An Evanston staple so of course I had to stop by while I was back home. I was so excited to see the addition of the veggie burger 🍔. It was delicious. Kudos.

Super careful distancing going on at Hub's. And where else can I get a freshly cooked burger with sliced red onion, lettuce, pickle etc. for such a fair price. And their "English fries" are cooked with the potato skin. So tasty!

Classic fast food spot. Large servings and quick service. Gyro platter is large enough to share.

Good site for Greek food. The staff was friendly and observant. This place has a cool design. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I loved.

My boyfriend and I love driving around and finding new places to eat. We stumbled across Hubs for the first time and we were not disappointed! I had the 1/4 # burger with added bacon, and they were very generous with the amount of bacon! Very delicious. My boyfriend had the half slab of ribs and was raging about how delicious they were! Both meals came with fries which we thoroughly enjoyed. We shared the buffalo wings which were very tasty! My only complaint is that about half the wings were slightly undercooked in the middle, but the buffalo sauce and the rest of the wings were delicious. Nothing we couldn’t eat around! I was not a fan of the bleu cheese. It was strange and not to my taste, but i am a picky eater so take that with a grain of salt. The ranch was standard. My other reason for a 4 star is because some staff were not wearing their masks correctly, which is concerning during the pandemic. With Covid on the rise, I would have liked to see staff wearing masks properly, especially in a food-service business. There were also some other customers eating in the store which goes against the current guidelines in Illinois. The food was very filling, we both had happened to eat very lightly the day we came across Hubs, so we were able to finish all the food, but definitely don’t come on a full stomach! We know to plan to eat light if we’re gonna head to Hubs. Overall, the food was fantastic and the service was good. A little pricey, about $40 for everything, but worth it. We will definitely be coming back!
