Really friendly staffs, comfy atmosphere and delicious Indonesian food. I was there with my Indo friend and she approved! We ordered several dishes and liked Mie Tek Tek the best. They were kind to make it a vegetarian version with tofu.
Love this place. The beef Randan, beef soup, all so good. Food is prepared very authentically and with lots of love!!! Get the green chillin, so bomb and spicey. If I were in school again I'd come here all the time!
Love the food its probably the best indo food in town n they have a awesome n friendly manager who always wear a smile
Very good home cook style food and super delicious tea. Staffs are all super nice and remember your face after few visits. Decorations of the store is another highlight!
Great food and service. The chicken were moist and hmmm hmmm good in every dish! Very accommodating and quiet ambience.
Great food, great people, great price. Portion was generous too. I will come back.
A nice addition to the choices on the Ave. Spicy, tasty, and comfortable.
One of best Indonesian foods in Seattle. The taste is authentic, the staff is friendly, the location is easy to find in U Distric popular area. They closed early at 5 PM. The first time we came at 4.30 PM but they didn't received any order. The next week, we need to wait our table approximately 20 minutes. I highly recommend the Soto Ayam. Definitely will back to try more menus
Cozy place to stop by in this area! See a lot cute decor all over the place in the first sight.
Service: 10/10 friendly, food came out fast
Hainan Chicken: 8/10 pretty good, however I think the seasoning is little weak
Popcorn chicken(sorry no photos): 5/10 I think they use chicken breast instead of chicken thigh, which may be healthier consider of fat. However it tastes dry and not juicy at all. Plus, it tastes very plain. Need more seasoning.
Fried Ice Cream (vanilla): 7/10 it’s okay, outside shell not quite crispy.
Overall: 8/10 and recommend.
I came here for lunch wanting chicken, so I ordered the lunch portion of the hainanese chicken. The food was piping hot and exactly what I needed after feeling run down from being sick. The amount of food was perfect for me, but may be a bit small for others. Not pictured, I also ordered the avocado smoothie and loved it for a sweet treat. Overall the food was delicious and tasted home-cooked, and the staff were extremely friendly and quick to clean up tables.
Wonderful taste and selection of Indonesian food. Quality is great
Authentic Indonesian food! Delicious, underrated and hidden gem
Great food, friendly staff. Would highly recommend for a good lunch spot

If you guys are looking for an Indonesian Restaurant, you guys should try Beetle Cafe. Highly recommend!! 👍👍👍👍👌👌
Had the hainan chicken rice and the mie tek tek. The hainan chicken was excellent, and some sauces were good. The rice definitely wasn’t up to par though as it was a little soggy. Mie tek tek was great. Would not recommend the popcorn chicken. I like the portion size; just enough without being too huge.
Also my cup for water seemed a little dirty. The space is cute with interesting decor
Pocket friendly place located in university district. I loved their ambiance and decor which is really cool. We tried their pop corn chicken and Tofu Mie Tek Tek. The portions are good enough to fill your tummy for a very decent price. Loved the food which was not the usual high soya tasting noodles and with big tofu pieces. I loved the noodles here and the chicken popcorn too!
i neverrrrr review on anything to be honest (unless they are absolutely horrible), but this place is so freaking awesome that I decided I want to give it a review. The price for food here is so reasonable and affordable. The people that works here are kind, and welcoming. However, these are not the resin that I gave this place a 5 star and a review. The chicken Hainan here is freaking amazing. For $10, you get 4 sauces, a bowl of soup(slap real hard), and a box of chicken hainan that can really fill you up! I kept coming back. The only thing tho, I wish they would open past 5/6, that’s when I crave them the most I swear😩😩😩😩
Also I saw they have durian smoothie on their menu. I would probably try it the next time I go🤓
This is one of the very few places I can find that serves unique Indonesian dishes. Specifically Balinese. Love this place so much. ❤️ And fantastic prices
Very nice staff. Came in for lunch special Hainanese Chicken which came with soup, 16oz tea, and a fried spring roll. At $8+tax, the price is excellent! They offer free wifi and also had plenty of wall outlets so I was able to stick around and do some work after eating.
Sarah the owner is super friendly! Very upfront about the deals & specials they got and will let you know before you order. The food is authentic and they have lots of options for all their appetizers, entrees, beverages and desserts.
Affogato was really good! Decorations inside were cute
The owner is always very nice and friendly. The price is decent. 99% of time ordered Hainan chicken, which is authentic.

Really nice, mellow atmosphere. The people who work here remember you. Food is good and affordable, especially the lunch special. I come here several times a week, usually. Starts to get busier after ~1:30 during the week, but still tables are available.
The food is phenomenal and the owner is super friendly!!
Great place to eat if you are looking for an authentic food!
