Cool drive thru with quick, friendly service and reasonable prices. The shakes weren’t the best but the burgers made up for them. The fries are hand cut and resemble Dick’s fries. Will return soon. There’s a reason they’ve been around since 1949.
Not Quick but good. The burgers are made to order so they came out hot with crisp lettuce and pickles. The fry were hot as well. The overall meal could have used some salt but it was fresh and hot and delicious.
Always happy with the food from burgers to ice cream. Employees are very kind and patient.
Once I was harassed by a passerby while waiting for my order and the staff showed concern and were nice to me.
Drive thru was very busy. Food takes a little longer than other fast food. Food is fresh. Don't miss out on their ice cream cones. The ice cream is real ice cream and the chocolate is surprisingly delicious.
Protip: Park and walk to the window vs the drive thru.
Know what you're expecting here. I find this is what I always wanted In-and-out to taste like (I'm a CA transplant). It's still a fast food burger. Don't expect to have your burger pallette blown away here
Fries are better than In-and-out fries as well, but they can't be inconsistent.
Tasty burger and fries! Service is very good; staff are totally on the ball. Also very clean!
Parking is a bit tight, so drive thru easier than park and walk-up.
Originally from California, and our famous quick burger spot is In-n-Out. They have a small menu of only burgers, fries, and grilled cheese.
Now that I’m in Washington, I miss in-n-out, my wife and I came across Pick-Quick. I must say it is the long lost twin to in-n-out. In-n-Out came out 1948, Pick-Quick 1949.. very very similar!
Overall, I really enjoyed the food, my in-n-out away from home but the PNW version. Definitely will be a frequenter.
It's a drive thru pick up window only burger spot that has some amazing shakes or malts. No seating to eat after picking up food from order window. Cool spot good burgers.
I go here 2 times a week …best burger and best chili cheese fries in seattle and real ice cream milkshakes.
Really good burgers; they are somewhat similar to In-n-Out. Drive thru line was moving very slowly (almost 20 minutes to get thru), I think they were short staffed. And they gave me cheeseburgers rather than hamburgers as ordered. Overall - would go back based on the food quality if nothing else.
Great Deluxe burger, Triple patty.
Easily beats out fast food burgers.
Only reason a person wouldn't go is because they can't wait the drive thru line or in person line, which is about 5 to 10 minutes on a lunch rush.
as they say this is as close as it gets to in-n-out and their shakes are better. def worth a stop! on the deluxe 3 extra pickles cost $0.40 and extra onions was $0.50 though so that was :-/
Great Flavors at a Price
The quick review: it's delicious, but a little spendy unless you're working in tech or for Starbucks management. Burgers are small but bigger than Dick's (especially because of the vegetables). Get a Double Deluxe (~$5.25) with raw onions and some fries (~$2.79).
PICK-QUICK might not replace Dick's Drive-In for Seattle locals, but it's a nice, slightly higher-quality alternative (especially if you live in South Seattle -- an area not serviced by our beloved burger chain) that is absolutely worth trying.
First, the majority of the reviews are true: you're going to wait a lot longer as everything is made to order. For two Doubles and Fries, we waited about ten minutes; and it did seem that the drive-thru was prioritized over our walk-up order.
And about that -- just about everybody assumed the pickup area was where you ordered. Kind of a silly layout, once you see it (you order at the sidewalk).
Parking is very limited and the only area to eat besides a car is a small, unused counter corner next to the ordering window. It would be nice to have a bench table, but they're very obviously limited on space.
With that said, the burgers were nearly perfect. Great overall flavor with each layer complimenting the next. The beef had a decent crust (I'd prefer more, but at least they had it), perfectly melted "cheese paper" American cheese, a Dick's Deluxe-style special sauce, complimented by extremely crisp iceberg lettuce, a nice slice of tomato, along with a crunchy slice of sweet onion.
Perfectly greasy.
The Fries were great, but the portion is quite small. They're similar to Dick's (or In-n-Out), but not soggy. They were perfectly crispy, hot, and tasted a bit like Pringles.
Their shakes use amazingly high-quality ice cream, but are a bit too thick and could use a bit more whole milk in the ratio. The same goes for the malts -- a little too strong.
The price is a little steep, and I'm curious to try the original locations; but overall, I want to applaud the owners for maintaining a quality standard.
Thanks for the tasty burger, PICK-QUICK crew!
So reading other reviews I found this hidden burger joint in the Sodo district... I have NO complaints when it comes to this Drive thru burger spot! Burgers are good, Floats are good. I really like this place. Bit of a wait if its busy, but well worth it!
Awesome drive through burger spot! This is my ideal burger with no frills. Just a classic American cheeseburger with fresh ingredients and a good sauce.
Staple for drive thru burgers. Generally recommended to eat the food within 10 minutes of ordering. It’s good after that but not nearly as tasty as when the food is eaten by about 10 minutes max.
