The food was insanely delicious. We ordered soft shell crab appetizer and had to order a second one it was so good. A fresh roll and rice noodle dish with delicious ginger martini's made it for a perfect all around meal.
Freaking love this food! Amazing space, great food. Like some of the best Thai food I've had in Seattle. Soft shell crab appetizer is wonderful!
Excellent food and service. This is where quality collide with taste. Grass fed beef and organic vegetables in thai food = yum!!
This place is very amazing, the food has alot of flavor and is tastey. The people who work there are generous and amazing.
So fresh and delicious. I got an Avocado Mango salad with Prawns that was to die for!
Awesome place...delicious food great service...coconut prawns are my husbands favorite....I like everything ....perfect seasoning....will come back for more.thanks AKA
There are many good Thai places on the hill, but this one is very much worth a visit! The best tom yum soup I've had. Very nice space, parking spots & great full leaf teas. Option to have Chinese broccoli vs. regular is aces too. Definitely will be coming back!
I get to-go all the time ! The owners and staff are so friendly. And they even saved my order for when I call in a to go order :)
Excellent, fresh ingredients, and genuine people. :)
Pad see yew (spelling is probably wrong!).
Egg noodles instead of rice noodles, With veggies. My favorite!
Yummy! Great food quality. Excellent service. They also do delivery.
Panang Curry is my go to dish at most Thai restaurants. The Panang Curry at Thudsuan is THE best I have EVER had. Wow.
The KINDEST family running this business, laid back environment, super welcoming alongside perfect food. The owners sources fresh, local ingredients daily. Please go! ❤️
Garlic Chicken with oyster sauce was as fantastic as the service. . And lil girl running around is adorable and very friendly:-)

I really like the design of the restaurant, they have garage doors that open the whole restaurant. It's a nice open concept. The service was great, our server had a smile on his face, was friendly, and helpful. The food was just ok. I had the crispy garlic chicken and some pieces of the chicken were too tough to chew, but the garlic sauce was yummy. My husband had the pad thai, it tasted like how pad thai should taste. We shared the spring rolls, which was probably the best dish out of the three.
Had a lovely lowkey lunch here just now, and the service was as fantastic as the food. I loved the chicken pad thai, and unlike some places I've had it, the sticky rice and custard wasn't overwhelmingly coconutty; it was just right. I have to eat gluten-free, dairy-free, and nightshade-free because of some stomach issues, so it was great to find options that tick all those boxes. I'll be back for another plate on this trip!
I am a travel nurse and hosted a meetup event at the restaurant, and Boyd was amazing to work with. He had a large table set up for the event which was ~18 people in attendance. He also had a special happy hour menu made just for my event. The portions were perfect and everyone raved about the food. Everything is made so well and fresh! I spent a year in Thailand last year and can testify that the food is VERY comparable to the food I ate in Thailand. Boyd is originally from Thailand so the food is authentic. He is so accommodating and kind; I could not thank him and his staff for the space for me to host my event and for all his help in a very successful event! This is my second time at Thudsuan, and it definitely won't be my last!
I have had Thai food elsewhere several times and really never cared.for it. Came.here today with some coworkers and I think I have been missing out! The chicken pad thai was amazing, and the gyoza was on point! The iced tea is blue, but purely delicious! I will definitely be back!!
Yummy food, reasonable price, really recommend 👍👍👍👍👍
This place is fantastic! The prices are SO reasonable for the area, the food is good, and there's a healthy variety of it. It has the best family run restaurant vibes to it too, it's just good. Staff is also really friendly, there's genuinely nothing to dislike!
My favorite Thai takeout in Cap Hill. High quality, consistent food with friendly staff. Not the place to do a night out, but I’d get the takeout every night of the week. I’ve tried around 5 things on the menu and it’s all been fantastic. Highly recommend. Green Curry is my current favorite.
BEST THAI FOOD I've ever had! Don't be discouraged by the location. I've lived in several major cities on west coast and I'm telling you, this place makes the best Thai food. The ingredients they use are really fresh and every single dish I've had was so delicious...shout out to the coconut prawns (to die for). I've been a consistent customer almost weekly (can't help myself). Also, it's family owned and operated. Stop looking for other Thai food places!! Eat here!!!
Awesome summer lounge! They have two garage doors that open and I highly recommend their $5 lychee flavored sangria on the happy hour menu!
Very nice decor. Wait staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, WOW! A Bombay Martini for $5, no way. We will be back.
I started coming here when I moved into the neighborhood and now I am a weekly regular. The food is super yummy and the people genuinely care about providing a great experience for their customers. I always enjoy chatting with the owners and their family because they are so friendly. The decor is clean and simple with high-quality table setting.
If you don't know what to get, I suggest asking for a recommendation. I learned about a few dishes that I probably wouldn't tried, which are now new favorites. Their spicy peanut sauce is home-made and delicious. I would buy a jar of it if I could.
I placed a to go order for pad thai and mango sticky rice yesterday. I really liked the lacy egg garnish and the ribbon-like green onion, plus the fact that I asked for 3 spice and it was actually spicy. I also have a mango sticky rice obsession and this place made the best I have had by far!!
The person who took my order was sweet and genuine, too.
When I picked up my order, the restaurant looked nice: a blend of industrial meets zen. The staff said the mango was really good today, and because I was so zapped from being in the sun all day, I didn’t comprehend at first, but he politely repeated himself. That mango sticky rice was the perfect combination of cold to warm, sweet to savory, and sticky to crunchy, I would have loved to have that for breakfast even. I can’t wait to try other dishes.
We love Thudsuan! We happened upon it because we used to live nearby. Even after we moved, we still eat here whenever we can.
Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Best Pad Thai in Seattle! Delicious red curry. And the corn fritters are OMG good!
If you haven’t eaten here, do yourself a favor and try it.
My husband and I love Thudsuan Thai! It is the best in Seattle by far. We go there at least every other week. The owner and his family are the absolute greatest, they always takes great care of us and makes sure that we have a good meal.
The restaurant itself is super clean, quiet and nice looking. We have never had a bad experience and they always remember us which is a great feeling too.
As for the food itself, it's amazing. And, the price is very reasonable. Seattle tends to be expensive for food but Thudsuan provides great prices for the best quality.
Pretty good Thai food, but due to location, this place is always empty. I can recommend it if you want a quiet night. If you live nearby, you can trust them for a delicious take-out. Their basil fried rice with a vegetable mix is amazing!
Consistently excellent, high-quality food. Authentic, family run Thai restaurant with nice atmosphere and friendly, attentive service. Take out is always perfectly timed. And there’s parking too.
I had the Thai green curry with Jasmine rice. It was heavenly because it was raining and a warming bowl of curry goodness was just what I needed. I also got some hot tea to go with my meal, and that was great too! I also had the spring rolls, but they were just alright.
We are Thai food snobs and this place totally nails it. Amazing food. Fantastic drink menu. Super nice and responsive wait staff. Family owned and operated. Great happy hour. Big pull-up garage doors open onto 19th for fresh open air seating on a nice day on quiet street. Lovely.
