We went for brunch and loved it. The congee is like chicken soup, but thicker and my favorite thing. I would recommend ordering the mini portions and trying multiple things.
We went right when they opened on Sunday in December, the place was empty, so don't worry about it being too busy for brunch.
Granted that I arrived hungry, I can still fairly say that the duck sandwich was fantastic and a great deal. At 13.5 bucks, I expected to get one of those anemic sandwiches heavy on a spicy mayo. Not so. It was generous and delicious and I intend to eat it again. Having spent many many hours over many years at the table in southern France eating duck from the farm, I have a standard for good duck and this place meets it. I would give this place five stars but for the Seattle cool attitude and the salad that missed the mark - a little flavor to the dressing people? - and also because I hope it does not get overrun and hard to get another delicious fabulous duck sandwich.
Have been to Stock several times and have left happy, full and satisfied every time. Great, flavorful food. Fresh ingredients and the owner and staff consistently go the extra mile to be sure their guests have a top notch experience. My favorites so far include the turkey meatball sandwich, duck sliders and french toast with berry compote. Have heard nothing but rave reviews about the pho. An amazing local favorite!
Went for brunch and it was delicious! I got the happy vegan hash (I added a duck egg) and was very happy with my decision. The mimosas were great also. I definitely recommend trying out this new restaurant, not only because the food is great and fresh, but it's also farm-to-table and uses a lot of local ingredients. I can't wait to go back and have lunch!
This place is right around the corner from my house, and I couldn't be happier about it. The veggie pho is amazing. The stock is made in house (of course), and the portion is solid for the price. The coffee is the best on the block, and this is the only place I've ever had a good bread stick.
The owner and staff are very friendly, and they obviously care about our experience. Every time we come in, they do something nice. I'm going to make a habit of doing my work here.
You really can't go wrong.
Small Pho restaurant. Our party of 4 had 3 different sandwiches, and all agreed that they go too heavy on the cilantro. Otherwise, the food was excellent. I liked that for all the sandwich options, you could request a salad with the same ingredients (minus the bread). The men in our party were less enthusiastic about the food and options than the women. Street parking can be tricky.
Ordered duck sandwich and pho with meatballs. Food was really amazing. Stock is something special. I would expect a line our the door but we came at a great time. Staff is super friendly. You walk in and order at the counter then sit where you like. Love the atmosphere. Will definitely come back.
First time in seattle and I would eat here again and again! The main reason we stopped in was the smell from the street! Just makes your mouth water just standing there. Amazing place best duck sandwich I've ever had and the waiting staff is amazing! They helped us pick drinks that paired very well with our sandwiches. If I'm ever in seattle, eating again for sure! 10/10 going to recommend.

This just recently opened a few days ago. It's a cute and dainty cafe right next to a tattoo parlor. Their hours are mainly for breakfast and brunch. They have delicious brunch items on their menu, but apparently one of their most popular dishes is the Chicken Pho. I got this and it was very fresh and had a home made essence to it. You can't taste the MSG or an aftertaste when you finish wolfing down this dish. I really recommend getting the duck with a dish (w/ the pho especially) if you can, because it's REALLY good. Check this place out if you're looking for a "hot and new" place to eat!
Note: You go to the counter to order first and then you go sit down.
Caution: During the lunch rush, tables fill up fast! Plan accordingly!
Stock has become a weekly regular for my family. The food is fast, delicious, and easily pleases many pallets. My six and four year old each have their own regular that they get every Friday. I love their PNW take on pho, with seasonal fresh greens added to the basic pho and the ability to customize both the pho and congee by adding confit-ed duck, shrimp balls, egg, etc.
We love the friendly and speedy service, casual atmosphere, and most importantly amazing food. I highly recommend trying the duck pho and if you like eggs definitely get the fried egg on top. Their congee has also become a new favorite of mine.
Very tasty congee with a sticky consistency. Have not tried their duck pho yet, but it looks very delicious. However, being a hipster Asian fusion resto, the price is expensive for what you get. I have had good congee in China town at way less price.
But for hipster food, it is a good solid 4 star little place.
Stock offers the best PHO on the west coast. It's warm, hearty, savory, and very affordable. I highly recommend the Duck Pho. The customer service is amazing and they reported that they can make any of the dishes gluten-free.
Out of this world food and calming atmosphere. A must for foodies! Please open a second location in West Seattle.
The duck broth is incredible, the salads are so fresh and dressed with the perfect amount of dressing and the duck breakfast sandwich is the best I've ever had in my life. I will 100% frequent this great addition to Stumbletown.
We had the duck sandwich with egg and the congee with turkey meatballs along with the tomato salad. Duck sandwich was very yummy and very messy. I think the beats and onion should be on opposite sides of the meat in order to help keep it together. Slicing the beats into strips could help with this problem too. Congee was good, but not Chinese mama good. I'd prefer a 6 minute salted egg but that's personal preference. Meatballs were very well done. Tomato salad was iffy for me. I had puddles of oil on the plate after eating it.
Service was excellent.
Tables need to be leveled.
I'd go again.
I ate a "regular" size duck congee. It was really filling. The congee had a nice flavor and texture. Wish it came with some pickled veggie or salty egg. They might have been options but I didn't see it. I will definitely try more of their dishes in the near future.
I've eaten here 5 or 6 times now and have been thoroughly impressed with the food each and every time. It's great to see both the employees and owners so engaged with customers and I love the location. Keep it up guys, I'm already looking forward to my next bowl of soup!
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at stock- farm to table cafe. Chris the owner/chef is warm and personable, he even anticipated my second order a few days after my first visit, since we had discussed two dishes I simply had to try them both.
