It appeared to be expensive when you look at the menu but after eating here, the quality of meat is pretty good and lot of volume they serve, I realize the price is fair. As some of else mentioned, staffing is short, you may need to be a bit patient, but the staff seems working hard and everyone was nice and helpful. I would go back again.

Food is authentic and staff is lovely! Definitely recommend the Lunch-Combo if you don't have the bbq and want to try more than 1 dish.

My first time eating at a Korean restaurant. I'm so glad we found it! Authentic Korean BBQ, we were the only non Asians, always a good sign! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The food was incredible, highly recommend this restaurant! Let me say one thing...SHORT RIBS. 🤤🤤🤤

I think it has been almost 5 years for me re-visiting SanMaru Grill.  It was a bit quieter than before maybe due to Covid. This place has good Covid safe practice.  They asked me and my friends to show our vaccination cards before entering. We ordered a Grill Combo #2 (C2) and stone Bibimbap (B2). The grill combo #2 comes with a good variety of beef; marinated short rib, brisket, pork belly, soy paste stew, and sirloin.  It was a good portion for 2 to 3 people. You can't go wrong with Bibimbap - especially the one in stone. Overall, SanMaru Grill is a good Korean BBQ place in the Seattle area.  It's spacious and clean.  The food was also delicious. I would recommend this place if you are craving Korean food or if you are wanting to explore other foods!

Visited for Korean bbq and wasn't disappointed! There were meat combos available, but we decided to order a la carte instead ($25 - 50/plate of meat, depending on cut). Portions were fair for the price, and they also served lots of banchan and lettuce. Grill also worked well despite the smaller size, I was impressed. My favourite part was ironically the kimchi pancake 김치전. Yes, I know, I'm basic haha. I've tasted several, but this place was the best, probably because they cooked it and served it in a skillet. Highly recommend it, even if it's more expensive than other restaurants. Alcohol was $16/soju bottle, so I'd advise skipping it if you can and picking it up at your nearest Korean supermarket instead! Service wise, they were understaffed (and had a sign posted about it) but still worked very hard to serve all customers. Really appreciated the great service, especially later in the evening. Will likely be back to try more of their dishes!
