Very chilly when you walk in the door, but the warmth of the food will heat you right up! I got Dan Dan noodles and dumplings with hot oil, and both are delicious. The noodles have a great amount of peanuts, the dumplings are nice and numbing. Generous portions, these two dishes were enough for 3 people’s light lunches.
I knew about this place long time ago, but never got to try it until today. Heard that they added Szechuan food recently, so I wanted to give it a try, and I was surprised how good the food was! The three dishes I ordered were all pretty good.
This baozi place is amazing if you want to find a place for authentic chinese baozi. I almost eat it all before I realize to take a photo of it. It is great for take out too if you want to eat it as breakfast. The dishes here is also quite good. I ordered the beef stew with bamboo, the green pepper fish and the lamb soup. The lamp soup is the best one I ever had in Seattle. I can tell it is not over seasoned by SMG. The savory of the soup is from the lamb itself. Also the pepper fish and the beef stew all have amazing portion. I packed half home enough for another meal. Amazing place and definitely worth trying it out!
So happy we decided to give this place a try. The chicken dumplings and the pork/crab dumplings were delicious! We also ordered the vegetable fried rice and braised beef noodles - very satisfying and generous portions. 4 people could've easily shared the rice. We were treated to some red bean buns for dessert on behalf of the chef. Yum!
The food was delicious, the place was super clean and welcoming, and the service was so friendly! I ordered online and when I went to pickup my food they included an order of shrimp dumplings for free! I tried the orange chicken and pork bao (and shrimp dumplings) and all were excellent. Very large portions for the price. Will definitely eat here again!
This is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been in Seattle! The ambiance was great! Out waiter was amazing! And the food was out of this world. We will be back to try everything else in the menu. Amazing chef! Keep it up!!
This place is amazing! The owner is the sweetest man ever! We walked in and he told us he didn't speak much English then explained the digital menu to us and let us order. There were about four takeout orders while we were dining and he was running around making sure everyone got their food. He got our food out to us extremely fast and even placed the chopsticks in a nice way on our plates. Our food was very good and towards the end of our meal he brought out red bean Bao and said this is a gift from us! He is is sooo sweet! We wanted to give him a bigger tip but didn't have much cash on us. If you get this waiter he will take care of you!!
The food is constantly fresh and delightful. The soup in the dumplings was very rich and pleasant. Employees gives excellent service. I liked the cleanliness and vibes. I highly recommend this place.
