Wow super delicious and insanely fast service. The ramen was SO good and exactly what was expected and needed. It was served at the perfect temperature, and was easily modifiable if needed. Great quick and attentive service. It would be hard to try another place because it was so delicious here.
The Ramen is delicious! I tried the one called Super Shouyu Tonkotsu Ramen, and the one called Shouyu Tonkotsu Ramen. Both were great options. I also recommend trying the Sumo Bowl with Teriyaki. The Japanese mayonnaise gives it extra flavor! I love to eat ramen with rice. You don't have to wait for the waitress to pay for your dinner. To pay, you must go to the cashier. The atmosphere is not the best, but I really recommend their flavorful ramen. If you park in Uwajimaya, they validate your parking ticket.
Samurai is less busy than some of the other noodle shops around, and the food is really good and also affordable. There is very limited seating, but if you can dine in I recommend because the service is also very good. We went on a Saturday last time, and the food only took a few minutes to get out to us, so there isn’t much of a wait either.
Their karage is the best I’ve ever had they marinade it the way it should be the gyoza is similarly amazing and the tonkostu ramen is excellent
This place is easily missed. Its a smaller venue. The food is incredible and the portions are insane. This place is a must. This has been one of the best Ramen experiences I have had. It would be sad to miss out.
Small place. Not good for large parties. Good bowl of noodles. I prefer the thicker noodles. Soups were all good. I enjoyed my tonkatsu ramen. Came on a Monday night and didn’t have to wait. 👍
Great job and great price. Definitely enough to fill you up!
My favorite ramen shop to come to when I'm in Seattle! I love the noodles & broth. I was not a fan of the karaage though.
We were really impressed with the food here. Boyfriend ordered ramen and loved every part of it. It really hit the spot for him. I had the gyudon and it was delicious. Will recommend this little place to anyone looking for a great ramen place in the area.
This is my favorite ramen in Seattle, it is authentic, tasty, and with a cozy neighborhood shop ambience that you'll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in the city. If you're not in the mood for soup, their appetizers and rice bowls hold their own against the excellent ramen. If you are getting the ramen be sure to get an extra soft boiled egg or two as they're always done just right. All in all it's a wonderful place and they're vegan friendly as well!
Some of the best ramen I’ve had. Ordered the vegan miso mushroom ramen and it was so flavorful and the mushrooms were amazing. Got takeout while staying at a near by hotel and it was ready by the time we walked over.
A true must-go if you're traveling to or through Seattle. It's a tiny ramen shop tucked into the side of the Uwajiyama block. When you enter, you're greeted warmly and are led to your table (or get to pick one). I definitely recommend trying the Ramen Mt. Fuji; it's big, but packs the same size flavor. Great if you're taking a long flight out and need to stay full.
We were looking for a vegan option near Lumen field and this place didn't disappoint. We ordered one Ramen Bowl and all their vegan appetizers and almost couldn't walk to the game we were so stuffed.
Excellent food, chill space, and pleasant staff. I will be coming back. I had the edamame, tonkotsu ramen and rice green tea. All delicious.
Awesome food, nice employees, fast service. It's a small space that's cozy and comfortable. Keeps the focus on the food! Some complain about parking; it's the International District on the edge of d.t. Seattle so expect street parking, or park in the Uwajimaya lot and do some grocery or gift shopping too. Or better yet; walk!
It is one of the best noodle places to go to. Fresh made noodles and broth. Good variety of choices and plenty of ways to modify, add or remove things from your bowl to make it just how you like it. Have patience around mealtimes because it can get very busy and crowded. Takeout is always an option. Great sturdy containers. Broth is always separate from everything else until you're ready to eat. No soggy noodles.
I've been a customer of Samurai Noodle for almost 10 years now. I love their recipes, especially their seasonal shiro ramen, as well as their rice bowls and gyoza. They have a homey feel to their shop and meals and the made-from-scratch recipes are neither too light or too heavy. The current staff are wonderful and myself and my family always look forward to our visits (even if it's a quick hello right now thanks to the pandemic). I also highly recommend trying the chili sauce or paste. The flavor is fantastic and tastes great in the ramen or paired with their shredded pork.
Edit: Added a pic of today's order. Still loving the food. 💖
A cozy place that serves tasty ramen. The karaage was really delicious and so was the ramen.
Staff was incredibly nice and friendly. Ramen had a great flavor. We split the bowl between two and that was the perfect light lunch. Great time and experience
