Best coffee in town. Best flavor and best prices. After my first visit here, I became a regular. The espresso is their own blend of locally roasted beans. Their house coffee is organic and shade-grown. Both are delicious.
Such a nice place. The folks at Gear-Up do a really great job. They have a nice menu, great service and a relaxed atmosphere.
I've been here several times, the latest was today with a group of friends. The service was fast and friendly. And the food was great. I had the Homer on Whole Wheat (Turkey, cranberry, etc). The turkey was plentiful and the cranberry sauce was tasty and plentiful.
They do great espresso drinks - my iced Americano was superb.
These friendly folks are very bicycle friendly with plentiful bike racks right out front.

In my opinion Gear Up has the best straight shots of espresso. Genuinely nice crew, too. Comfortable.
I’m giving a five star review because they have great coffee and a pretty great atmosphere. However, my one problem is that multiple workers do not wear masks. I understand that customers may not comply with mask mandates, but seeing workers disregard the comfort level of their customers is quite disappointing. I would hope the managers would talk to their employees about making it a more safe environment where everyone coming in feels comfortable, regardless of the worker’s personal feelings on the manner. I want to come in but every time I do and there is a worker without a mask on it discourages me from coming back. Some workers always wear their masks and I appreciate that. Besides that, great food and amazing drinks.
My husband and I visited on our anniversary, which we found out, happens to be the owners birthday! This place is very welcoming and serves delicious coffee and food. Love the decor and little details everywhere. Happy birthday to the owner! You’ve created a great little spot here!
My latte is so heavenly delicious and perfect!!! The lady that made it obviously has her doctorates degree in foam skillz. It was delicious enough that I didn't even mind that the girl that rang us up was less than friendly. Maybe she was having a bad day? Everyone else was really nice. I plan to be back!

incredibly sweet staff and cool bakery!
I came in by mistake because I was looking for another bakery to give a cleaning quote to and the nice blonde barista (I don't know her name) helped me figure out what correct bakery to go to and gave me 3 delicious little doughnuts to have free of charge. It was close to closing and She must have just known how hungry I was and it was such a nice thing to do! I will definitely be going back with friends!

I do love their breakfast sandwiches, and their matcha tea latte is a fav of mine. Their mini donuts are also amazing.
I appreciate the effort for reaching out to make my experience better after I drove so far to find out the kitchen is closed.
First time I was there was their anniversary celebration. So I can't complain about a free cup of coffee. The little donuts are fun and the coffee was good.
If you're looking for the greatest cup of coffee, served by the greatest people, then head to Gear up! This is one of those staples for Silverton that amplifies the word community in a business. They are serving the infamous Sisters coffee bean, and making homemade donuts! To go along with those heavy hitters they also have kombucha, homemade cinnamon rolls that change every few days. Please stop and smell the coffee and let time pause at this great little shop. Cheers!
