Had a fantastic experience! Had the bacon filet and the crab cakes. By far one of the best surf and turf I have had. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for good beer, food, or both!
Had lunch here recently with a friend...ate in the pub garden which was fun! Food was great and our server, Steph, was fantastic! Plan to be back soon! Oh, and I recommend the carrot soup!
We were there early afternoon with four toddlers. Our food was wonderful & our server was even more wonderful. She even cut up one of the children's meals. Wish I could remember her name Very generous portions. Love this place! Very accommodating to the little ones.
Our food was excellent. My steak was perfect. I didn’t try the beer cause I had to drive 2 1/2 hours to drive back home.
Our server was great!! The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. The tables at the booths are too small for dinner--but fine for just drinks. More outside seating would be a big plus!!
This place is awesome 😎. Wonderful beer ,wine, food and service. The decor is amazing!
Been coming here for years, for special events, or sometimes just for dinner. Such a quirky, welcoming restaurant.
The wait staff is typical students from the college, and we have had good experiences.
Their food is delicious with a good variety.
We LOVE the burgers, their artichoke dip and buffalo chicken dip!
They have some staple beers on tap, and then some rotating. I suggest getting a flight so you can try multiple! They also offer some mixed drinks, and homemade cream soda.
My husband loves this place. He sees a local doctor and then wants lunch and a beer here. Today he ordered the fish and chips. I ordered a rack of ribs with beer mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. We ended up switching meals because the smoked spices on the ribs were too much for my palette. The coleslaw tasted like mayonnaise with a little cabbage so I left it on the table. Our waitress was excellent!!! We were also impressed that the lady behind the bar came down the ramp and seated us promptly. (We’d had a longer wait in the past which was frustrating.) My husband enjoyed drinking the Embalmer and I had a specialty cocktail with peach bourbon. Both were tasty. Our shared s’mores cheesecake dessert was delicious!
As a lover of all things rustic and unique, my visit to North Country Brew Pub in Slippery Rock, PA was nothing short of enchanting. This brewpub is a delightful blend of rustic charm and intriguing mystery, and it truly stands apart in its design and ambiance. If I could give it 10 stars for the atmosphere I would.
The moment you step in, you are transported to a serene hiking trail lodge, with its beautiful woodwork echoing the charm of the great outdoors. The beams, the paneling, the bar area - everything exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere that just calls out to your adventurous spirit.
But what truly gives this place an added dimension is its intriguing haunted history. If you're a fan of ghost stories and old lore, this is the place for you. The history adds an intriguing twist to your dining experience, making each visit a thrilling adventure.
As for the brews, each is as unique and satisfying as the atmosphere. Their menu boasts a broad selection of house-made beers that can cater to a variety of palettes. The staff is well-versed and more than willing to guide you to your perfect brew.
Pair this with their stellar food offerings and you are in for a treat. Each dish is a culinary delight, perfectly complementing the brews and the rustic atmosphere.
North Country Brew Pub is more than just a restaurant or a brewpub. It's an experience – a rustic retreat with a dash of mystery and a whole lot of charm. This place is truly a must-visit and I eagerly look forward to my next adventure here!
Great atmosphere! Got the pumpkin ale and it was amazing! Paired it with one of the best Reubens I have had! Sweet potatoes fries and the fried pickles! Perfect end to a busy day!
Cozy space with good food and a nice selection of beer. Anytime we are in Slippery Rock we make this a lunch or dinner stop. They have a really nice outside space as well.
Visited here while touring some local breweries. Good selection of craft beer. We ate some small appetizers and they tasted good. The food seemed a bit on the expensive side. Parking is difficult right at the restaurant but we found a parking lot a street over to park in. Definitely will be back next time we're in the area!
Having frequented NC for years, going back after a while it was great to see nothing's changed. Great food and a beer selection for any palette. Pick your protein on the burgers is very nice. Ask for a cozy nook if you wish or enjoy the rustic bar. It can get busy, so plan ahead.
This is a place for beer. Their draft selection is deep and the beer is delicious. The interior is also very cool - you feel like you're in a woodland cabin and it's very cozy with much charm. The food is good, not great, but it's tasty and priced well. Again, this is a brewery first, which is the highlight. The staff are excellent, super friendly, and are timely. Long wait times can mean getting reservations if dining in. They do not do call ahead seating either. Make reservations if you can, especially on the weekends.
This place was great. Staff was friendly, food was very good. Fried pickles were great and French fry like (not chips or spears). The shrimp and “pork belly” was good, but maybe call it bacon because pork belly makes me think of chunks not bacon slices. Beers were good you can order any number of beers in a flight. The outside seating area was pleasant. All in all great.
It took a while for some to wait on our table, but when they finally came, they did take good care of us. There was an issue with the beer taps, so it our beer took some time to get to us, and our first round was comped. I liked the food very much. I really enjoyed the dinner. It's a great restaurant.
Awesome eclectic atmosphere. Clean. Good service and good selection of variety of beers
