Now open for breakfast. I just learned that The Taco Shack was open for breakfast and tried it for the first time this morning. The portions were insanely large, the food fresh and the sausage gravy for the chicken fried steak was the best in the Yakima area. Everything is prepared to the exact specifications asked for by the customer and the prices are quite reasonable. Easily the best breakfast in the area and a great deal. My only complaint was that the breakfast menu is just traditional American and it would be nice to see huevos rancheros added, after all, it is the Taco Shack;)

Nice, attentive staff, decent prices, amazing food, generous portions. 5 stars because I can't think of a bad thing about the place. Don't let the small size of the place fool you, they're great. Will definitely be going back 👍

I must say we were leery due to not being from the area but this unassuming little business has the most incredible fajita burritos and fajitas salad! It was just what I wanted. The girl at the counter was darling with her bad explanations of the salad but we all got a giggle. I must say that it was clean, the food was reasonably priced for what you get and the the taste was beyond expectations for the fajita dishes. I took the pic of the salad after I dug in but my oh my....yummy. you should really try this if you haven't. The salsa was a little tomatoee but the food really did not need the extra condiment of salsa due to the marinade of the fajita. Soooooo goood👏👏

We walked here and had lunch while our truck was in the shop for service. The food was good and the people were super nice and very accommadating. We ate outside because we had our dog with us. We were told that they are going to expand their outdoor dining area to take advantage of the afternoon shade. I would eat here again and try something else for fun.

Small but cozy restaurant. New owner has big plans to make the outside dining area more attractive and is working on getting beer & wine license. Good food, wonderful flavors, reasonable prices. Very friendly owner. Stopped here while on the way to Tri Cities, was worth the small detour to Selah.

I Don’t normally leave reviews, but this food was fantastic! I ordered a strawberry horchata expecting nothing fancy. To my surprise they used a ton of strawberry purée. It was fantastic! The fajita burrito and macho I ordered was fantastic too ! 69/10 I would recommend %100!

Service was fast and friendly, and I was seated as soon as I came in. I was given a menu, a glass of water and some chips and salsa. I ordered the Asada Super Burrito, and while I was waiting for it I ate almost all of my chips and salsa. when I had about 5 chips left the waitress asked if I would like more chips and salsa, and it was on my table in under a minute. The burrito arrived shortly thereafter, and it had a nice presentation and it was a big burrito! I ate the entire thing and then I didn't have enough room to eat the chips that she had brought me. And to top it all off it cost me less than 9 dollars to stuff myself. Great food, great prices, great service.

I eat here almost every week, the owner is super nice and always makes you feel at home. Family owned and operated and it shows. The staff is not afraid of holding a conversation with you. I get the burritos and horchata and loved it every time. Reminds me of my grandfather's cooking.
