We’ve been coming to Pashas on wurzbach since they opened! It’s just gotten better and better! The plates are generous, service is friendly fast and professional, the place is clean and spacious. If you’re a local you definitely should make this your spot at least once a week! If you’re just visiting SA this is a must do!
Gormeh Sabzi stew is hands down my fave!
Happy eating my friends!
In the mood for something on the lighter side, our big party of six adults and two kids decided to try this location tonight. It’s located on the busy access road of I-35 but we found it easily. The restaurant is just beautiful, high ceilings, chandeliers, done in golds and browns with the kitchen on one side where vertical rotisseries can be seen holding juicy meats. We were seated immediately and given menus while our waiter filled our drink orders. The menu is extensive, with standard Middle Eastern fare such as tabbouleh, hummus, gyros but many more selections such as Kabooleh Kabob, fish and shrimp, shawarma, cranberry rice, etc. it’s almost overwhelming to decide what to try! We tried the fish, fish and shrimp, kabooleh, gyro plates and beef kabob. We waited for our dinner while munching on the delicious naan bread, hot and bigger than a dinner plate. It’s complimentary and served with olive oil and spices for dipping. Very addictive!
When our entrees arrived they were fine but not memorable. The beef on the kabooleh and gyros seemed dry and without a lot of seasoning, same with the seafood. The basmati rice was good but also dry. The cranberry rice was strange with dried cranberries and onions. Overall it was an ok dinner but we wished for more pizazz.
Service was terrific, our waiter very friendly and knowledgeable. Total for six entrees, two kids’ plates and eight waters/teas was $94.31 before tip. Oh and BYOB as they do not serve alcohol.
Two words: bottomless naan!
Just fantastic and I love it. Don't understand the poor naan reviews, it is perfect and LIMITLESS. Rest of the food is great too.
Stopped by for a quick lunch (Chicken Schwarma with Greek salad & hummus). Everything tasted great & service was spectacular and fast. I can't wait to see how things move during busier times. Looking forward to returning!
It was my mom‘s first time having Mediterranean food. Milo was our waiter and he was awesome, she wanted to try a little bit of everything and this was his recommendation. You can tell their whole crew works really hard, we came at peak time and they tried their best to accommodate everybody. Service was good and we will be coming again, and bringing friends!
Food was good and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The bread and za’tar were so good!! Ordered Pasha kabab plate, it was tasty, the only thing Kabob was a little dry and the grilled vegetables are only peppers. Usually they bring tomato and onion.
Honestly if you are looking based on reviews for a restaurant then I won’t lie to you, this is the best Mediterranean Delicious food you could have at really well price point.
Every time we go to San Antonio We make sure we have a full meal here with our empty stomach.
The servers are always welcoming and friendly. It’s really a great pleasure to visit them all the time.
Every bite rich in flavour and tenderness.
Still deciding..! But make sure you go to any pasha in San Antonio just based on this review.
The food was fresh and tasted wonderful. Our server Milo was very attentive and ensured our glasses were full, we had naan, and our food met our expectations. We had the appetizer combo which was a meal on its own. The chicken Sharma and lamb plates were both very good. We will definitely return.
I have returned three times since my original post and have been happy each time.
It was amazing!!! Everything was fresh, well prepared, great presentation on the plates, great amount of food for the price. The rose tea was flavorful, right amount of sugar and great scent. It was my first time there and absolutely loved it!!! Totally recommend and will be going back.
This place was exceptional, our service was great, prices were comparable to texas roadhouse, the food was freaking phenomenal. Will be a regular here.
Edit* have now ordered from uber, arrived 2 hours late and cold. But the food was still great.
***edit*** eaten or ordered uber eats from here 5 times now. This place is the best in town. Favorite restaurant.
*edit2* probs eaten here 15-20 times now, still kick A$$.
Soooo good! Was actually going to a restaurant close by but the power was out so found this place. So happy I did. Busy lunch crowd but staff was very friendly and attentive. Milo was my server and he was great. Ordered the beef shawarma plate and it was fantastic. Not to mention the naan and garlic aioli. Great experience, will definitely bring the family!!!
Loved the food and service as well. Very polite servers and owner with great taste of food. Even my baby loved it :)
