06/01/23: it is always a great pho location for everyone. I love their delicious and tasty broth. This hidden gem pho is worth your time to visit. I live nearby so it is quite convenient to grasp a hot delicious bowl of Pho Dac Biet in the morning before jumping into any crazy works

Pro: great authentic pho, at a fair price. Con: cash-only, with a difficult menu, in a somewhat beat-up building. Go if you're looking for a warm, filling, veggie-rich meal at a dive.

Love their raw beef steak noodle soup, which is the best broth I’ve eaten.

This restaurant is the impedemy of don't judge a book by its cover. Just looking at this place from the outside. I would have never tried this place out. Then you walk inside and it's the same as the outside. But, my brother told me how good this place is. And he ain't lying. The broth was full of flavor, with plenty of meat. Perfect temperature. Very tasty. This place only takes cash.

The perpetual rock of Vietnamese food in the community! They've been here forever. There's bars on the windows. And nothing about the structure says that this is a restaurant. Despite all of the faults it is the best soup you will get on this side of the Pacific. The friendly staff greet you and seat you. They will gladly show off their massive pots of boiling meat if you're curious about them. And then serve you. The soup is the best. It's unbelievable how all other Pho falls away when you eat at Pho Bac. The chow mein may be a whimpy choice but it's also incredible. I can't imagine anything is bad. This is where you want to eat. But remember...cash only.

Good pho with friendly service. The place is a bit run down but they will be remodeling soon.

You go for the food! If you can get past the fluff of Americanized dining and service - this place deserves the 5 stars. This place is what it is and it’s perfect. Cons: CASH ONLY, Dirty area, sometimes difficult parking, not every table has a menu (I had to run and take a picture of the menu up front so I could look at it at my table 😂), and not super attentive servers (you may have to be assertive with your needs). Pros: THE BEST PHO I’ve had here in Washington! It reminded us of our visit to Vietnam. Fresh veggies, quality meat, clean and delicious broth, and hot tea. All the pho seemed to be the same cost with price only rising with the size. However, they do not skimp with anything! You get a lot of meat, a lot of noodles, a lot of broth, and a small was almost too much for me! Will definitely be back ^_^

Got this to go during quarantine and it's amazing! Lots of meat and flavorful broth. Everything is packaged very neatly as well. I would definitely recommend!

It smelled good from the outside. I was greeted by an older lady and she let me choose where to sit! She brought out hot tea ☕️ then I ordered my usual pho chin bo vien. It was brought out quickly and I really enjoyed the broth. I took off one star because the place wasn’t clean and I noticed the meat had a strange coloring… but that didn’t stop me from eating it 🤢 I liked that this restaurant open early!!

Nut friendly. Two people working. Busy as heck with Asian families. Some guy driving on the sidewalk mid meal. Massive meat portions cooking in the hot soup in front of you. That's all you need for authenticity. Cash only.

This is our new favorite place for pho. It’s delicious! When you go, keep in mind; • You are NOT going for the decor • They only take cash • They have Chinese donuts 🥳 • They don’t have sriracha 🙁 PS I probably wouldn’t go late at night.

Cash only restaurant In a nice spot with parking for atleast 5-6 cars on prem and also lots of street parking Dishes cost 2-3$ more than a regular Vietnamese restaurant in the neighborhood or intown..but food was good, nothing stood out We ordered the beef pho with brisket and a prawn vermicelli bowl. Quantity : 5/5 Taste : 4/5 Ambience of the store : 3/5 Prices: 3/5 Staff: 5/5 Looks like the store has gone through a lot of break-ins like every other spot in this stretch. Plus a lot of graffiti work.

Best pho in Seattle by a mile away - I won’t be able to order from my local spot now that I’ve tried the pho here. I had the pho ga and the broth was so flavorful. Excellent broth to noodle ratio. Best I’ve had outside of Vietnam. Also tried the bun bo xao which was pretty on point and generally hard to find locally. Can’t wait to come back 🍜 Cash only!

A hot bowl of phô from the kind folks at Phô Bac is pretty tough to beat. It's consistently delicious. It's a pretty large space that can be a bit chilly in the cooler months, but dang, that phô is so so good.

Ferna Kinata - Phobac is back!!! Well pho bac has few branch and thank God one of our friend told us that the “oldies” are now located in the Rainier branch. So here we are, back to that hearty, bold broth. How I miss this flavor! The place is ridiculosly hot, so not exactly perfect for summer. And the sunlight doesn’t help at all. But for a soup of hearty pho, I believe I can handle this. First time trying their bun, the sauce is good but not thrilled to find that the noodle is warm when they served it. If only they serve it cold-ly, this would be the perfect dish. #fernaventuraseattle #phobac #pho #bun #vietnamesefood #seattlefoodguide @ Phobac Restaurant

I love Pho Bac. I’ve been coming here for 14 years, and even though there are other pho spots nearby, this one has my heart and my business. Their broth is amazing and they thin slice their rare beef and it arrives at the table still pink and cooking. Cash only, so hit the ATM on your way!

Service can be kind of slow because they're a little understaffed right now, but the pho is absolutely worth the wait. Best pho ga I've ever had. I keep coming back here and every time I taste the pho ga, I get amazed all over again.

I fancy myself a pho connoisseur, and this is the best pho I’ve had. Not a fancy place. Great pho.
