I usually hate posting negative reviews especially to places that I really love. I usually go to halal guys for lunch and receive great service which not a lot of places provide these days. The place is a little better than mediocre. Its a quick and simple place to grab a bite but I have had better Mediterranean food.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I don’t know what’s worst: stale pita, tasteless and burnt gyros, undercooked chicken, or mediocre service. It’s overpriced, low quality fast food and they have been consistently bad. There are much better places to eat in that area.
So, the Hype was real after all. After watching endless videos on youtube about The Halal Guys and it's rich history in New York with humble beginnings. We knew that we had to try this place when visiting Chicago. The Food was simply amazing. Its a simple menu but with a big heart. Tried the famous
