I visited the Falafel Salam in Georgetown on a nice Wednesday afternoon. I had ordered food online for pickup and waited a few minutes for the order. This location is just a food stand, but there are picnic tables for sitting to eat or wait. The gentlemen running the stand was friendly and I think since I was the only online order remembered the name on the order. I have been to the West Seattle location and was really impressed with the food as well as the thick pita. This stand didn’t disappoint either. I ordered the purple slaw pita with chicken shawarma and it was amazing. The heavily spiced chicken was savory and delicious and paired with the crunchy purple cabbage with a hint of acid made for a well rounded meal. I also got a few pita to go and a bottle of their aioli and everything was delicious. I’m glad they have the food stand because with the West Seattle bridge out it’s hard to get over there. I will definitely be back.
I got the pita wrap with chicken and traditional toppings. And hot sauce. Also got a side of falafel with tahini sauce. Everything was fantastic. The pita was soooo soft. the chicken was tender. There was tons of sauce, which is no trouble for me. Friendly service and out door seating.
The best in the west.
Always good always tasty always clean.
Order online it’s so easy and fast.
The falafel is so crisp and fresh.
Try the Hesitator Combo if you not sure but you will love it all.
Definitely my favorite Middle Eastern spot. Food tastes so fresh here! Falafel is crispy, and I also really like the hot sauce- actually tastes like fresh peppers. Staff is also friendly!
Stumbled upon this little gem of a trailer restaurant while we were out shopping in the Georgetown area and we were blown away by the care and quality that they put into their food here. My wife has significant food allergies and the owner was able to speak to every single dish since he hand prepares everything and she was able to eat a delicious meal without any concern. The meats (grass-fed and free-range) were well-seasoned and juicy. The pitas were thick and fluffy, unlike any I have ever had before. Excellent sauces with a little optional additional heat if you like spicy. And finally, the desert mousse was amazing and unlike any I've had before with a subtle sweetness that perfectly capped off our dining. Personally, the best Middle Eastern food I have had in Seattle in the last several years.
We were visiting Georgetown and just happened to drive by this little trailer and I am so glad I was overcome with the need for Mediterranean food! I got the hesitation platter (You get a little bit of everything) and a side of garlic fries. The fries were great, the garlic sauce was amazing! The lamb and chicken were perfectly cooked and well spiced, both salads were great, there was a fermented mango dressing that was really good (tasted of turmeric) and a big fluffy pita. The falafel tasted just right. I've had so many bad and bland or overly herbed falafel that I didn't have high hopes, but oh man...they were excellent. We'll definitely be back for this!
Their chicken and purple slaw with pickled veggies changed my life for the better. The baba ghanouj, falafel and hummus are delicious. The garlic fries and creamy garlic sauce are amazing. If you get a chance, eat here!
I had heard about this falafel truck in Georgetown for a couple years and just tried it tonight. Best falafel I’ve had. So fresh and light, not greasy at all. I’ll be a regular now.
5 stars, the best☺️ I love the rice bowl with falafel it was still being cooked fresh when I got there to pick it up. Finished it all in one sitting definitely recommend! 🤤🤤
This is by far my favorite lunch place in Georgetown. The food is tasty, quick, and well priced. Most of their to go packaging is compostable (yay!)
Absolutely amazing flavor and quality falafel and shawarma! The best food stand or truck in Seattle. It's not even close.
We had a Lamb Gyro and a Falafel/Chicken rice bowl, both were DELICIOUS!! We will be back!!
Freshly made dishes. Variety of options from quick bites to a full meal. Prices on par with similar establishments. Friendly service.
I used to eat here a lot before volunteering at shows! It's a cool spot in my favorite neighborhood.
Go to lunch! At least once a week in Georgetown.
