I work a block away from this place & have been here often over the last 2 years. They have really good teriyaki & sushi, super fresh & delicious. I've liked everything that I have tried. Solid spot. Only downside is that they randomly won't be open and I can't satisfy my cravings!

This place is a gem. The service was great, the sushi was extremely fresh and priced reasonably. I'll be back for more.

Love the place. But please put less teriyaki sauce to the rice. I didnt even use the extra sauce but my rice was dipped in sauce. Too much sauce!

The food was average. The soup came in bloody Tupperware for some reason & taste like instant. The sushi rolls were very good, although the lady up front forgot what came in what.

This is a great go-to sushi place close to UW. The specials are good, and the portions are pretty big.

I give them 5 stars because they capture an unique atmosphere of a little shop in a back street of Ikebukuro. My Bento came with fresh prepared firm Tofu. The sashimi was fresh and tasty. Yes, it was served in plastic dishes, but that's why it seems so comfortable. Felt like a Pachinko parlor was just up the street.

The food is fantastic! All the fish is super fresh and it's one of the better sushi places I have tried near the university. Beware of their prices though, since we got overcharged on our last visit because we didn't look at the strange special apparently. If you're going to get 3 rolls, make sure they aren't the basic ones, since there's a fixed 3 roll special price that can be more than the price of just 3 basic rolls normally. That was confusing, but the food itself was good.

I went in with no expectations. The restaurant is nothing fancy by any means but the portion sizes reasonable and prices are fair for what you get. Chicken teriyaki was delicious and the Mexican sushi roll was impressive. I got the fried rice not knowing the chicken came with white rice and that was also really good as far as fried rice goes. For something casual this place is great. I'll definitely come again.

Love this place ☺️ I like to get the bento box with chicken teriyaki and the crunch roll or California roll. You get a lot of food with the bento box - a good portion of rice and teriyaki, a side salad, miso soup, 2 pieces of gyoza and your choice of sushi I think it’s a good deal! The staff is always very kind, the woman who is normally taking orders/payment is super sweet every time. One time I realized I was short on cash and didn’t have my card, I told them I didn’t need my can of soda but they gave it to me free. My favorite teriyaki spot in the U!

Such nice staff and service, reasonable prices, and delicious food. The teriyaki bento box is so much food for a low price--it is my favorite thing to order. Everything I have ordered from Big Tuna has been delicious and fresh. From hot food to sushi, I recommend this place for takeout.

Big Tuna was the first restaurant I had in Seattle and it is still one of my favorite spots in the city. It's a little hole-in-the-wall that you don't expect to be so good, but it is delicious. I highly recommend their sesame chicken and any of their sushis.

I've been sleeping on this place! I moved back to Seattle in December 2017 after living in Bellingham for a little over 5 years. In Bellingham, I was able to find a few places that offer the amazing teriyaki + california roll combo that I madly crave from time-to-time. It's been hard to find a place in Seattle with good portion sizes that serves that combo AND does both dishes well. This place is reasonably priced, has many sushi and teriyaki options, and, most importantly, the food is A-1. Definitely the best teriyaki I've had in town, by far. I ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki, 1 california roll, and 1 eggroll... I'm stuffed but am already thinking about my next order from here. I haven't even finished my current order but needed to review this place, stat. This is my go-to for teriyaki from here on out. Thank you for being there, Big Tuna.

Lived right up the street from this place. Never was a sushi fan, but the teriyaki and other menu items are all very good. Food was always fresh and prepare quickly all for a reasonable price.
