They have the best hash I have ever tasted. I don't remember the last time I cleared my whole plate, but I did at Toronado. The bacon was perfectly cured and cooked. The bartender is super nice and the chef Joey is always coming up with amazing new things. We had the Chocolate Stoat ice cream and it was delicious. 10/10 would recommend the brunch to anyone. Am planning on going back for dinner this week.

My husband and I just happened to pop in here for a quick bite, and we found our new favorite restaurant! We loved everything!!! The staff are awesome!! So knowledgeable, friendly, and professional!! The food....oh my goodness. The Modern Cheese sauce is pure magical goodness. The BLT was a spiritual experience with the homemade griddled beer bread, the beef bacon, and tomato jam!! The chef, Matt, stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our liking. The cocktails are perfect and list of beers amazing. A delightful experience!

Excellent vibe as we walked in on Kung Fu Reggae Thursday. Service was awesome. Food was really top notch. Husband had the steak, said it was probably the best steak he had ever had (and was only $20!). We will be back.

Great beers, great food, and great bartenders! I always ask for their suggestion for which beer I should have and they always have great ideas! Great for a big crowd or just chillin' on your own at the bar.

It's a Toronado, in Seattle. What more needs to be said?! Amazing tap list, bourbon, and food. Good for happy hour if the normal prices scare ya.

So stoked for this! Been homesick for my North Park Toronado for a few years now. Thanks for making the investment in Ravenna/Roosevelt. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Friendly staff. Really good burgers (other food looked good too). And of course a large selection of regional craft beers. Lots of events. Also an extensive collection of whiskeys and other liquors for those inclined towards that. Definitely worth a visit.

This place is a moderate sized bar/restaurant that boasts 40 taps of beer, mixed drinks and an impressive menu. Street parking is available nearby for no charge and the location is easily found off of the 65th St exit. Inside the restaurant, there are tables for dining as well as a clearly designated bar. Bartender has a friendly attitude, demonstrating expertise in drink craftsman and beer selection. Owner was present on the day of visit and appears positively involved with the establishment and its guests. A new menu was recently released and it features special fare such as beer BBQ shortribs, standards like macaroni, a fresh seasonal pasta dish and several homemade desserts. On this visit, I had the opportunity to talk with Chef Joey and learn a bit about his culinary creations and what inspired him. He was very passionate about his work and seemed to always be looking for new ideas for the menu. It was evident that all of the ingredients are fresh, local and homemade with plenty of care. The beer BBQ ribs were suggested along with some "ginger-cornbread" and bourbon glazed carrots. The ribs came out perfectly, falling off the bone. Some may say that there are some fatty parts to the meat, but pork short ribs generally have a higher fat content and these ones were cooked to perfection so it wasn't noticeable. The ginger-cornbread was full of flavour and definitely a suggested menu item. Desserts available include everything from a cast-iron fruit cobbler to beer infused ice-cream. Their brunch special runs on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30-2:30 and features local favorites such as homemade beerbread french toast, eggs benedict and other commonly found breakfast entrées. The bathrooms are clean and the restaurant is generally well kept. This impressive corner spot is a place I recommend for anyone seeking to try new beers as well as the well-palated food critic. Toronado will not disappoint.

Decent tap list, food was good. Don't know if I'll get the mac and cheese again, not sure how I feel about veggies in my m&c. The nachos were tasty though.

Probably the best Toronado location I've been to which I am sure is contrary to popular opinion. I'll admit that it was probably the time of day I visited compared to the locations in San Diego and San Francisco which were packed when I went. The beer selection is excellent and the service was very good too.

Great beer bar and solid food offerings. They have a wide variety of whiskey, too, but I don't drink it seems while it looks top shelf I'd look to others to provide more guidance there. The staff are really nice people who are also beer fans. Great neighborhood place. Highly recommended.

I've been going here regularly for a couple of years. It's my favorite bar, for too many reasons to name. To start, there is the huge selection of high quality beers and liquors. Everything on the menu is excellent. It has the best brunch in Seattle and nobody knows about it. Good happy hour. They do lots of special events and promotions. BOGO burgers every Monday... I'll stop there for now. Two thumbs way up.

I love this bar! Build your own macaroni, yum! Been here for several events and always have a great time. Servers are very fun and personal.. always great service. Usually not too busy so you'll be able to get a table most day/nights. Many local brews on draft. Again, food is amazing. Right on bus line and has street parking.

The food was incredible. Very friendly staff, wait time for food pretty fast. Most of all consistency. I moved away for a year and when I came back the food was even better. They're going to start serving breakfast there. The owner told us what the menu will look like. I think it'll be the best breakfast place in the Roosevelt area.

We had a great time at Tornado, the owner, main beer exhibitor and the head chef , checked in with us to see if we were happy with our food etc. Steak was really good, though slightly salty. The beer flight from Firestone brewery was fantastic. Casual restaurant so don't worry about dressing up. Not the place for you if you don't like dark loud bars.

Had the best nachos in my life here. They piled on the toppings so much that for once I didn't have a plate full of chips left over, instead we had cheese and meat on the plate left after the chips were gone! The beer selection is great, and they have an extensive whiskey selection. Will absolutely come here again!

This place has an excellent selection of beers. The decor is a little bit dark and grungy however I believe that is what they were going for. The food is excellent, of note are the customizable mac and cheese plates. The prices are a little bit on the high side given the materials used however that's not to be unexpected in this neighborhood. I would definitely recommend at least once.

This is my favourite bar. 40 rotating taps and an expansive tequila and scotch list. I suppose there are whisky and other liquids listed but... The best is here. I don't usually order a specific drink, I order by midm or flavor and an never disappointed. Good is pretty good too.

I've been coming here for years, and early on, the food was a little off the mark. They have definitely hit their stride now and the food is excellent (probably due to local bar competition). Went there for brunch on a football Sunday and was pleasantly uncrowded (unlike the "Browns" bar in the same building).

I've gone here several times now. Usually on week days when it's easy to get a good beer and excellent service, but most recently during a beer event on a Friday night. The food and service were still excellent, and it was really fun to be there for the Boneyard One Off event. They list their events on their website (as well as sharing on social media) and I see a few other fun things I might have to stop in for.

I went for the Crux brewing barrel-aged beer event. I appreciate the very large and easily accessible taplist. The event was great, featuring several amazing beers I wouldn't have tried anywhere other that the actual featured brewery in Bend. Additionally, the snacks were good, though a little pricey.

This is absolutely my favorite neighborhood bar. The rotating beer selection is amazing. The tamales are killer. Make sure to smother them in secret aardvark hot sauce. The bartenders are amazingly friendly. Could not recommend more.
