It’s always a treat to get to go to eat at Kathleen’s Kitchen. She has the best dishes to choose from. My favorites are her chicken salad & spinach & strawberry salad. Her bread pudding is to die for.
I love to go to Independent own restaurants to get fresh and home made food. This place has their own recipes that are great. No doubt this is best choice every time we visit. Food and service is always great. If I don't get lunch till late in the day I go into their bakery.

Such great food and it's all done on site. Staff very friendly and great flavored teas. Spinach salads. ....potato soup....prime rib sandwiches. ..just alot of great choices.....desert choices to.
I could just drink their potato soup the rest of my life and die a happy man...the cornbread with it is great too. I always get the baked ham sandwich, too good for me not to order it! Also, the flavored teas are good enough to be marketed around the country. By the gallon.

Love this place!. If you are looking for a delicious, home-cooked meal, then look no further - Kathleen's Kitchen is BY FAR the best place to eat in the Texoma area! Family owned and operated, Kathleen & her family have been serving satisfied patrons for many years. While certainly best known for their to-die-for desserts, Kathleen's is a personal favorite of mine for their soup selection (best potato soup I have EVER tasted), their sandwiches (which are enough to fill you up, but not so much you make yourself miserable) and of course, their homemade breads. In a time when quality is often sacrificed for the benefit of making a profit, Kathleen's Kitchen is a breath of fresh air for not only providing the best lunches in the area, but for taking pride in the way its delivered. As I live in McKinney, my only complaint regarding Kathleen's is that I'm not close enough to make it a regular lunch spot! Thank goodness they are now open on Saturdays - one stop in the bakery and I am set for the week! If you are in the area, make sure you take the time to stop by Kathleen's Kitchen - you won't regret it!
Great broccoli & cheese soup and Santa Fe Chili. I love the Waldorph chicken salad. I found their sandwiches to be quite meaty. The desserts are worth the trip. Service can be sketchy.
Great!!. How I wish there was a Kathleen's in the town I now work in. I got so spoiled to going by there and picking up a great lunch. When you are in the mood for soup and sandwich...it is so good!

Great people and service. Everything on the menu is wonderful but the tomato basil soup and chicken Waldorf salad sandwich with homemade sourdough raisin bread are to die for. The homemade bread pudding is the best I've ever had.
Kathleens Kitchen continues to have excellent food, priced right. Their services is the very best in town! If your in a hurry they can and will get you in and out in a timely manner, while having time to enjoy their yummy food. Can’t say enough good about this restaurant.
Sometimes cakes are baked a bit too long making them dry, but I don't eat cake very often so it's okay for me. Have always enjoyed eating here. Love the salads and sandwiches. They are wonderful!
One of my favorite places. Food is always excellent, my favorite is the smoked turkey salad on fresh homemade sourdough bread. They are known for their desserts- my favorites are the apricot Cobbler and gourmet chocolate chip cookies.
This is an excellent option if your dieting- they will work with you and help you eat clean.
