This place, without a doubt, serves the best breakfast in Western Washington. Maybe in the country, but I haven't traveled extensively enough to make that statement.
Probably the best chicken fried steak I've ever had, homemade sourdough and jam to go along was awesome. Kids got pancakes and cocoa which they loved, and the wait staff was awesome. My boy spilled his cocoa all over the table so he was visibly upset, and even more then just our waitress helped clean it up, patted him on the back and told him it was ok and just got him another one promptly.
I so love this place. We are here working at the Shell plant and staying at the KOA....staff is always friendly and knows what we drink before we order and the breakfast is always awesome after working night shift!
Best place for breakfast or lunch. And always get some baked goods for later
It is my favorite place and a special treat for anybody and everybody who wants a great tasting experience! The atmosphere is cozy and the bakey is always decorated so artfully. The Halloween decor is my Favorite.

Me and my daughter go here for our special mommy/daughter breakfast dates. Best breakfast in town and amazing service! Every person their is above and beyond especially with kids. My 4 year old says "best food in my entire life ever" and she loves going there because everyone is so amazing!
This little restaurant has a true small town feel with delicious food at reasonable prices. Servers and chefs are fantastic. Our favorite place to have breakfast!!!
Should not brag about Joy's but it is really good. Great food, great service. Sometimes hard to get a seat may have to wait but well worth the wait. The thing about talking about how good it is more people will go there and seats and parking already hard sometimes. LOL Worth it.:)
we went in on a super busy weekend; and they were still amazingly friendly and the food was great! If you're in Sedro it's worth the stop!

Love the eggs Benedict for the Sunday only special! Very consistent and always full in the little restaurant! We always come back!
Mom and I split the Country Benedict, with biscuit instead of english muffin, fried not poached eggs ABSOLUTELY perfect Great job!

The Aroma and Taste is amazing. You walk in the front door and right away you smell the most wonderful aroma of fresh baked cakes and deserts of all kinds.

Fantastic old school joint. Absolutely amazing food served up like an old fashiond American Grandma would make it. Love their biscuits and gravy. I can barely handle a half order. May have to go there for breakfast now since Google popped up this review request. Really can't beat them for the price, service, food, and overall atmosphere. You wish your town had a place like Joy's.
Breakfast is the bomb here! The cooks do a great job in cooking and serving delicious food in just the right amount of time. Service is top notch here. Olivia our waitress was the best. Made us feel at home every time we came in.
The omelettes are huge and delicious. The coconut pancakes are like nothing I have had before. My husband is officially addicted to them. The espresso is also on point. They have fresh baked bread they make right in house too. The Reuben sandwich was one of the best I have had with perfectly cooked fries. The prices are reasonable for the portions you receive. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. We are here visiting from out of town and wish we could have a place this good where we are from. But then again we would gain a ton of weight if this place was a regular of ours. LOL 😆 Definitely recommended!

Stopped in as I rolled through on my way to Canada due to the great reviews. The food was great but by far the best thing was the amazing waitress. Without a doubt the best server I have ever had.
Coconut pancakes are to die for!! All other menu items are also very tasty. Small and homie atmosphere. Get there early, because they fill up fast!
