Service uneven but food good. I think the table-service issues, which exist, have to do largely with the fact that they do a very large volume of take-out business, which seems to keep them all busy on the phone or at the cash register. Just don't be in a hurry if you come to dine in. The food is good--not stellar, but solid-- including some dishes not typically found in other Thai restaurants.
I really like their Thai ice tea and wonton soup.
Great Food & Great Service!. Been going to Thai One On ever since they opened! Best Red Curry ever! Consistently good food!
Pretty good. This place is okay, but not my favorite. The orange chicken is pretty good, even though it was drenched in orange sauce.
Everything I have had here has been solid, and I have eaten here a lot. Always fast and fresh, I call in to pickup, and it's ready in 10 minutes. Also some cities on the waitstsff. It's worth mentioning!!
Loved it, when hungry for Thai food this is where we go.. Our family has eaten here twice in a month's time and we're anxious to return again. The flavors were great, the level of heat was wonderful, and the presentation very good too. Enjoyed the atmosphere and found the staff to be courteous and efficient. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time given the traffic on the nights we went.
Get past the name.... When this place first opened, I was taken aback by the name, which I thought was silly and somewhat offensive. However, the Chang Thai, which used to occupy the space had closed and hadn't re-opened in their new digs yet, and there were no really good close-in Thai places. We loved the edgy decor and the food is better than OK. Better pad thai than Chang Thai, but their satay is frequently under-cooked and rubbery. So I sometimes get Satay at Chang Thai up the street and pad thai here. But for atmosphere, this is the better place to bring out of town guests or even out of neighborhood guests. I once brought a group of actors after a show, and they were about to close, but they stayed open and brought food and drink to the group and were very acommodating. I was surprised to read the review about bad service. I have always gotten fast & friendly service here, no exceptions.
Nice place. What I love about Thai One On is the atmosphere: I think the food is delicious, but I wouldn't say it's vastly different than any other Thai place in Seattle. The atmosphere is really cool though--cool art on the walls, neat layout of the restaurant. You forget you're on Lake City and can pretend you're in Bangkok instead. It's very authentic.
Best Phad Thai outside of West Seattle. I know I should try more of the other dishes but it's the phad thai that lures me in most often. It's not slimy or orange like the lower-tier phad thais and it tastes soo good.
I eat here for lunch easily once a week. It's red curry chicken is excellent- complex and spicey and the Pah Kee Mao is usually very good. Honestly, best thai food I've had in Seattle.
We have been coming here 15 years at least, we discovered it when we lived nearby and even moving out of the neighborhood and then back over the years they continued to be our favorite Thai place. It’s consistently delicious, the dishes are authentic, it’s like home cooked Thai food but turned up a notch. Service is great.
Must try: panang curry, pad kee mao noodles, larb, papaya salad
Hi! What is happening with the restaurant!? So much time has gone by since the fire. Get a Facebook page and connect with your customer!!!! It's free. We love your restaurant but your communication is terrible. Also, the inside should not be completely setup for take out and delivery. Put that in the back where the bar that nobody every sits at is. Such a nice place. We can't wait to come back.
Awesome food, amazing service, one of my long-time favorites. I'm happy Thai One On is back open and better than ever. Thank you for always being consistent!
Oh my goodness! Finally found my favorite Thai restaurant here. Not too sweet, the main thing is no MSG & authentic delicious flavor!!! Definitely will coming back many times. Now I live in south Seattle but I will be back again!
This is a really good Thai restaurant. There food is delicious! I've had a couple of their curry dishes, which are my favorite and have loved them all. Their Thai fried rice is excellent. Dine in, take out or have it delivered! The service is great, your food is ready fast. I recommend this place if you're ever in Lake City in Seattle!
Thai One On is one of my favorite neighborhood spots. I am so thrilled they have reopened after the fire and look forward to many more dinners.
Always good and usually quick too. I got nervous tonight when it took longer than normal, but good things come to those who wait. Extra good today! Pineapple curry is also a fave. So, so glad to have them close by!
Overjoyed that they are back, one of lake City's best kept secrets, always good, always friendly. Welcome back🖤
The best Thai restaurant in Lake City! Absolutely delicious!
We enjoyed our time at Thaioneon very much. I loved my steaming chicken noodle soup made just the way I like it. My husband had the swimming Rama and it was just perfect. I have been back many times. Highly recommended.
Pad See Lew was amazing!! Great local place. Must try.
The wantoon and spring rolls were really crispy and fresh. Garlic with beef was tasty. Price is reasonable (less than 50 dollars for 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes). Service is fast.
I miss Thai One On SO much and sure hope that they are able to open again
My favorite place for Thai food in Seattle. Food is authentic and delicious! Prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly.
What more can you ask for? Seriously I've eaten here multiple times this week and that's not the first time.
Everything I've tried here has always been delicious. I'd recommend the Duck curry as it's fairly hard to find. If your looking for something more mainstream the Thom Kha and Swimming Rama are awesome. If you want something meatier the crying tiger is the way to go. Not to mention the Pad Thai 😉
