JC has the best crabs! I’ve been eating crabs from JCs for over 4 years now and they haven’t let me down! Cindy is so kind and personable, she’s very knowledgeable about the crabs and sizes. I’ve got to know her mom as well and their very kind people! I usually get extra large or jumbo crabs, their delicious corn, their sweet tea and brown paper roll as my regular order and I have been let down! Thanks for always providing great service to my self and everyone I refer!
Wow, a nice gem to find in silver spring - Wheaton area. Crabs dusted with old bay was done just how we wanted.
Their deep fry technique and batter is done really well for fries and onion rings. It didn’t come out dripping oily and was crispy.
Would totally come back here when in the area.
This place is really cute and recently expanded. The decor is fun, service is efficient and friendly. The bathrooms are clean and the prices are reasonable. Def recommend!!!
Found this quaint crab house by mistake but thought 😋 why not!. I was a bit dismayed by having to prepay and the tip being included. The food was good and the batter used for frying was just ✅️ just right. The home made 🍋 lemonade is too sweet with a lime green color , soo, I would opt for the water 💧 ..The staff was great.
The restaurant is decorated nicely and cutely and the staff were nice. Once arriving we were seated right away. Our waitress was personable and attentive. We ordered the half bushel large crabs, some corns and Shrimp, I can't even express how delicious, flavorful and tasty my food was. Based on a friend's recommendation this is my first time here and since NOW! I will be a regular !!

Love JC Crab House! Has crabs of all sizes but we normally go for XL or Jumbo. Best hush puppies ever! Their fried platters are great as well. Now they have AYCE specials on weekends. Cutely decorated and recently expanded their dinning room. Staff is always friendly.
My friend and I came here for a dinner after heading good things about JC's from mutual friends. Luckily our friends were right and JC's is indeed a traditional Maryland -style crab house, the crabs are fresh and big and great price. We ordered the jumbo size male crabs, corns and fried jumbo shrimp and oysters. We enjoy our food because they are really delicious. Crabs have a lot of meat and are very sweet.
All in all, if you're in the area definitely give JC a try. And we definitely come back very soon.
I have to say that my husband and I had the large crabs they were amazing. We had fried shrimp and hush puppies both delicious.

This place was awesome! Great seafood choices at reasonable prices! The best fried shrimp that I've had in years! I usually leave the hush puppies because they seem like fried breading and no taste, but these hush puppies were delicious and had great flavor! The staff were very friendly and very helpful. I didn't even realize this restaurant was here, and was so glad to have found it on Yelp. Looking forward to many more dinners here, and telling friends and family what a great find this place is!!!!!

The crab house here is great! They are a bit pricier than other places in Rockville, but the quality is top notch. They had all sizes available when I ordered and the large crabs did not disappoint. I will come back here again and again.

We found this place on the recommendation of my neighbor. We moved from Louisiana couple years ago. My kids miss cajun seafood and my neighbor highly recommended JC. So we decided to give it a try. When we walked into the store, we saw that the store was very clean. During this epidemic, their hygienic environment made us feel at ease to dine in the store. The girl who served us was very helpful and kind.
About our purpose. We made the right choice, glad we're in the right place. After a recommendation from the girl, we ordered Cajun combo #2 and one dozen jumbo crab and some side. LISTEN...The cajun sauce here is the BEST!!! The Cajun sauce tastes exactly like what we had at Louisiana, it's tangy Cajun sauce with fresh crayfish and shrimp. The crabs were huge and meaty. (I forgot to take a picture of the crab).All four of us enjoyed the meals. We definitely will be back soon.
Last weekend, I went to JC Crab House for the first time with my friends. We ordered a dozen of extra large Maryland blue crabs, and wow. They were so incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. It was such a fun experience using the wooden hammers to crack open the shells. Loved the food!
Amazing experience. The staff is friendly and the food comes out quick and fresh. Everything is perfectly cooked and seasoned well. They are heavy in the blue crab seasoning, so depending on you're tastebuds tell them to go light. This is definitely a hit for a fun enjoyable dinner

Last time I came with my friends, we ordered snow crab legs and spiced shrimp which were excellent. This time I order 18 large crabs, hush puppies and corn. The corn on the cob were sweet and crabs were very meaty and fresh.
Everything was delicious and enjoyable!
