We just moved down down the street and thought we would give it a try, the place is delicious. We stayed simple with the Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka, but it was hands down the best I have ever had. The owner was very sweet and welcomed us to the neighborhood. Highly recommend this place, we will be coming back for many more meals.
We visited Mani's kitchen for dinner. We had a medley of Indian entrees, including veg khorma, birianyi, and samosas. We also had an order of momos. All the food was delicious; my favorite was the birianyi. Next time I'm going to try some of the Nepalese and Bhutanese specialties. Service was excellent. One note, the restaurant has just opened so consider calling first to see if they are open.
Our first meal here was amazing, definitely will be coming back. I'm a big lamb curry fan and theirs is super tasty and the meat was very tender. We also got the kashmir chicken and it was super creamy and tasty as well. This place is pretty legit with their spice levels, I got a 3 (out of 6) and it was very spicy without being overwhelming. Definitely will come back to try more dishes! They have a wide variety of regional dishes

Fabulous vegetarian (and meat dishes too), but my wife is vegetarian and always I'm always happy sharing the vegetarian dishes with her. So much flavor! If you want a little extra spice ask for a little of their home made chili paste, yum! And there’s always enough rice. Try the chili cheese dish for something you cannot get anywhere else. It's a wonderful warm atmosphere; the owner is so nice!
My partner and I love ordering from Mani's Kitchen. When we realized that we had a local, family run Indian and Himalayan restaurant just down the street, we had to check it out. The food is delicious, the space comfortable and the staff friendly. It is perfect for a date night, family dinner, or just getting a meal to-go. I'm so happy Mani's is part of my neighborhood!
This restaurant has the best Indian food in town! I have been to many popular places in Seattle and none of their food compares to Mani's cooking. Not to mention it's a local, family owned business. The service is very fast considering there are only two (sometimes three) workers and only Mani (owner) cooks. I have gotten take-out, lunch platters, and dinner here and I have never been disappointed. The menu is very long, with food from Nepal, and Bhutan as well. Of the many choices I recommend Bhutanese special or the chicken chili.
Had an amazing time here. Probably the best customer experience I've had at a restaurant. Sheila (owner) greeted us and made us feel so welcome, made sure we were warm and comfortable. There's an extensive menu. Sheila took care to make sure we were familiar with the food we were ordering and answered all of our questions. Very vegan friendly--even the naan is vegan. Service was prompt but we were able to stay for a long time and talk after our meal. We even were able to talk to Sheila about opening the restaurant and she was so friendly. I'd definitely come here again.
