.

Food is amazing. Mostly pizzas, sandwiches, soups and salads. They have specials every night. Food takes a long time, so come prepared to drink a few beers and relax while you wait for your food. Service is okay. They're always friendly, but don't always know their menu and can be slow. Usually if you walk up to the bar, they take no offense and are helpful. Atmosphere is local pub. Very comfortable and down home. There's also some tables on the sidewalk in front that can be very pleasant depending on the day. They host lots of events like trivia, geek nights, brewers nights, etc. Lots of locals go here. My husband and I go here regularly for their tuna melt (made with kalamata olives 😍) and soups (always 3 rotating options, made fresh). Highly recommended. Will be back.

Open mic night on Wednesdays is fun. Small but solid beer selection and the artichoke Gouda sandwich makes me happy

Don't ask for bud light or any garbage beer and you'll be alright. They have a fine assortment of microbrews and ciders. Also, the bartender with the mustache is the best and is super friendly. Tip him huge! And don't forget the guy that makes your pizza or food. Yes super cool too.
