I was not expecting how much I would love this place. Every thing we had was amazing. They have amazing deals on Monday. We came here with a large group that was very complicated with various dietary restrictions etc and our waiter, Kyle, handled us very well. The views here from our dinner table window were amazing (pictured below)

Nice restaurant with a comfy warm feeling at home vibe and decor. I was seated by the window and had a chance to experience a view of the river. Lobster roll was delicious!

Absolutely wonderful! The renovations are amazing. The service was fantastic and the food delicious. We dined on the beautiful new outdoor patio by the water. The owner (soon to be) came by and personally welcomed us. I highly recommend The Old Grist Mill for date night, mothers day, business lunch... or any other event.
Had the chance to finally have dinner here. Our Anniversary is in a couple days and decided to have dinner at the Grist Mill. Made a reservation for 630 which was perfect and it wasn't that busy when we got there. It was dark and was kinda hard to read the menu, but we manage. I ended up getting the rib eye with mashed potatoes and baked stuffed shrimp and my wife baked seafood dinner. Both were really good and took the rest home for another day. They had some other great menu items that I would like to check another time we go.
While quickly searching for a place to grab lunch, this place caught our interests. We were pleasantly surprised with the excellent service and the great selection of food. Our waitress was fantastic and the food was amazing. We had a beautiful window table right next to the Old Mill dam watching the water fall. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a new place with a rustic setting. We will definitely be going back!
I went here New Years day 2022 for a 6:30 reservation. We were sat down as soon as we got in, got a great table with a beautiful view. Our waiter was Jason and he was GREAT! I go out to eat maybe once a week and the service from Jason was the best service I've had in about a year! He was great, knew the menu, answered any questions and helped anyway he could. The food was Amazing! The whole experience was Amazing and I can't wait to go back. Thank You Jason and everyone else there for a great experience
Lively ambience inside the dining halls that have large windows letting natural light in. Tables by the large windows have an up close view of the gushing river that may have powered the mill long time ago.You're welcomed with fresh, hot cinnamon bread. Salad bar was included with our lamb chops and stuffed sole entrees. (It has been ages since we enjoyed a self-serve salad bar)! Portions were huge, food was delicious; went well with house beer. There's outdoor seating available, but most people seemed to opt for indoor seating. So glad we decided to drive there on our visit to the Providence area despite being told there's a 45-60 minute wait. A big thanks to the friendly and attentive staff!
