One of my favorite brunch spots in Seattle! Ben Paris is located perfectly next to Pike Place Market, giving you plenty of activities to do before and after you eat. It's a stylish restaurant offering a great brunch menu. I really enjoyed every item I tried! The Parmesan Truffle Fries were so crispy and came right out of the fryer. I couldn't stop eating them. The Pork Carnitas bowl was flavorful. However, I think my favorite dish was the Ricotta Pancake. I normally don't like super sweet items for breakfast and generally steer away from pancakes, but this one was perfect! The edges were crispy and the middle was fluffy and light. The pancake wasn't overly sweet and was perfectly paired with fresh berries. I would definitely order this again! Service was incredible. They do get pretty busy so the wait for food can be a little long but the food is well worth the wait. I also suggest getting a reservation if possible!

Sis is back in town and as always we are looking for interesting places to find our next meal. Today we had brunch at Ben Paris located on the corner of Pike Street and 2nd Avenue as part of the State Hotel in downtown Seattle. It was Halloween and the room and wait staff were appropriately adorned to fit the season! We really enjoyed our meal, beginning with cocktails. Both of us had drinks with the main ingredient being espresso. My sister ordered a Calcifer, a warm drink, and I ordered an espresso martini, which I asked to be served over ice, with a side of cream. (They did not charge me extra for the cream.) Both drinks were excellent and I would not hesitate to order either again. I ordered a half sandwich of a fig, bacon and blue cheese sandwich with a butternut squash soup. I often find that butternut squash is prepared to play up the natural sweetness of the squash. But this one was savory with a surprising and well balanced back kick of cayenne. Really good! Sis ordered The Fried Chicken Sando -- a crispy fried chicken sandwich with kimchee, fresno chili and pickled cucumber served on a brioche bun. She requested that the side fries be kicked up a notch to the parmesan truffle fries. The fries were our least favorite as the parmesan and truffles did not add much character. With the fries we requested hot sauce and they brought us a collection of their house-mades - mild, medium and spicy. Beware of the spicy, unless you are a chilihead. I give Ben Paris high marks for character. The place has an impressive bar and nice, comfortable decor. The food is better than average good, as I found the entrees creative and well seasoned. The staff is very attentive and willing to accommodate special requests. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to locals and out-of-towners alike. Good value for a solidly good meal.

Amazing food!! We got the smoked salmon omelette and ricotta pancakes. The omelette was flavorful and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. The mimosas were light and refreshing too. Our waiter was very sweet and we had a great time!

Beautiful restaurant. Convenient location and just a quick walk to Pike Market Place. The Ricotta Pancakes were perfectly crispy on the edges and had a yummy vanilla taste to them. The roasted potatoes were so delicious - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Great brunch spot. Will recommend.

We had a 7:30 show at Benaroya Hall about 2 blocks away. Walked in for our 6pm reservation and saw 2 large groups. Immediately knew we weren’t going to have dinner but we all tried our best. The apps were delicious. The drinks were excellent. Justin was wonderful & gracious to us. We will be back but without a time limit.

Excellent food. The wagyu beef burger was the best ever. Beef incredibly juicy. Aioli with mustard and blue cheese sublime. The Ben Paris breakfast was equally unparalleled. Scrambled eggs executed perfectly. Service a bit restrained, like it needs to reflect a high-class establishment. Not overly welcoming but efficient.

We were attracted by the wallpaper from outside, and were not disappointed. The ambiance and service were top notched, and the food did not disappoint. We did come in during burger week, so the menu was a little smaller, but still delicious during lunch!

Food was decent overall, cocktails were great. My friend got the standard diner style breakfast with like eggs and I went for the fried chicken sandwich per the bartenders recommendation. It had all the right ideas, but they fried the hell out of that chicken, so it kind of had a burnt taste to it, maybe it just needs different breading. Cool looking brightly lit space in a great location to begin your day downtown.

What we picked wasn’t amazing, but it was our bad. Eggs had chives, potatoes had chives, my wife got a biscuit and it had chives. We should have gone with the pancakes, the guy next to us ordered the pancakes and they looks soooo god! While the food was good, I’m not giving 5 starts since mostly everything had chives so I didn’t get o taste mother flavors.

Top notch service. I’m of the mind that Chicago and NYC have the best service industry in the country, and it’s not close. With that being said, the service I got at Ben Paris was the best experience I’ve had in Seattle, and equals the same experiences I get out east. The food was delicious, that’s important, but many places lose their concentration on the little things -such as excellent service. You have a great product, and great staff -keep doing what you’re doing. Thanks for the excellent treatment and care with our family (including 3 children), it’s much appreciated. We will be making a trip back. The brunch items were all good, and bacon was cooked perfectly to my taste.

We had an amazing experience at Ben Paris. This was the most delicious dinner I’ve eaten a while. I tried the braised short rib and the London Fog crème brûlée for dessert. The short rib was very tender and flavorful, and I loved the broccolini and polenta served with it. My partner tried the lamb tagliatelle and the strawberry rhubarb sundae. The tagliatelle was spicy, but he enjoyed it. The desserts were unique and not overly sweet. The only thing I didn’t care for were the hush puppies as I felt they were overly reliant on the dipping sauce for flavor, but everything else was amazing. We will definitely be back! The price point is on the higher end, but we felt it was worth the money for the amazing dinner. The staff went above and beyond and provided a great experience and accurate descriptions of the food to help us choose.

We had breakfast here on the morning after July 4th and it was fairly empty due to the holiday the day before. We had some burrata with melon and a Korean grilled chicken sandwich, paired with a few cocktails. Would love to come here for dinnerwhen we get the chance.

I’ve been here a couple times and it’s always solid for the hotel restaurant that it is - like it’s hard to go wrong with stopping by for a snack or a drink before a show at the Moore but it’s not the type of place that you’d drive an hour to eat at. Or so I thought until I have the lemon ricotta pancakes at brunch. Rarely do I ever cover a dish but that one ticked off all the boxes - the pancakes were sweet without being cloying, dense without being thick and just the right amount of crisp on the edges. I almost don’t want to go back for fear that it was a one off but I feel like I need to have them again.

Nice upscale place near the market, and I'm surprised they weren't busier for 5:30 dinner. Maybe the hordes of wackadoodle crazy people on the street outside keep patrons from visiting this part of town... The service and food was amazing! We got in just at the tail end of happy hour, and ordered the chef's tasting menu which is multiple courses of surprise items. Our server did an excellent job of conversing with us and bringing items we were sure to enjoy. Without going into great detail about each and every dish, I'll just say there were no complaints about any of them and everything tasted outstanding. My top favorites were the foccacia (OMG yummm) and hush puppies. The lavender marshmallows with the creme brulee are overpowering on their own, be sure to eat them with a bite of the other ingredients for best results.

All I can say is soooo good! Next time I go I will try more things! The ricotta pancakes tasted like my grandmas I love that the edges were crispy most places don’t do that. My friend loved her food too.

We've gone here multiple times now for both the Happy Hour Dinner and Brunch Options. Happy Hour: Amazing value, delicious food, fun and friendly service. The Tasting Menu option during Happy Hour is by far one of the best deals in Seattle, with a huge variety of food options to try you will leave absolutely stuffed. They also have a fun drink option your can pair along with it and their bartenders created some fun and delicious drinks. Brunch: I think everyone on here agrees the pancakes are the #1 option and it's easy to see why once you take a bite. Don't sleep on their other hearty options as well but the pancakes were the star of the show for us.
