A little pricey, but the food and mixed drinks are awesome. I usually have the Lamb Ragu Pasta. I tried their Manhattan and Old Fashioned this time around. Both were outstanding.
And the wait staff are extremely nice and welcoming.
We typically come here after we visit the L.A. Arboretum, which is also an awesome place if you've never been.
Excellent food drinks and service. They set up a huge patio in back of the main restaurant complete with heat lamps. It still feels like fine dining because the food is delicious and the service is excellent. My favorite is the Wisteria Burger. Always cooked to perfection. They have a great beer, wine and cocktail selection as well. Sometimes the wait for food can be long but it's worth it,; just sip on a cocktail and unwind.
Wistaria is a restaurant and bar that offers menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They’re located on N. Baldwin Avenue in the foothills of Sierra Madre. I was looking for a nice breakfast place with mountain view.
And Wistaria is the perfect place. I came here
on lazy Sunday and was seated on their outdoor patio with an effusive welcome by a waitstaff. It’s front outdoor patio has a nice street and mountain view. I ordered the Anne’s Favorite (two eggs, two short stack pancakes and mixed fruits), coffee and cold tap water. Sunny side eggs and fruits were fresh. Pancakes were warm, thick, fluffy and soft as a pillow. Furthermore, it taste like your home made Bisquick pancakes. Syrup was viscous and sweet. I was served by an obsequious server, Jane. I loved it. Prices were slightly fair for the area. Their breakfast has limited items. Overall, I enjoyed my outdoor dine-in experience and breakfast meal. I highly recommend Wistaria R & B.
My fiancé and I enjoyed brunch at Wistaria last Saturday and were quite pleased! We were torn between the sweet and savory options but went with the sweeter options:) We shared two plates, the Challah Bread French toast and the a Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. Although the pancakes were quite good, the Challah Bread was soaked perfectly in batter and cooked to perfection with a creamy center. The bacon was also delicious, as well as the blueberry compote. We will be returning soon.
Great outdoor space with great service, drinks and food. Dog friendly, but leave your out of control kids at home, it's a date night place.
