Plus, great wine selection, prosecco included and beat Italian ricotta pie you’ll have in your life. Definitely the best lunch option in downtown, will be back for sure.

The pasta is handmade and cooked perfectly. The menu is simple and rotates every two weeks, with lasagna present every day. I had two dishes, Fusilli with wild salmon, zucchini and shallots ($11) and Spaghettoni aglio, olio, kale and pecorino ($9), both of which reminded me of my visits to Italy. They were authentic representations of genuine Italian cuisine made by a master of the craft. The parmesan was fresh, the olive oil flavorful, and the pasta al-dente and delicious. The owner is a native of the north of Italy, but her father's side of the family was from the south. As a result, the wines are representative of the regions she is most familiar with (though they also have a small selection of craft beers and Italian mineral water). The hand-made crostata, a lemon and chocolate concoction, was moist and rich. Most of what the chef uses for ingredients come directly from the Pike Place Market and the surrounding community. Each dish is piping hot and cooked directly in front of you, should you decide to watch. This is an exceptional restaurant that stands out as among the best Italian food in Seattle, and this is no exaggeration. I had the honor of being the first customer at Pasta Casalinga. Don't miss it!
I eat lunch in the market a few days a week, and this is a contender for the best food in Pike Place. Great atmosphere, amazing locally-sourced ingredients, and reasonable price point for masterpiece recipes. Recommend!
Deliziosa! Such a fun little place to stop at for pasta that's lovingly made one delicious bowl at a time. The menu changes periodically so it's been fun to try different things. Today we also had a great white Sicilian wine to complement our pasta.
Hands down the best pasta in Seattle. Great service as well. Highly recommend this place to everyone. I will be back for sure.

It was an absolute pleasure to experience this incredible artisan pastificio! The warm hospitality exemplified by Michela and the inviting atmosphere only heightened the quality of my time here. The overwhelmingly positive recommendations by many all proved to be true, as every bite I took, I fell more in love with the beautiful pasta I received!

Ate there for the first time today; Fantastic! Had the pasta with wild boar ragu, and I almost took the finish off of the plate trying to get it all. I will be making this a regular stop.
Who said the fast food has to be junk? If you are downtown Seattle, stop by this place at the Pike Market and you can have a genuine Italian experience and yet be fast. Michele, the manager and chef, offers her home made pasta and sauces, coming from the Italian tradition and will welcome you with her stunning smile. Absolutely suggested!
Best. Pasta. Ever. I am an Italian living in the States for more than 15 years and I have moved to the Seattle area one and a-half years ago. I was at the Pike Market Place with a friend visiting from the South East and reluctantly followed her random suggestion to eat at the Pasta Casalinga, thinking that the best-case scenario would have been another “meh” pasta… I had the fusilli with salmon and zucchini. Oh. My. God. Hands down, best pasta I have ever had in the US. Finally true, authentic, Italian homemade pasta: delicious! You just need to go and try it: you’ll absolutely love it! The younger gentleman who offered my friend and I samples, while wearing gloves of course, was very nice and let us have several samples. We found several products in our price range and had them shipped back to Connecticut. They arrived packaged very well and the products are beautiful, too. They are definitely suitable for giving out as gifts. I will be ordering more in the future to do that, but I'm keeping these ones for myself! They are wicked delicious!
You will be amazed at the variety of pasta. Plus they have delicious oils and vinegar to sample.
They also have OMG oils which are amazing and they make the best gifts.
