I received a very beautiful wrapped gold petite box with the gold ribbon. The chocolate was to die for. Actually this was my very first time eating such deliciousness. They were very rich in taste and I will enjoy my favorite glass of wine with them. They absolutely make devine gifts!!!!

Last spring I tried Fran's for the first time. I instantly fell in love...chocolate, caramel, and salt what's not to love. Oh yea what's better then the salted caramels...the seasonal treats that appear magically in the spring.
I received a box as a gift yesterday, and I am delighted with the flavors. I will probably consume the entire small box before the day is over. I have no control when it is something I absolutely love!
I purchased the Double Dipped Fig, several Coconut Ganache Almond bars & a mixture of sea salt chocolates and hazelnut chocolates. Flew home and surprised my daughter with the chocolate treats. They were wrapped and boxed just lovely and each one's taste, albeit different from the next were absolutely delightful. #AmazingChocolates

I attended an event here! Amazing building. Staff was so friendly and explained the history of Frans Chocolates and was so helpful. Stop by during the day for a quiet cup of coffee. Work areas for quick meetings. Very relaxing area. Oh and the chocolate...... BEYOND yummy! ❤️

This past weekend was the Georgetown Bites event in Seattle. This annual food event in Georgetown features the local businesses. This year thirty four places participated. Each ticket is five bucks and when you visit the businesses, you exchange one ticket for a food or drink item. I took my son so we could get some mother and son time. We had already eaten lunch, so we decided to do a dessert crawl.
These chocolates are some of the finest I have ever had. The flavor was smooth, creamy, and just plain delicious. Had some shipped home for gifts and the staff was wonderful and very helpful. This is a must stop for anyone who appreciates good quality chocolate.

Oh yes Frans chocolates is a delight. I stumbled upon this store yesterday while walking along Union Street of the pikes peak marketplace. I was immediately offered y a sample of Dark chocolate by young fellow. It was a busy l but a good day at Frans. Frans is the chocolate emporium in Seattle. A wonderful opportunity to take a guided tasting experience that is both delicious and educational. Fran's Chocolates' Georgetown location is beautiful. There's ample street parking on Airport Way S., and unless it's around the holidays you'll find yourself and maybe a couple others as the only customers in their retail store which makes for quick and easy shopping. Held in the original Seattle Brewing and Malting Company building, their retail space includes the original winding staircase on the first floor, as well as the original floor (as much as they could salvage), and original brick on the walls. The staff are helpful and radically knowledgeable about the history of Fran. Yes, there is a Fran. The guided tasting experience will lead you to large windows in their factory where you get to see the vast and clean space where all the chocolate magic happens.
After viewing the factory floor, the staff will guide you back to the retail space to taste a few small pieces of chocolate. A few pieces is plenty, I assure you. They'll include educational props and an overall history of the chocolate making process while being quick and thorough in answering all of our questions. The overall guided tasting experience lasted about 45 minutes or so. The cost is $10 per person and a courtesy 10% discount in their store is provided.
This would be a great family activity or for chocolate lovers or for family and friends visiting out of town who are interested in learning more about the biggest chocolate company in Seattle.

I love their chocolate and I appreciate they give us some extra pieces to try. It’s a little odd that they often give me salted caramel as free sample after I buy 20-40 pieces of chocolate truffles. There is a reason why I only buy chocolates. I do not like caramel 😅

Located in a beautiful georgetown brick building. Fran's chocolate factory is a great place to visit and buy the best salted caramel chocolates. They also have other flavors that aren't often seen in stores. Conveniently, they also have an espresso bar if you want some coffee to go with your chocolate.
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour where a sales associate talked about Georgetown and the building the chocolates are made in. Then got to try a variety of treats while learning about the ingredients that went into them. Used the 10% discount on a shopping spree.

Visiting Fran's is an EXPERIENCE. Once entering the historic building, you can view the area (through glass) where the chocolates are made, pick up chocolate boxes and port pairings, or make a custom box. The staff member was knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely making a return trip!

Purchased several chocolates as a gift. I thought I was missing one and they were willing to make sure I came in to provide it to me but I ended up finding it in the bag and I made sure to call back to confirm I found it and was no longer going in. Highly recommend the shop.
The mocha is to die for! Wonderful place to sit and enjoy some coffee and chocolate. We also really enjoyed the double chocolate fig. So good! There's parking in the back.

Only issue - the cashier was rude to the persons putting together the chocolate boxes, criticizing the way they put on the ribbons. I understand wanting to correct a problem. Don't yell it from the register. That definitely lessened my experience.
