This is a cute little place right in downtown silver spring. I decided to try this one because of other reviews. I went around noon with a friend. We ordered the vegetable platter to share as well as the spicy beef. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was pretty good. The only word of caution I would have is to pack your own food if you're taking it away. The way the lady threw the food in the container was pretty gross. Other than that there is a bar and lots of seating available?
Nazrawi was a delightful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual and special occasions. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
The highlight, of course, was the food. The Kitfo and fish Gulash was a standout, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavors. The portion sizes were generous and the presentation was visually appealing. Ending it with authentic Ethiopian coffee made in the middle of the restaurant.
Overall, Nazrawi offers a fantastic dining experience with its combination of delicious food, excellent service, and cozy atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal.
Amazing Ethiopian restaurant in the DMV. Beautiful restaurant and fun atmosphere. The food is top notch. We came on a busy night and service was a bit slow near the end of our visit but it was worth it overall. Staff was kind in explaining any dishes I didn't know and very friendly. The menu offered so much compared to the simple dishes we got this time!
The food was absolutely amazing. It was my first time ever having Ethiopian food and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was phenomenal, the food was amazing! I’ve never been somewhere you eat with your hands and I loved it. It was a GREAT first experience and I can wait to go back and bring my friend
As an Ethiopian, it felt like a little slice of home. By far best habesha food i’ve had in the states. It was amazing.
Also, the staff were super friendly and happy to help us navigate the menu. Plus, the place had that cozy vibe with cool decor and some great tunes in the background. Easily my new go-to spot

I love Ethiopian food and Nazrawi definitely serves very good Ethiopian food. My family and I ordered Nazrawi special kitfo, Banatu and Lamb Derek tibs, and we all thought it's was very tasty and the meat tender. We will definitely be coming back for more. Nazrawi is a welcome addition to the many Ethiopian restaurants in the area.
My friend brought me here. She told me this I was the best Ethiopian food. I agree! The food is amazing and fresh! I ordered the veggie platter. No complaints. I will happily order it again.

The food here was beyond amazing, we have tried many Ethiopian restaurants in Silver Spring and DC but we think this was the best food. Below a picture of Banatu (platter with ribs firfir, kifto, and delicious green collards, lentils, cabbage/sweet onions).

Fast Ethiopian food that is really good. I've been here one time before the menu changed and waited staff were added. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The only minor problem was that the food was not hot it was warm and still very flavorful.
The lentils are so good! Kind service. We went on Monday so the atmosphere was quiet.

Authentic Ethiopian dishes with coffee ceremony! You feel at a typical traditional Ethiopian home: the music, coffee ceremony, traditional food, and the social setting with a feel of friendliness and belongingness during your stay! Ask for "Degfie" if you pop in there; my most favorite item in Menu!
