Lovely little local gem. Nice variety of pastries. Ordered the holiday package - pistachio cheesecake but the picture didn’t make it. Highly recommend to check their seasonal items as well.
These desserts are absolutely delicious! I wasn't sure how to enter this place because it is inside of a building and beside a restaurant. I thought this place was part of that restaurant, but once I entered to the building I noticed that it was a separate business and I decided to try some of the desserts they have and I got very surprised because they have a lot of options and many of the desserts were made with passion fruit. I think the desserts change every once in a while, but the ones I tried were amazing! I really recommend going to this place! These desserts are for takeout. There's not dine in in this place.
We attended a private dessert tasting here and it was even better than we expected. One member of our party was unexpectedly unable to attend, and the lucky person who joined us instead has celiac. We let Rod and Mark know upon our arrival, expecting that maybe one of the desserts could be made gluten free, and they surprised us by making adjustments so that three of the four were celiac safe. The service was impeccable, and the desserts and wine pairings were phenomenal. We will be back for future tastings.
Triple Chocolate Cake!!! Very moist cake & warm liquid chocolate topping pairs perfectly to cure your sweet tooth. Be aware this shop is take out only :)
R&M Dessert Bar was a wonderful find on my trip through Seattle. The desserts and experience was unforgettable. The chocolate truffle cake was served warm, made with high quality chocolate, and with a satisfying texture to make a perfect dessert in combination with the chocolate crème and whipped cream (all house made). Not only was the food incredible but the owner, Rod, was kind and wonderful to talk to, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend you stop by for a wonderful dessert!
Small establishment inside a building that is easy to miss. We had the Dulce de Leche and loved it. I couldn't stop eating. Prices are steep but worth the occasional splurge. I'm definitely going back.
Open until late and exceptionally good deserts. Skip the dessert menu at the restaurant and stop by this place.
They don't have a seating area, so you'll have to take it home, or eat like an animal in the car, which is what I did.

Absolutely LOVED R&M Dessert Bar! Their selection is amazing, they’re very knowledgeable and the ambiance is perfect. The desserts flavor were out of this world! I went there last night with my friend during our visit to Seattle and I’m so sad that I have to leave because I really just want to go R&M Dessert Bar every week!
Went here last night for the first and had s lovely time. The desserts were around $10 and very tasty. They event have pie orders did the holidays!!
(Photographed is a pear hazelnut crisp and behind in the blackberry tart) YUM!
Incredible.
Rod and Marc (the owners) have the best positive vibe that its always a pleasure to converse and just to come here.
I visit this place what seems like every weekend to grab a dessert. They bring out new items once they perfect the recipe and it is definitely worth it. I don't think people understand baking is a science that takes precision.
I've tried everything on the current menu. Their tarts are amazing with the lemon raspberry being one of my favorites. They dialed in the raspberry reduction to a T that had just the right amount of sweetness. They use real lemons, no artificials or substitutes, and that gives it a perfect taste that doesn't overwhelm you. They also perfected their curds like the one found in their awesome Pistachio meringue dome dessert.
The cakes are always fluffy and never dry. Like many on here the Ferrero Rocher cake is my favorite and a must try. Open till 2am on weekends is a huge bonus since i can just go after having dinner. This isn't some cheap place like a Krispy Kreme, it definitely reminds me of some higher end places back home in Los Angeles.
I can really go on forever describing all their desserts but it is a lot easier if you go try it for yourself.
Thank me later!
So good! I had the chocolate dessert and I can’t stop thinking about it. I took it home and easily heated it up as the directions instructed.
This is one of my favorite bakeries in Capitol Hill! Everything is baked fresh and there is outdoor seating around the corner at a little park. I've tried almost everything, but the tres leches cake is so good!!! Each item is about $10 and well worth it! Gluten free and dairy free items are delicious too 😋
Dessert chef Rod (with his partner) makes the lowly fruit crumble gourmet, with raspberry balsamic sauce and real vanilla ice cream into something original yet comforting. Everything here is worth salivating over, and I did, choosing to avoid the Starbucks Reserve down the street for the far superior, non-corporate, lovingly handmade delights of R&M.
Delicious dessert bar! The tarts are beautiful and each one comes plated with its own little whipped cream, chocolate ganache, or raspberry compote! Marc and Rod were friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
The triple chocolate cake is amazing!!! My husband & I got them to go, and followed the reheat instructions which turned out perfect! This dessert is so yummy and you will not be disappointed!
