It might take a little while to get your order but it's worth it. I got two arepas and they were delicious! The corn cakes were perfectly crisp on the outside and the filling was plentiful and tasty.

So, it was my first time coming here. I’ve had arepas before and I was dying to have them again. I got the mini basket and it was amazing. I also got the arepa de choclo and it was good, but I was a bit disappointed that the cheese wasn’t stuffed inside of it like I’ve had it before. Also got some jugo de maracuyá and the flavor was great. Overall, it was good. Will come back :)

I loved it! The place is very comfortable, you really feel like you’re in Colombia, the service is so nice and food.. OMG I really loved it🥰 tequenos and EMPANADAS are just delicious! And I have a lot of time without drinking passion fruit juice. Definitely I’ll come back just to try all the food!

The food here is really good. Every once in awhile you get an arepa that's dry or doesn't have much flavor, but overall the combinations are excellent, and some of their other dishes are delicious too. The chicharron is yummy and decadent, the tostada with guacamole is tasty, the sweet corn arepa with salty cheese is awesome ( I mean, honestly we ordered it for our daughter, and we ate more than half of it ourselves), the Cubano sandwich is the real deal (no cold cuts here!) However, if you're in a hurry, don't bother. The service is extremely slow. They've also gotten my order wrong a couple times for carry out. So, if we were just rating on service, we'd give it one star, but because the food is so good and it's a nice little restaurant located in the heart of downtown Silver Spring, we give it 4!

Food is good just not a fan of the sausage and ground beef a little dry. Do we tip to get service? You don't know what to do with the dirty dishes at the end and they don't bother to take them from the table or tell you what to do with them (Comfusing) and no thank you nothing so service ain't great.

My friend and I enjoyed lunch here, as she had recently returned from a trip to Columbia. She drank an Agua Panela con limon, explained as hardened sugar cane juice made into a lemonade-like drink. I enjoyed a glass of guava juice watered down with water. We split an order of Tajadas, fried plantain slices, which were served piping hot and perfectly tender. Arepas are related to tortillas but are made from a finely ground precooked corn dough in Coumbia and Venezuela. She enjoyed an Arepas Pabelion, an Arepas split into a pocket filled with black beans, shredded beef and fried sweet plantain. I liked all of the four options in my mini Arepas tasting basket: chicken, shredded beef, roasted pork and avocado.

The place is small but all the food is big in flavor. Don't be put off by the size of this place! Just walk up to the counter ask for a menu, order your food have a seat wherever you can find one and enjoy. All the staff was extremely friendly and willing to help with any questions. Portion is huge. Salad in the picture comes with fish entree. Plantain chips are thick, not greasy and crispy. Super delicious! Will definitely visit again.

Food was pretty good but the pricing on the google menu is not accurate to the pricing on the restaurant, and 2.25 per topping for just tomatoes is kinda crazy.

The cashier Rody was so nice! The food was great! It definitely has improved the food quality and recipes. I came 4 years ago and I was very disappointed but when I heard now the restaurant is under a new administration, I had decided to come back and it definitely worth it . I will come back again. I gave them 4 stars because the run out of fresco cheese so I had cheddar cheese for my arepas basket.
