Everytime I come to Illinois I name it a point to stop here. Love. Love. LOVE everything on their menu. I've even made their plantain and spinach in every Thanksgiving meal for the last 4 years. Keep up the great work.

Great Jamaican food that is freshly made. They have a good sized menu, and can accommodate large groups, as well as cater.

Stanley and his lovely wife Paulette have been serving outstanding Gourmet Jamaican food for decades! First on Howard Street in Chicago back in the day and now in Skokie. Everything on the menu is great! ..From the Classic Jerk Chicken to the two types of Rum Ice Cream. People of Skokie- You are lucky.

This Jamaican place is so easy to miss. The atmosphere doesn't sink in until you have sat and given yourself some time to just slow down and have a good conversation with your loved one. It's peaceful. Cozy and simple white with some sky blues and a cut out of Jamaica on a wall. It very much feel as though I'm seated at a small cut out of what would be a Jamaican outdoor setting. The setting really doesn't reflect the food. Once the food came out it was so flavorful and delicious. Jamaican jerk seasoning and delicious fried plantains. The carrots and cabbage do require the scotch bonnet sauce. But everything was delicious. I like that they do run out of food meaning that they don't buy so much quantity that it sits in a freezer until someone orders it. Everything that came out was very fresh and flavorful.

We found this place nestled in a strip mall and after eating, fell in love with it. Do not be put off by the lack of customers! The mouthwatering authentic food looks as good as it tastes and the variety of sides and homemade ice cream is out of this world. The chefs are Jamaican and the owner/chief and waiter are very friendly. The jerk chicken is the best I've ever had hands down. This hidden gem is easily my new favorite restaurant. I love this place :)
