We decided to end our sisters long weekend at Chop. Our server was a sweet girl who was attentive and well versed in the menu recommending her favorites and making helpful suggestions. Two of us had 12 oz ribeyes which were perfectly cooked. One had the duck, which she raved about and the other had delicious salmon. We started with specialty cocktails. I haven't such a good Manhattan in years. We shared sundaes for dessert with fresh brewed coffee. We have decided that when we return next year, we will make it our last night dinner place again. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good steak. Almost forgot; the popovers were scrumptious!

Our waitress was on point! We never had to look for her or wait for her, but she wasn't intrusive. Love ❤️ the House Salad! I could eat that every day. The popovers are to die for. We even bought some to go. Reheated in the oven today they were still delicious. My meal was fabulous and I love the new building with the upstairs and upper deck! Thank you, Chop for making us another delicious anniversary dinner!

Great food, excellant service!! "Bro" Jason our server was top notch and entertaining! Would definitely recommend! We enjoyed the Early Bird 3 course supper which ran from 5:00-5:30!

The food was scrumptious. I had the ramen for breakfast which was a huge bowl with bone broth that was perfect. The noodles were cooked beautifully to mix with the ham and eggs. My husband had the steak and eggs. He’s pretty picky with his meat and ordered it rare, he said it melted in his mouth and the eggs were delicious. The bread and the butter he had with his meal ended on a sweet note. Overall would recommend again! We’ll be heading back sometime when the weather warms up!

Absolutely wonderful meal. Perfect place foir my daughters BFF to celebrate her birthday. Our table of 7 had 2 lobster tail dinners, 2 walleye dinners and 3 filet dinners. Our server Vlad was very, very good. Absolutely zero complaints.

Went there last Sunday and the atmosphere was really nice. We showed up a bit early for our reservation but the hostess was able to help seat us right away. Our waitress was really nice. The food was so good! We got steaks. I got a filet mignon and it was beyond good! Easy to cut and seriously melt like butter in your mouth, speaking of which even their bread is good. Also love the scallops and potstickers. We had a very lovely night! Thank you Chop!

We had a great New Years dinner. Our steaks were unbelieveable. Our server was attentive but not a pest our deserts were perfect , carot cake and a sunday. It was our first time at Chop but a veteran in DC . We will be back Thank you Chops

Not your typical DC restaurant. Modern decor, excellent service and great steak menu. Beef burgundy was a little salty, but lots of mushrooms and gravy. Steaks were grilled perfectly. Extensive Wine list offers some great finds. Make a reservation!

Drive by here on a nice summer day and you’ll see the entire lawn covered with tables full of happy diners, with good reason. If you want a classy place to go for dinner that always delivers a satisfying experience, you can’t go wrong with CHOP. The drinks are delicious, the steaks have all kinds of sauces and accompaniments to choose from. The filet medallions are a perfect portion for me, and we’ve went with my parents for the 3 course Early Dining menu, which is an unbeatable value.

Staff was very friendly. I liked the drink menu options, they had new things I haven’t heard of. I had the Rose Gold Drink. The food was good, my favorite was the Lobster Bisque. For the meal I had the Beef Burgundy, my sister had the pork chops, my dad had the duck and my mom had the scallops.

I've been coming to Chop since it opened many years ago up in the shops. Still amazing food, outstanding service & great atmosphere. I reccimend everyone try Chop & you will not be disappointed!

What a great steak house. Highly recommend. Service was exceptional. Food absolutely met our expectations. Medium rare filet was delicious. The butter was a great added touch. I've never been to a steak house where I got my food within 5 minutes of ordering. crazy fast. Wife got the ribeye and that was also very good.

Great service from start to finish. We had a reservation for five thirty and showed up very early. We were still seated immediately! The atmosphere was upscale, modern, and clean. The view from the upstairs patio was gorgeous! The salads were well seasoned and savory. The whitefish fillet amandine was delicious, as were the potstickers, and the chocolate torte. Our server, Sam, was great. We didn't wait too long for anything and our orders were accurate.

Amazing dinner! If you are wanting to have an excellent steak, cooked to order, you will not regret it. The Old Fashioned Brandy Sweet with Cherries was just right. Now I have a go-to if I am craving a tasty option when I am in town.

Chop is a wonderful eye full of home style class and modern chic. The staff from door to table was fantastic and not a single item was required of me to ask for. We ordered the crab cakes to start. To call them cakes is a stretch, more like Petite fours. That being said they were full of flavors you would expect from the sea and complimented with a deliciously thoughtful citrus aioli. As it should be. Next came the soup and salad. I had the creamy potato with crispy bacon and cheese. Was it the stuff of legends? No. Was it better than expected? Well also no. However, salt and pepper from the table made it better. The salad was vibrantly green and blanked with a fresh shave of parm. Delicious. Next came the main attraction. Crispy Duck with a side of asparagus while my partner had the salmon, also with a side of asparagus. Let’s quack about the duck. Crispy skin, juicy with a cherry reduction. Yum. The duck was luscious and pairs like a silk grove on an alabaster hand to the cherry. The only concern was the fat should have been scorn at the moving joints to let it render more. The salmon was slightly over cooked but the citrus zest and char on the outside was textbook, but not in a bad way. The asparagus was delicious and much needed with the entree’ as the wild rice was cooked to a paste like mush. Dessert was the star for me. Whom ever is listening please thank Grandma Carole for the Carrot Cake. Anyone who does not order this with their dinner does not deserve to dine at this establishment. Would have been five stars if there were not just those few hoops. However they did set the bar low for the rest of the meal to simply walk over it.

From walking the moment I walked in this was a great experience. Hostess was polite. Server was very attentive and the food.... AMAZING! Perfectly cooked steak. Chefs choice potato of Yukon Gold mashed was delicious. And if you don't get the carrot cake I don't know what you're doing with your life.

One of the best restaurants in the area! Great ambiance, great service and great food. Best smashed potatoes I’ve ever had (and I’ve had A LOT). Vlad is wonderful server! We eat here almost every time we’re in the area and are never disappointed.

A must try in door county. I had the steak dinner with lobster tail. It was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfect to medium rare. The lobster was so juicy and tender. It is extremely expensive but you get what you pay for. It is a perfect place for an anniversary.

We were lucky enough to snag a couple seats at the bar since we were lazy and didn't call ahead to make reservations. The restaurant is very nice and for me has a great selection of bourbon. We got a filet and some crab cakes and both were delicious. The bartender did a great job hands down. We stopped here last minute, but we got great service and a wonderful dinner so highly recommended and call ahead as they were very busy.

We ate upstairs and even though we came near closing time, we still received excellent service. Server was competent and friendly. Atmosphere was romantic and tasteful. The food was prepared exactly to our liking, kudos to the chef. Expect to pay up to $100 for 2 people but it was worth every bite!

Food was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Steak was done exactly as asked and was so good. Wine was flawless, ceaser salad was outstanding as well. We had a reservation for 9 but got in early at 8:45, top deck was very nice and staff was very respectful. Our server Maria was very good, and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back in future.

Fast and friendly service. Great menu. The food was perfectly designed and cooked. Bravo Maria was amazing The pork chop was cooked perfectly, love the maple butter glace, sautéed apples and toasted pecans. The Crispy Duck with maple leaf farm 1/2 duck, Seaquist cherry demi-glace,Minnesota wild rice was beyond all expectations with such deep flavor. The carrot cake is to die for definitely the best carrot cake on the planet.
