The teriyaki chicken is solid. Simple, delicious, and hits the spot. The yakisoba was a bit meh. More like chow mein than yakisoba. And the ingredients tasted a bit like plastic wrap. Perhaps because that was how they were stored.

This is the go-to Teriyaki place in the area. Food is delicious and reasonably portioned and priced. They make it fresh and the service is very friendly. The price has increased a bit over the years, but considering inflation and the cost of doing business, it seems reasonable.

Sunny Teriyaki has been a favorite place since we discovered it many years ago. Located in a gas station plaza, parking is limited and gets especially busy during lunch time. Portions are excellent, Prior to kids my husband and I could order two entries and we would easily have enough leftovers for another meal, now with two entries we can feed a family of four. Our go to dishes photographed below are Tofu Yakisoba and add Goza, and Chicken Teriyaki. The veggies are fresh, the noodles are cooked perfectly. Their overall Seattle City cleanliness rating is "Good"

My husband and kids are obsessed with Sunny Teriyaki!! My husband, and 16 year old son always get the spicy all white chicken breast, chicken teriyaki and my daughter and I love the spring rolls and I absolutely love the vegetarian yakisoba!!! Yum! They also have amazing tempura prawns (deep fried tempura prawns) that we just realized we’re on the appetizer menu. Those are so great so we’ve been missing out and will definitely be ordering those again!!!

Been working in the neighborhood for nearly ten years and I’ve eaten here hundreds of times. Great people making delicious food, you can’t ask for much more from a neighborhood teriyaki joint. The chicken teriyaki slaps. Recommend ordering an extra side of teriyaki sauce to really maximize your sauce-to-rice ratio.

Small quaint restaurant. The food is plentiful for the price. I have eaten there 3 times already. The lady at the counter is very nice. I do not understand the negative reviews. I make my own choices and then review. I would return.

Got the spicy chicken teriyaki and a jarritos. It was the perfect meal after 3 hours wandering around discovery park with my dog. The portion size was very generous and the spice level was just enough to taste without being painful. I'll definitely be back the next time we're out walking in this neighborhood!

One of better teriyaki spots I been too. The spicy chicken is really great. Been here a bunch of times, always consistent, always great. Love the owners of this place. Happy to see them still doing their thing after many years.

Ordered combo beef and chicken with separate gyoza order for take out. Person who answered phone confirmed this was the Magnolia location (great custo service) and order was ready quickly with great food and fair portions for price. In the extraordinary times of pandemic it was nice to be taken care of. Recommended!

Teriyaki places are usually big hit or big miss. Happy to report this was a big hit. When I went in, the young woman at the counter was on a phone call but clearly it was important so I didn't mind waiting. She flagged a gentleman from the back who came and took my order, took my money, and, after a few min, had my food ready. It was cooked to perfection. Not too much sauce and a little bit was provided on the side. The rice was a little sticky which is always the best way. The chicken wasn't overcooked or stringy. Sadly, I don't live up that way but if I did, this would definitely be a go-to for me. highly recommended.

This place is great. Always quick service. They have the standard array of teriyaki options. Their portions are extremely generous, it is hard not to eat it all because it is so delicious but filling. The chicken is cooked right and the rice is soft and a little sticky.

Great prices and the food is always delicious. The spicy isn't too saucy, so there's no overlying vinegar flavor and the marinade they use doesn't take like chemicals so that's a plus! The service is great and they're always super friendly. I eat here 2-3 times a month easily.

I was in the mood for some classic Seattle style teriyaki the other week, and all the spots near me were closed! So I made the drive out to Magnolia, and boy was it worth it, this place is super good, the portions are huge, and it you can tell they have they're own flavor to the sauce, I may not make it out here often, but it's a great place to get a Seattle classic.
