We stopped by here for breakfast before going to Discovery park. We ordered their chai and blueberry scones. Good chai and scones. Nice decors inside and they sell their own coffee beans. Great place to stop by in the morning.
Nice quiet setting to enjoy company or getting out the laptop. I was very comfortable sitting at the table without a jacket on. I had the hot chocolate without whipping cream. I felt it could have used more chocolate in the 16oz cup. The staff were very nice and greeted me with a smile. I will definitely return to have some coffee and relax from the busy city outside the door.
Love the decor, great coffee and real nice customer service I did a triple shot americano with a blueberry scone. I love the piano and wood trim I’ll be back
Everything about this coffee shop is a joy. The staff, and especially Ghazal, are rays of sunshine in Seattle’s cloudy weather. The drinks, the old school ambiance, the window display to the roastery, the drive thru, and especially the great drinks contribute to this being one of my favorite cafes in Seattle.
First off, I'll admit I'm a coffee snob, and by that I mean I'll take what I can get (like Starbucks) if there isn't anything better, but I do like high quality (illy's, Raven's Brew, Pegasus, etc.) I've had Caffé Appassionato coffee before at small vendors and it's not my favorite. The coffee is smooth, but had no particular flavor and is a super light roast. But I'm in the area for a class and this was the only coffee place in walking distance between the class and the hotel that opened early enough (class starts at 7:30am!). So, the coffee gets about 2 stars in my opinion. They do have a good selection of non-dairy milks. The service was 5 stars, very friendly and very quick. The atmosphere is 5 stars, love the heavy wood chairs and tables because they have better back support and don't wobble around like the cheap metal stuff. I especially like the window into the roasting machine area and the outdoor patio with the boarder of bushes.
Good coffee! Food felt okay. Would have liked more comfortable chairs in the indoor dining area.
What a great little gem! Never would’ve guessed it was here. Lovely outdoor seating, a baby(?) grand piano, big windows framing roses and hummingbird feeder, and friendly, awesome staff.
To the right as you enter, a glass wall divides the coffee roasting area, which is always fun to check out.
They have pastries, breakfast sandwich/burritos, baked juices, and obviously their menu is posted so there’s more.
There aren’t a ton of outlets but there is one within ten feet of all seating, I’d say.
I was here on a Wednesday morning around 10am, and only 2-5 people were also there, a couple of them were on their laptops.
Speedtest showed internet speed ~20 down, 3 up
Wonderful quaint roastery, management is hands on and well acquainted with the coffee business. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. It has a good patio in the summer time.
Spacious coffee shop with a lot of outdoor seatings
Deliciously smooth and soft mouth feel like a fine wine! Very friendly and inviting people. Charming atmosphere!
Delicious and creative lattes that aren’t pumped full of syrupy flavor. Their espresso is delicious and they even have a different selection of freshly made pastries everyday! Absolutely a better value than going to a chain for your morning coffee :)
Very good coffees. The women staff is really nice.
